(Natural News) Record highs are being set around the globe for the cost of electricity, and countries in Europe are experiencing the worst of it. The entire scam of electric cars is now being realized by the majority of the populace, as they finally realize it costs more to own, maintain and ‘fuel’ an electric car than any standard gasoline-fueled automobile. Don’t believe it?
Right now, in Europe, it costs about $135 to charge a Tesla to full, and that price is on track to DOUBLE by the new year. That means it will cost $270 to fully charge the average electric vehicle (EV) in Germany and France. Currently, one euro is equal to one US dollar. That’s just the beginning of insane costs incurred to support the EV nightmare. Let’s do the math.
Electric vehicles cost SIX TIMES more to own and maintain than gas-powered vehicles, and still rely on fossil fuels to get charged up
The electricity that charges and fuels battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles comes from power grids, which mostly rely on fossil fuels. Oops. So much for all that bragging about that smaller carbon footprint. The price of an average electric car is a whopping $66,000 in the USA right now, and that price is increasing at over 13 percent every year. The monthly payment on that electric car will run you upwards of $1250. Expect Bidenflation to drive that price upwards significantly, and soon.
The typical 40kWh battery pack needed to charge most mainstream electric vehicles, when fully charged, lasts for about 150 miles. By the way, it takes around 8 hours to charge from empty-to-full with a 7kW charging point. What a nightmare. Now, the average person drives about 15,000 miles per year. That means they spend about $42,000 per year to charge an electric car to go the same number of miles a gas powered car would go. So charge that car all year for $270 to go 150 miles each time, and that’s 100 charges at $270 totaling $27,000 per year.
Add the monthly payment of $1250 for 12 months to that ($15,000) and now you’ve spent $42,000 in one year to own and “fuel” that electric car next year. We still haven’t even calculated any maintenance plan or repairs, and guess what? A new electric car battery, should that battery die, on average right now costs about $14,000. So now you’re at $56,000, and you’re just one year in.
Meanwhile, the average gas-powered car gets around 30 miles (on the highway) to the gallon, and the average tank holds about 15 gallons, and the average price of gas in America is hovering around $4 per gallon. That’s expected to increase also. Let’s do the math on all of that and compare costs.
A full tank of gas costs $60, multiply that by 30 miles to the gallon, and you can travel 450 miles for $60. The average price of a decent new gas-powered automobile is around $45,000 now. Though that price is exorbitant, the monthly (lease) payment runs about $450. Add that up for a year ($5400) with a full tank of gas every week for a year ($3120), and you’ve spent about $8500.
The global warming scam governs the electric vehicle scam, while the Biden Regime cripples all resources for gas, diesel, electricity power
The renewable energy scam is well underway, and it will cost everyone a fortune they can’t afford, while crippling the nation under the guise of “saving the planet” from global warming, or climate change, or Al Gore, or something like that.
Welcome to the EV nightmare. Bottom line is that it costs 6 times more to own and run an electric car, so you’ll have to get a second and third job to cover those expenses, while driving MORE, using fossil fuels to charge your planet-saving vehicle, and going broke while starving to death all the while. Sounds like a grand plan from a communist regime running the republic we used to know. Don’t let the “Green New Deal” wreck our entire country forever. Stay smart. Stay frosty.

The new rule came via an online landing page for “Berkeley Coronavirus,” which states that masks are “strongly recommended, but not required” indoors – except for students who have not been injected with a flu shot, who are mandated to veil their faces.
“Masks are required during flu season if not vaccinated for flu,” the announcement on the school’s website reads.
Prior to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19), UC Berkeley never required masks for anything. Now, post-plandemic, the school has decided to take matters into its own hands in defiance of science.
“UC Berkeley is going to force unvaccinated students to mask during flu season, despite the CDC saying that unvaccinated should now be treated the same as vaccinated,” said lawyer and United States Senate candidate Mark Meuser.
“Someone should tell UC Berkeley that they should follow the science.”
On Twitter, a number of people ridiculed UC Berkeley for making up its own science, which has absolutely nothing to do with real science.
“2019 norms gone forever at Berkeley, as university makes masking compulsory in flu seasons,” one user tweeted.
“I saw some images of it and doubted it, oh no, it’s real … Never mind a 100-year old consensus masks don’t help for the flu,” wrote another.
“Worth asking how we got to this point, where two weeks to crush the curve have become a permanent crusade against seasonal respiratory infections in general,” chimed in someone else.
Biden urges Americans to take seasonal covid “boosters”
It turns out that nobody from the government has said a thing about masking for the flu. Berkeley simply made up the new rule out of thin air, much like how the Biden regime has decided that covid “boosters” need to be an annual affair.
The U.S. government recently purchased – with taxpayer money, of course – 170 million doses of the new booster shot, which is available for “free” to anyone who wants (or is forced to take) it.
Ashish Jha, the Biden regime’s Fauci Flu czar, announced that the untested injection will offer magical protection during the upcoming cold and flu season. Jha hopes that the shot will become an annual affair – meaning cha-ching! for his pocketbook.
AstraZenea CEO Pascal Soriot, meanwhile, objects to the idea of annual injections because his company is not in on the scheme. Soriot’s excuse for objecting is that annual covid booster injections are a waste of taxpayer dollars.
“I’m not sure it’s a really good use of money,” Soriot told The Sunday Telegraph, adding that the initial shots are already protecting people for a “long time.”
Susan Rienow, the head of vaccine production at Pfizer, disagrees. She claims that people need to “remain vigilant” against Chinese Germs, which means rolling up their sleeves every year for another new shot. (Related: The powers that be also want people to take nasal mRNA “vaccines”.)
“Making sure people are boosting their immunity, so we can prevent people from being hospitalized, is going to be really important,” Rienow declared.
House Republicans are pushing Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to lift the Fauci Flu shot mandate immediately as it has kept some 45,000 National Guardsmen inactive since the end of June, leaving the country at risk.
“All of this is happening with the backdrop of a recruiting and retention crisis the military services have not seen in decades,” reads a letter from said House Republicans about how the mandate is making an already bad situation that much worse.

(Natural News) Tensions that were already high between China and Taiwan rose yet again earlier this week following the downing of a drone sent by Beijing’s military into Taiwan’s territorial waters.
The incursion took place near an islet off China’s coast as the Taiwanese military fired upon the reportedly unarmed civilian drone, The Guardian reported.
“Beijing, which claims Taiwan as its own against the objections of the Taipei government, has held military exercises around the island since early last month in reaction to a visit to Taipei by the US House of Representatives speaker, Nancy Pelosi,” the outlet noted. “Taiwan’s government has said it will not provoke or escalate tensions but has been particularly angered recently by repeated cases of Chinese drones buzzing islands controlled by Taiwan close to China’s coast.”
The outlet went on to point out that the defence command for a group of Taiwan-controlled islands — Kinmen — that sit opposite of Chinese cities Xiamen and Quanzhou noted in a statement put out by the country’s defense ministry that the drone entered highly restricted airspace over Lion Islet shortly after noon local time on Tuesday.
Troops stationed there attempted to warn the drone off but it did not respond, so they were ordered to shoot it down. The remains of the drone landed in the ocean and, according to reports, likely not recovered.
It was the first time that Taiwan even fired warning shots at a drone. The shots came after Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen ordered her country’s military to initiate “strong countermeasures” against China’s provocative moves.
The Guardian noted further:
Speaking to the armed forces earlier on Thursday, Tsai said China was continuing to use drone intrusions and other “grey zone” tactics to try to intimidate Taiwan, her office cited her as saying in a statement.
Tsai again emphasized that Taiwan would not provoke disputes but that did not mean it would not take countermeasures, the statement added.
“She has also ordered the ministry of national defense to take necessary and strong countermeasures in a timely manner to defend national security,” it said.
Earlier Thursday, Lin Wen-Huang, deputy chief of the general staff for Taiwan’s armed forces, told reporters in a press briefing: “For aircraft and ships that entered our sea and air territory of 12 nautical miles, the national army will exercise its right to self-defense and counter-attack without exception.”
This is just the beginning of China’s escalation in ‘gray zone’ activity, which is defined as aggressive tactics short of outright kinetic warfare.
“This marks the first time shots have been fired during the current period of elevated tensions between China and Taiwan,” says an analysis by private intelligence firm Forward Observer regarding the incident. “China had previously dismissed Taiwan’s claims of harassment and provocations as ‘nothing to make a fuss about.’ Expect China to continue to escalate tensions with Taiwan by increasing the frequency and severity of its incursions into Taiwanese territory – potentially resulting in counter-attacks by Taiwan and leading to full-scale armed conflict.”
Meanwhile, the report noted in a separate item, Indonesia is also facing a territorial crisis in its exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the North Natuna Sea from China, as that country falls victim to Beijing’s “Belt And Road Initiative,” which is just a debt trap.
“China has been conducting regular incursions into Indonesian waters that China says are its own under its 9 Dash Line territorial claim. Ruled invalid by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, the claim encompasses nearly 90% of the South China Sea. China has routinely conducted illegal fishing in Indonesia’s EEZ, patrolled the waters with its Coast Guard and maritime militia fleets, and even conducted seafloor mapping for future resource exploitation,” the report continued.
“The Indonesian government appears hesitant to confront these encroachments as its leadership and wealthy industrial class derive significant economic benefits from business with China,” it added.
