US military stockpiles at “dangerously low levels” not seen in decades due to military aid shipments to Ukraine

Image: US military stockpiles at “dangerously low levels” not seen in decades due to military aid shipments to Ukraine

(Natural News) Analysts from the Bank of America have warned that the support the United States is providing Ukraine is pushing the country’s military stockpiles to “dangerously low levels” not seen in decades.

America has sent tens of billions of dollars worth of military aid to Ukraine. Part of that aid – worth approximately $8.4 billion – comes from military equipment taken from the Department of Defense‘s (DOD) own weapons stockpiles. It was procured through an authority known as “presidential drawdown.” (Related: Costly war: American aid to Ukraine about to hit $65 billion.)

“Presidential drawdowns have pushed U.S. weapons stockpiles to dangerously low levels that have not been seen for decades,” wrote the analysts. “On several ground systems, DOD officials have indicated that ammunition stocks have dwindled to levels that would be considered problematic during wartime.”

The analysts noted that President Joe Biden has drawn from crucial military stockpiles at least 20 times since Aug. 2021 through his presidential drawdown authority. The federal government is already seeking the help of major defense contractors to restock depleted inventories.

The Bank of America analysts noted that some of the largest defense contractors like Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics have already been given $1.2 billion worth of contracts to replenish stockpiles. These contracts include:

  • $624 million for new FIM-92 Stinger man-portable surface-to-air missile systems
  • $352 million for new FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank missile systems
  • $33 million for new M142 High Mobile Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS)

America continues to provide military aid to Ukraine despite depleting stockpiles

One of the biggest concerns of defense officials is the flow of American-made ammunition into Ukraine, including for handheld firearms and for larger weapons systems like artillery pieces.

Since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation in late February, the U.S. has sent the following to Ukraine:

  • 126 155mm Howitzers and up to 806,000 155mm artillery rounds
  • 20 105mm Howitzers and 180,000mm artillery rounds
  • 20 120mm mortar systems and 85,000 120mm mortar rounds
  • Over 40,000 anti-armor systems like Javelins
  • Over 1,400 anti-aircraft systems like Stingers
  • Over 10,000 grenade launchers and small arms
  • Over 60 million rounds of small arms ammunition

The military has declined to say how many rounds of artillery it had in its stockpiles at the start of the year due to national security concerns. But one defense official who spoke with the Wall Street Journal noted that the level of 155mm artillery rounds in storage has become “uncomfortably low” in recent weeks.

While the levels aren’t critical at the moment because the U.S. isn’t engaged in any major military conflict, the official noted that it is not at the level they would like to go into combat.

Defense industry officials familiar with the situation noted that the potential shortage in ammunition isn’t due to a lack of funds. But the Pentagon has yet to actually set aside money to address the issue. Furthermore, since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, industry officials have complained that the Pentagon hasn’t been communicating what it needs from defense companies.

The supply lines for reinforcing the country’s stockpiles are still dormant. Companies noted that they are already producing ammunition, including 155mm and 180mm artillery rounds, but not yet in the capacity that will allow the U.S. to replenish its stocks before it is depleted due to the shipments of military aid heading to Ukraine.

Worse yet, industry analysts note that it will take between 13 to 18 months from the time the Pentagon orders more ammunition before the defense industry finishes manufacturing. Replenishing stockpiles for more sophisticated weaponry such as missiles for HIMARS, Javelin and Stinger platforms will take even longer.

Exclusive: Proof that the CDC is deliberately ignoring the safety signals from the COVID vax

If you want objective proof of total ineptitude by the CDC and the medical community in monitoring the safety of the COVID vaccines, this is the article you’ve been waiting for. There is no way they can argue their way out of this one.

We need look no further than the vaccine safety signal monitoring formula used by the CDC to prove our point.

Problems include:

  1. The formula for generating safety signals is fundamentally flawed,

  2. The CDC refused to correct it when notified of the problem,

  3. Even the flawed formula showed a safety signal for death,

  4. The CDC failed to notify the public that the death signal was triggered

  5. The mainstream medical community didn’t notice anything was wrong and remained silent while hundreds of thousands of Americans were killed by the COVID vaccines. See this article or Dr. Naomi Wolf’s independent validation of my numbers.

Very early on in my new professional career as a misinformation superspreader (which began on May 25, 2021 when I authored a 285-page article “Should you get vaccinated?” for Trial Site News), I discovered a document entitled Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Standard Operating Procedures for COVID-19 (Jan 29, 2021).

Note that FOUO stamped on each page means “For official use only” so please do not use this for other than official use or you could get in trouble. I clearly violated that warning and look at what happened to me.

It was immediately clear to me when I first read this document in early July 2021, that the formulas they used to trigger safety signals were flawed.

I tried to bring this to the attention of the CDC and the outside committee of the CDC. The CDC ignored me and the outside committee members refused to consider my emails and the two that replied said to submit it as a public comment which I did months later when they opened the window for public comments. See Comment tracking number: ksy-ckr3-73lv.

I also pointed the error out to Mathew Crawford. I didn’t have a substack at the time, but Mathew did.

Mathew memorialized it in a Substack article dated July 26, 2021 aptly titled Defining Away Vaccine Safety Signals. That was the first article in a three part series. Here are Part 2 and Part 3.

So there is a clear public record that we pointed this out in Mathew’s Substack article.

The medical community doesn’t seem to mind. No complaints from any of them. Even Vinay Prasad said nothing.

Let me summarize the key points for you in a nutshell:

  1. PRR is defined on page 16 in the CDC document as follows (and note they should have capitalized all the letters in the formula):

  2. A “safety signal” is defined on page 16 in the CDC document as a PRR of at least 2, chi-squared statistic of at least 4, and 3 or more cases of the AE following receipt of the specific vaccine of interest.  This is the famous “and clause.” Here it is from the document

  3. Only someone who is incompetent or is deliberately trying to make the vaccines look safe would use the word “and” in the definition of a safety signal. Using “and” means that if any one of the conditions isn’t satisfied, no safety signal will be generated. As noted below, the PRR will rarely trigger which virtually guarantees that most events generated by an unsafe vaccine will never get flagged.

  4. The PRR value for the COVID vaccines will rarely exceed 1 because there are so many adverse events from the COVID vaccine because it is so dangerous (i.e., B in the formula is a huge number) so the numerator is always near zero. Hence, the “safety signal” is rarely triggered because the vaccine is so dangerous.

  1. The CDC publishes: Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Standard Operating Procedures for COVID-19 (Jan 29, 2021).

  2. I first learned of this paper in July after I couldn’t figure out why the CDC wasn’t warning anyone of the safety signals in plain sight.

  3. I read the paper. It was clear on my initial reading that the formula the CDC uses to trigger safety signals is seriously flawed: it will rarely fire if the vaccine under test is very dangerous because it relies on using PRR in an “and” clause (more about that below).

  4. On July 25, I notified Mathew Crawford and others of the error. Here’s the email I sent:

  5. Crawford cranks out an article (first in a series of 3 articles) just one day later on July 26, 2021: Defining Away Vaccine Safety Signals.

  6. On August 29, 2021, I notified the CDC using their official notification channels of the flaw: see Comment tracking number: ksy-ckr3-73lv which was submitted prior to the August 30, 2021 ACIP meeting. See Attachment 1, page 1 and page 6 which documents the error as well as my attempts to bring the error to the attention of the ACIP committee (that part continues on to page 7). The other two attachments are also useful reading and proves that the CDC was notified and they chose to entirely ignore all the input that the vaccines are unsafe.

  7. The safety signal for death (and likely many more adverse events) is so extreme that even using their own flawed formula for detecting safety signals, the “death” safety signal should have triggered as I show below. Yet we heard nothing, not even in the FOIA requests. How is it possible that they missed the single most important safety signal for a vaccine? The deaths are off the charts; even their flawed safety signal was finally triggered, but they said absolutely nothing to the American people.

  8. The medical community has chosen to look the other way and ignore all of this: (a) the flawed formula, and (b) the failure of the CDC to use their own erroneous formula with the data in plain sight to notify the public of a potential problem.

  9. The mainstream media has refused to report on this.

  10. The only member of Congress that will talk to me about vaccine safety is Senator Ron Johnson. The others hang up or refer me to staffers who then ignore me.

If you don’t see why dangerous vaccines will rarely generate a PRR signal, here’s an example.

Suppose we have the world’s most dangerous vaccine that causes adverse events in everyone who gets it and generates 25,000 different adverse events, and each adverse event has 1,000 instances. That means that the numerator is 1,000/25,000,000 which is just 40 events per million reported events.

Now let’s look at actuals for something like deaths.

For all other vaccines, there are 6,200 deaths and 1M adverse events total.

Since 40 per million is less than 6,200 deaths per million, we are not even close to generating a safety signal for deaths from our hypothetical vaccine which killed 1,000 people in a year (the MMR vaccine by comparison reports around 5 deaths per year in VAERS for 10M doses).

The point is that a dangerous vaccine can look very “safe” using the PRR formula.

Let’s do the PRR for death for the COVID vaccine.

For all other vaccines, there are 6,200 deaths and 1M adverse events total.

For the COVID vaccines, there were 31,214 deaths and 1.4M adverse events total.

PRR = (31214/1.4e6) / (6200/1e6) = 3.59 which exceeds the threshold.

In other words, the COVID vaccine is so deadly, that even with all the adverse events generated by the vaccine, the death signal did not get drowned out!!!

So the symptom “death” generated a PRR of 3.59 which exceeds the threshold of 2

But there is still the chi-square test.

The CDC chi-square test is clearly satisfied for the COVID vaccine.

I did a very rough calculation making simplifying assumptions since it was obvious that the value would be quite high. I assumed the number of vaccinations was the same in every year (which is approximately true) and that in 2021, the number of vaccinations went up by a factor of 5X normal.

The estimated chi-square statistic of 18,549 exceeded the threshold of 4 using the symptom of death.

Because the death signal is so huge, it even survived the PRR test.

This means that even using the CDCs own erroneous “safety signal” formula, all three criteria were satisfied:

  1. PRR>2: It was 3.59

  2. Chi-square>2: It was 18,549

  3. 3 or more reports: There were over 31,214 death reports received by VAERS so far.

A safety signal should have been generated but wasn’t. Why not?

Why does the CDC ignore me?

Does anyone care? Hundreds of thousands of American lives have been lost due to the inability of the CDC to deploy their own flawed safety signal analysis.

Because the Epoch Times just published an article today about newly disclosed emails about the CDC safety monitoring debacle where first they were doing it and then they weren’t and then they were and then they weren’t. It’s so confusing.

So I thought this would be a good time to bring to light the huge problem that they have a flaw definition and even with their flawed definition, the safety signals still trigger the signal, and the CDC remains silent. This is the big story that has not been reported.

There are at least 7 articles in The Epoch Times recently about the CDC safety monitoring disaster:

The most recent article reveals that the two people who appear to be most responsible for this failure are John Su and Tom Shimabukuro.

Also special mention goes to Martha Sharan who makes sure that people like me cannot talk to the principal players. Martha is nice enough to ignore all attempts at communication so that John and Tom are never held accountable for their mistakes.

None of them will respond to any emails I’ve sent them.

Maybe you will have better luck than I have had getting their attention.

Here are their emails:

  1. John Su, the CDC VAERS expert

  2. Tom Shimabukuro, a prominent member of the Vaccine Safety Team of the CDC COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force. Tom is also the first author of the NEJM paper on pregnancy and the vaccines, but there was never a follow-up paper showing what happened to women who got the shot early in their pregnancy. Why weren’t the final results ever published? He’s avoided answering this question and the press apparently doesn’t want to know the answer for some reason.

  3. Martha Sharan, the press gatekeeper who makes sure nobody gets to John and Tom. Martha and I have never talked, not even by email. She’s ignored every form of communication from me. Nice lady.

The Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) is a measure used to assess safety signals in spontaneous reporting databases such as VAERS where people voluntarily report adverse events.

Using PRR alone is a very unreliable way to identify safety signals for a vaccine, especially vaccines which are extremely dangerous.

For the COVID vaccines, the PRR signal will rarely fire because there are so many adverse events so the numerator is always small so that the threshold (PRR>1) is only met for extremely serious events.

By making PRR a required element to detect a safety signal (the “and” clause described below), the very dangerous COVID vaccines appear to be safe.

I was the very first person to point out this error to the CDC in August 2021.

Nobody in the world except me and my misinformation spreader colleagues have questioned the safety signal formula used by the CDC.

The medical community looks the other way. Not a single member of the medical community has ever pointed out this error in the CDC formula.

The fact that no mainstream media, like the NY Times, Washington Post, CNN, and 60 Minutes will report on this even today shows you how captured the media is as well.

This is objective, unassailable proof of how deeply flawed and corrupt the medical system is. We pointed out the error publicly and everyone ignored it.

It simply doesn’t get any more clear than this that the people involved in safety monitoring at the CDC are incompetent.

Putin places blame for Nordstream sabotage squarely on Biden after he threatened to shut it down over Ukraine invasion

Image: Putin places blame for Nordstream sabotage squarely on Biden after he threatened to shut it down over Ukraine invasion

(Natural News) Russian President Vladimir Putin has made it crystal clear that he blames the United States for sabotaging the Nordstream 1 and 2 natural gas pipelines last week after a video surfaced of President Joe Biden and other U.S. officials threatening to take them out if Russia invaded Ukraine.

Putin made his remarks last week in the wake of the unprecedented attack on another country’s vital infrastructure, which critics said could hasten the arrival of World War III.

“They are destroying European energy infrastructure… it’s clear who benefits,” Putin was quoted as saying. “It’s obvious to everyone who did it.”

The Moscow Times added:

Putin blamed the United States for this week’s unexplained explosions at the Nord Stream pipelines that have left the damaged pipelines leaking huge amounts of natural gas into the Baltic Sea.

The Russian president also addressed the upcoming winter, which is shaping up to be especially brutal for Europeans after having lost the Nordstream links.

“They print money, but you cannot warm your homes with this printed money… They have to convince their citizens to shower less, eat less, and put on warm clothes,” he said, according to the Moscow outlet.

“The Western elites…it’s a crisis due to their own fault,” he said, trying to shift blame to the West for his invasion. He also said that the goal of the “hybrid war” in Ukraine is “to break Russia at any costs.”

“The dictatorship of the Western elite is directed against all societies, including against the peoples of those Western countries themselves. It’s a challenge for all. This means the total negation of the human, the overthrow of religion and traditional values as the crushing of freedom becomes to look like the opposite of religion – open Satanism,” Putin continued, which is a familiar theme of his, going on to reject ridiculous attempts by the West to impose “LGBTQ” gender ideology, which he appropriately deems a threat to Russian society.

“Do we really want to have a parent No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 instead of mom and dad in Russia? Do we want children to be told that there are other genders besides men and women? Is this the future we want for our children? For us, this is unacceptable,” Putin said, according to translated remarks.

“I’ve watched a lot of Putin speeches over the last 10-15 years and this is the most anti-US one by a really long way. If I were a western policymaker wondering if he’d really use nuclear weapons – and he hasn’t even got to them yet – I’d be very concerned,” one observer noted on Twitter.

The Moscow Times added:

He also slammed Washington’s past use of nuclear weapons, comments that follow his warning last week that he “wasn’t bluffing” about resorting to “any means necessary” in Ukraine.

“The U.S. is the only country in the world to have used nuclear weapons,” Putin said. “Creating a precedent.”

As Putin spoke in the Kremlin, hundreds of Russians gathered in Red Square in front of a stage emblazoned with the words “Donetsk. Luhansk. Zaporizhzhia. Kherson. Russia!”

Actually, the U.S. utilized atomic weapons, but it signaled the beginning of the nuclear age as the then-Soviet Union built its own weapons shortly thereafter.

The Biden regime responded by vowing that it would “not stand by as Putin fraudulently attempts to annex parts of Ukraine,” while then announcing new expanded sanctions against Russian individuals and entities.

“Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated 14 persons in Russia’s military-industrial complex, including two international suppliers, three key leaders of Russia’s financial infrastructure, immediate family members of some of senior Russian officials, and 278 members of Russia’s legislature for enabling Russia’s sham referenda and attempt to annex sovereign Ukrainian territory,” said the administration.

Gavin Newsom turns California into abortion central, signs more than a dozen bills expanding medical violence against unborn babies

Image: Gavin Newsom turns California into abortion central, signs more than a dozen bills expanding medical violence against unborn babies

(Natural News) For a majority of Americans, the right to life is sacrosanct, but for some reason, taking unborn life is a priority for Democrats and their voters, and nowhere is the practice going to be more prolific than in California.

Once a state that offered a new life and promise to millions, California has become the death capital of the country after Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed 13 bills codifying and greatly expanding abortions.

“The bills will allocate over $200 million in new abortion funding, greenlight recruitment of abortionists to broaden availability, and ensure that almost no abortion will be prosecuted under the law,” LifeSite News reported last week after Newsom practically strained his wrists signing his name so many times.

“The legislative package also includes a controversial bill that critics have warned could be interpreted as decriminalizing infanticide” — the ‘right’ to abort an unborn child right up to the moment of birth.

In a late September press release, Newsom said that the laws are in direct contrast to those passed in GOP states essentially banning or severely limiting the procedure. Many of those laws were actually passed decades ago but were put on hold until the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the horrendous Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion throughout the country in 1973. The high court reversed that ruling in June, thus ‘triggering’ the previous abortion limits and bans.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed more than a dozen laws aiming to make California an abortion sanctuary state. Several of the new laws deliberately clash with restrictions in other states.

— The Associated Press (@AP) September 28, 2022

It should be noted that the high court did not ban abortions. Rather, the SCOTUS ruling merely returned the issue to the states, where it had been until a previous Supreme Court somehow found a ‘right’ to murder unborn babies in the Constitution. Some states have banned the procedure, others continue to allow it under certain conditions, and far-left blue states like California have few restrictions at all, including time limitations.

“An alarming number of states continue to outlaw abortion and criminalize women, and it’s more important than ever to fight like hell for those who need these essential services,” Newsom said, according to the press release.

LifeSite News noted further:

Perhaps the most well-known law signed as part of Newsom’s abortion package was AB 2223, dubbed “the infanticide bill” by pro-life critics.

As LifeSiteNews previously reported, pro-life attorneys and activists have argued the bill could legalize infanticide by prohibiting the investigation or prosecution of any woman or abortionist for “pregnancy outcomes,” including abortion, miscarriage, and “perinatal death,” a nebulous period that can span as far as two years after a child is born.

“The new modifying phrase may lessen the length of time during which the infanticide may occur, but it still leaves the newborn infant vulnerable to being killed by the abortionist or their partners in crime,” Thomas More Society special counsel Charles LiMandri previously told the news site.

“Since we already know that some abortion workers have either surreptitiously killed newborn infants, or left them to die without proper care, this Bill still stands to give more such criminals legal cover in the future,” LiMandri noted further.

An analysis by the Right to Life League adds: “While the bill’s April 6th amendments attempt to address problems concerning immunity for government investigations, the bill will likely chill investigation of infant deaths since it empowers mothers and ANYONE connected with the death of a newborn to bring a private cause of action for damages ($25,000 penalty), including the threat of attorney fees upon motion to a judge, against people who inquire into a newborn’s death.”

“What impact will this bill have on private health care providers, doctors or nurses who report a perinatal death to authorities?” the league added.

Democrats are the party of death, without question.

SIXTH property insurer declares bankruptcy after Hurricane Ian

Image: SIXTH property insurer declares bankruptcy after Hurricane Ian

(Natural News) The insurance industry is not doing so well as the sixth insurance company so far this year declares insolvency.

According to reports, state regulators in Florida have asked a judge to place a property insurance company in receivership following Hurricane Ian.

The Florida Department of Financial Services is seeking to be the appointed receiver for FedNat Insurance Company, which was already struggling long before Ian arrived. (Related: Florida’s fertilizer hub took a direct hit from Hurricane Ian.)

FedNat canceled 56,500 policies back in May. In June, the company reached an agreement to transfer about 83,000 policies to another company.

FedNat will still be responsible for all claims and other obligations before June 1, according to court documents. On September 13, the company notified the state Office of Insurance Regulation that it does not have enough money for “runoff” from its obligations.

“Respondent (FedNat) notified OIR that it had overstated its cash position and could not complete a solvent runoff,” a court petition filed by the Department of Financial Services’ Division of Rehabilitation and Liquidation reads.

“OIR immediately sent an examiner to the company. On September 14, 2022, Respondent advised OIR that it did not have sufficient cash on hand to pay its obligations and debts as they come due in the normal course of business. Therefore, Respondent is insolvent as defined (by a section of state law) and delinquency proceedings are appropriate.”

Florida’s property insurance system is collapsing at breakneck speed

Since February, the following Florida property insurance companies have declared insolvency:

  • Southern Fidelity Insurance Co.
  • Weston Property and Casualty Insurance Co.
  • Lighthouse Property Insurance Corp.
  • Avatar Property & Casualty Insurance Co.
  • St. Johns Insurance Co.

The state-backed Citizens Property Insurance Corp., which was created as “an insurer of last resort,” according to a Tallahassee-based news outlet, has seen massive growth this year amid the loss of all these insurance companies.

As of September 16, Citizens had 1.055 million policies, which is more than double the number it had two years ago. Of these, 19,740 policies were previously insured by FedNat.

Prior to initiating the “extraordinary remedy” of canceling early 56,500 policies, FedNat held about 140,000 policies total. The remaining 83,000 or so policies will be transferred to a related company, Monarch National Insurance Co.

Since at least March 2020, the financial problems of FedNat have been a point of concern. It was that year when the state of Florida started requiring the company to file monthly financial statements.

Later that year, regulators began holding regular conference calls with the company to keep tabs on its financial status.

“Despite capital infusions, Respondent’s (financial) surplus continued to decline, and its underwriting losses continued to increase throughout the remainder of 2020 and into and throughout 2021,” the court petition further reads.

FedNat stopped writing new policies this year, according to the same petition. On August 1, it lost its financial rating with the ratings agency Demotech.

“When property insurers become insolvent, the non-profit Florida Insurance Guaranty Association typically steps in to pay claims,” says Tallahassee Reports (TR).

“Known as FIGA, the organization has authority to levy ‘assessments,’ which are costs passed on to insurance policyholders across the state.”

“FIGA already is using money from assessments of 1.3 percent and 0.7 percent to pay costs related to other insolvencies. Its board last month approved a plan to borrow $150 million, with the debt financed by extending the 0.7 percent assessment through 2023.”

In the comment section at TR, someone wrote that he believes there will come a time when it becomes obvious that insurance companies and banks “are so tightly interwoven that both will leave their depositors high and dry in a domino effect that will leave depositors impoverished after their life savings are absconded within the Ponzi scheme known as the stock market.”
