UK bans COVID-19 vaccine for boys aged 5 to 11 after investigation reveals shot affects their sexual development

(Natural News) The United Kingdom’s Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has announced that children who had not turned five by the end of Aug. 2022 would not be eligible for a Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine until they turn 12. This comes after an investigation found that the vaccine affects the sexual development of very young boys.

This groundbreaking shift aligns with recommendations from the U.K.’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI), an independent expert advisory committee advising the British government’s health officials. The committee advised against vaccinating young children back in February. (Related: Pfizer DID NOT test its COVID-19 vaccine for possible effects on male fertility.)

The UKHSA’s announcement received massive backlash from parent groups and so-called academics.

“When we know there is a safe and effective vaccine available, this seems unjustifiable to me,” claimed Christina Pagel, a professor at University College London. “JCVI itself considered there to be a benefit to young children to be vaccinated – even if most of them had already been infected.”

Pagel claimed that providing children with COVID-19 vaccines prevents them from experiencing long COVID, missing school because of preventable severe COVID-19 cases and reducing transmission to household members, other children and teachers.

The professor fearmongered without evidence that the U.K. is expected to experience at least one serious COVID-19 wave later this year, and it will likely infect many children who can’t get vaccinated until they turn 12.

Both the JCVI and UKHSA have defended their decision. The latter said the offer to provide healthy children under 12 COVID-19 vaccines was always meant to be temporary. The JCVI, meanwhile, stated that young children remain at very low risk of developing severe COVID-19.

Adam Finn, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Bristol and a member of the JCVI, noted that the proportion of U.K. parents who had chosen to vaccinate their young children remains small.

COVID-19 vaccine preventing development of male sex organs

The U.K.’s policy change regarding vaccinating young children was very likely influenced by a recent report by Dr. Naomi Wolf, which revealed the devastating effects of the COVID-19 vaccine on young boys. According to Wolf, the vaccine hinders the development of the testes of pre-adolescent boys.

“The vaccines hurt the testes and hurt the parts of the testes that develop the masculinity and secondary sex characteristics of little boys, and baby boys and teenage boys,” said Wolf during an interview on “The War Room” with Steve Bannon. “So, they literally harm the chances of your little boy child [sic] to grow up normally as a male human adult.”

Wolf added that concerning evidence linking the COVID-19 vaccines and fertility is not just about the suppression of the sperm counts or mobility of men, but “something even more insidious” because of how the lipid nanoparticles in the vaccines enter the reproductive organs of young boys.

Widespread vaccination is already affecting the fertility rates of countries with high vaccination rates. In the United States, data from the Census Bureau and the National Center for Health Statistics has found that, between 1990 to 2019, fertility rates for women between the ages of 20 to 24 declined by 43 percent, whereas fertility rates for women aged 35 to 39 increased by 67 percent.

Sara Middleton, a staff writer for NaturalHealth365, noted that the older generation of women is among the last generation of Americans “to have a childhood vax schedule ‘only’ featuring a dozen or so injections.”

“Is it possible that today’s younger females could be facing declining fertility rates, in part, because they have had higher exposures to early childhood toxins?” Middleton asked.

Mass Monitoring: A Digital Dictatorship on the Horizon?

arpa h digital dictatorship on the horizon

  • A little over a year ago President Biden proposed the establishment of a new biomedical research agency modeled after the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to propel cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and other diseases

  • That agency — the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) — is now well on its way to being and up and running, with a $1 billion budget from Congress

  • ARPA-H appears to merge national security with health “security” in a way that could lead to the criminalization of illness and general “wrong-think”

  • The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is now recommending that all U.S. adults aged 65 and younger should be screened for mental health issues

  • The screening recommendation falls right in line with the original intent behind ARPA-H, which was to monitor Americans for neuropsychiatric warning signs by harvesting private data from consumer electronic devices and health care providers. AI would then be used to predict whether an individual might commit a crime, so that it could be stopped before it happens

A little over a year ago President Biden proposed a plan to set in place a new health agency to drive the U.S. down a futuristic road that would lead to cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and other diseases.

At the time, investigative journalist Whitney Webb, author of “One Nation Under Blackmail,” warned that the new biomedical research agency — modeled after the nation’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) — actually is a plan to merge national security with health “security” in a way that would “use both physical and mental health ‘warning signs’ to prevent outbreaks of disease or violence before they occur.”1

According to Webb, “Such a system is a recipe for a technocratic ‘pre-crime’ organization with the potential to criminalize both mental and physical illness as well as ‘wrongthink.’”

That agency — formally named the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health2 (ARPA-H) — is now well on its way to being and up and running, with a $1 billion budget from Congress to start. Public law 117-103 was enacted March 15, 2022, which authorized its establishment within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), under the National Institutes of Health (NIH).3

Government officials only need to iron out details such as what programs and activities it will engage in, and (of course) what “appropriate” current and future funding will be needed to run it.

ARPA-H seems to fit hand in glove with Biden’s September 12, 2022, “Executive Order on Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe and Secure American Bioeconomy,”4 which essentially establishes a fast-tracked pipeline for transhumanist dream projects.

Specified in that order is the development of genetic engineering technologies and techniques “to be able to write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology in the same way in which we write software and program computers,” as well as genetic technologies to “unlock the power of biological data” using “computing tools and artificial intelligence.”

Additionally, “obstacles for commercialization” will be reduced “so that innovative technologies and products can reach markets faster.” ARPA-H is a tailor-made vehicle for fast-tracked (read poorly tested and incredibly dangerous) biomedical research. Like DARPA, ARPA-H will focus on “high-risk, high-reward research.”

In related news, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force — an independent panel of experts appointed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services — is recommending that all U.S. adults aged 65 and younger should be screened for mental health issues.5

Is this a forerunner for Webb’s prediction of how the government will detect mental health “pre-crimes”? The task force is accepting public comments on the proposal until October 17, 2022.6

While we often think of military defense and public health as two very different areas of concern, the two have over the years merged to a significant extent, which in some ways helps explain why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now acting in ways that can best be described as a covert war against the health of the American public.

In June 2002, President Bush signed the “Biodefense for the 21st Century”7 directive, the aim of which was to advance a “comprehensive framework” for U.S. biodefense, based on the assumption that America could be devastated by a bioweapons attack.

The directive outlined “essential pillars” of the U.S. biodefense program, including threat awareness and vulnerability assessment, prevention and protection, surveillance and detection, response and recovery.

In 2002, the Bush administration quintupled biodefense spending to $317 million, and the following year, that budget ballooned to $2 billion.8 Bush also earmarked another $6 billion for the development and stockpiling of vaccines over the next decade.

The man selected by Vice President Dick Cheney to oversee the spending of much of these vast amounts of cash was Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984.

In 2003, Fauci’s professional responsibilities were expanded to include all civilian biodefense research, both classified and unclassified, and the development of medical countermeasures against terrorist threats from infectious diseases9 — and all without oversight. For all these years, he’s had carte blanche to approve and run whatever biodefense research he wanted, without anyone telling him otherwise.

We now know Fauci has funded a wide array of risky gain-of-function research, including research that may have been instrumental in the creation of SARS-CoV-2. And while all of that is being justified in the name of biodefense, in reality, all biodefense research is biowarfare research. Everything has dual use.

At the same time that he’s involved in the creation of lethal pathogens capable of devastating the global population, Fauci is also supposed to protect the American public against infectious diseases. In the case of COVID-19, he clearly failed, even though he confidently predicted10 that President Trump would have to face an infectious outbreak.

As it stands, ARPA-H is also housed under the umbrella of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), just like the NIAID. So, we basically have two biowarfare/defense agencies smack-dab in the middle of a public health agency.

Add to that the fact that “biodefense” has for the last nearly three years been used to strip Americans of their Constitutional rights and freedoms, and it’s starting to look as though our public health agencies have been turned into Department of Defense proxies.

The designated enemy is the American people, and the weapons of war are a combination of souped-up pathogens and gene-based technologies cooked up in Fauci-funded labs, and DOD-directed surveillance and social engineering technologies.

It makes sense to ask why the American defense department would turn its military might against its own people, the very ones it’s supposed to protect. The answer is that most nations have been infiltrated and basically taken over by globalist interests that want to erase national borders in favor of a centralized global governance board.

The United States is, unfortunately, no exception. So, the short answer is, the American government is not attacking Americans on their own accord. They’re merely doing the bidding of globalist interests.

Why? That’s a tougher question to answer. Some probably decided to sell out to the highest bidder. Others truly believe in the ideologies of technocracy and transhumanism that The Great Reset authors espouse.

Some might not realize why they’re doing what they’re doing. They’re just following orders and haven’t thought it through. Others may be psychopaths and just don’t care what happens, as long as they get theirs. Some are bonafide eugenicists and want to thin the herd, and all the more so if they can make a buck in the process.

Focusing for a moment on the psychiatric monitoring issue mentioned earlier, Webb, in her article, explained how ARPA-H proponents, in 2019, wanted Trump to implement it for the prevention of mass shootings — not cancer. As explained by Webb:11

“ARPA-H is not a new and exclusive Biden administration idea; there was a previous attempt to create a ‘health DARPA’ during the Trump administration in late 2019 …

In 2019, the same foundation and individuals currently backing Biden’s ARPA-H had urged then president Trump to create ‘HARPA,’ not for the main purpose of researching treatments for cancer and Alzheimer’s, but to stop mass shootings before they happen through the monitoring of Americans for ‘neuropsychiatric’ warning signs.

For the last few years, one man has been the driving force behind HARPA — former vice chair of General Electric and former president of NBC Universal, Robert Wright.

Through the Suzanne Wright Foundation (named for his late wife), Wright has spent years lobbying for an agency that ‘would develop biomedical capabilities — detection tools, treatments, medical devices, cures, etc.— for the millions of Americans who are not benefitting from the current system.’

While he, like Biden, has cloaked the agency’s actual purpose by claiming it will be mainly focused on treating cancer, Wright’s 2019 proposal to his personal friend Donald Trump revealed its underlying ambitions.

As first proposed by Wright in 2019, the flagship program of HARPA would be SAFE HOME, short for Stopping Aberrant Fatal Events by Helping Overcome Mental Extremes.12

SAFE HOME would suck up masses of private data from ‘Apple Watches, Fitbits, Amazon Echo, and Google Home’ and other consumer electronic devices, as well as information from health-care providers to determine if an individual might be likely to commit a crime. The data would be analyzed by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms ‘for early diagnosis of neuropsychiatric violence.’

The Department of Justice’s pre-crime approach known as DEEP13 was activated just months before Trump left office; it was also justified as a way to ‘stop mass shootings before they happen.’ Soon after Biden’s inauguration, the new administration began using information from social media to make pre-crime arrests14 as part of its approach toward combatting ‘domestic terror.’

Given the history of Silicon Valley companies collaborating with the government on matters of warrantless surveillance,15 it appears that aspects of SAFE HOME may already be covertly active under Biden, only waiting for the formalization of ARPA-H/HARPA to be legitimized as public policy.”

According to Webb, ARPA-H’s connections to DARPA suggests the new agency is a new version of DARPA’s failed Total Information Awareness (TIA) program, a biosurveillance project launched in the aftermath of 9/11.

The goal was to develop information technologies capable of automatically detecting the release of a pathogen by “monitoring nontraditional data sources,” including “prediagnostic medical data” and “behavioral indicators.”

Put plainly, they were trying to identify bioterrorist threats by spying on the public. “Now, under the guise of the proposed ARPA-H, DARPA’s original TIA would essentially be making a comeback for all intents and purposes as its own spin-off,” Webb writes.

Into this mix we also have to add Big Tech. The list of tech companies with DOD contracts is a long one, so many technologies have dual purposes. Facebook is but one example of that. This dual purpose also goes the other way. For example, the U.S. military is developing biometric wearables to detect COVID-19, ostensibly to allow Americans to “return to work safely.” As noted by Webb:16

“While of interest to the military, these wearables are primarily intended for mass use — a big step toward the infrastructure needed for the resurrection of a bio-surveillance program to be run by the national-security state.”

We also now know the U.S. government illegally instructs tech platforms to censor information and people on its behalf. So, Big Tech is also best viewed as a weapon, wielded by the U.S. government for the benefit of the technocratic cabal that wants to do away with nations and run the whole world.

There can be little doubt today that “biosecurity” is the favored justification for the need of a digital dictatorship. Stripping you of your freedom is “for your own safety,” and you’re supposed to be thankful. If you’re not, the biosecurity state labels you a homicidal bioterrorist.

It’s easy to see, actually, why biosecurity is such an alluring ploy. It’s easy to make people afraid of something they can’t see. It’s easy to fake an outbreak. It’s easy to get rid of anyone you want simply by labeling them a biothreat and tossing them into a quarantine camp, never to be heard of again. It’s easy to get people to comply with surveillance, as most are scared of getting sick.

It’s easy to get people to turn on each other, again because they’re afraid of getting sick. All you have to do is declare people who don’t mask up or won’t get the latest gene therapy a threat to public health, and people around them do the harassing. We’ve even discovered it’s easy to get people to commit voluntary suicide by taking a poisonous, experimental injection they know nothing about — again because they’re afraid of getting sick.

It’s a good plan. Just look at how easily these maniacs eliminated more than 5.9 million people worldwide with SARS-CoV-2 (many of which were killed by intentionally improper treatment protocols), and how easily they’re eliminating millions more in excess deaths from the COVID jab. All without firing a single bullet or lighting up a single gas chamber. It’s amazing, really. As noted by Webb:17

“In the merging of ‘national security’ and ‘health security,’ any decision or mandate promulgated as a public health measure could be justified as necessary for ‘national security,’ much in the same way that the mass abuses and war crimes that occurred during the post-9/11 ‘war on terror’ were similarly justified by ‘national security’ with little to no oversight.

Yet, in this case, instead of only losing our civil liberties and control over our external lives, we stand to lose sovereignty over our individual bodies … The … NIH’s BRAIN initiative … was launched, among other things, to ‘develop tools to record, mark, and manipulate precisely defined neurons in the living brain’ that are determined to be linked to an ‘abnormal’ function or a neurological disease …

Biden’s newly announced agency … would integrate those past Obama-era initiatives with Orwellian applications under one roof, but with even less oversight than before. It would also seek to expand and mainstream the uses of these technologies and potentially move toward developing policies that would mandate their use …

ARPA-H … will be used to resurrect dangerous and long-standing agendas of the national-security state and its Silicon Valley contractors, creating a ‘digital dictatorship’ that threatens human freedom, human society, and potentially the very definition of what it means to be human.”

In related news, Vice recently reported the U.S. military has purchased a mass monitoring tool called “Augury,” which is said to capture everything “except the smell of electricity”:18

“Multiple branches of the U.S. military have bought access to a powerful internet monitoring tool that claims to cover over 90 percent of the world’s internet traffic, and which in some cases provides access to people’s email data, browsing history, and other information such as their sensitive internet cookies, according to contracting data and other documents …

Additionally, Sen. Ron Wyden says that a whistleblower has contacted his office concerning the alleged warrantless use19 and purchase of this data by NCIS, a civilian law enforcement agency that’s part of the Navy …

The tool, called Augury … bundles a massive amount of data together and makes it available to government and corporate customers as a paid service … agencies that deal with criminal investigations have also purchased the capability. The military agencies did not describe their use cases for the tool.”

According to Vice, the U.S. Navy, Army, Cyber Command and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency have spent at least $3.5 million to access this tool. The question is why. As noted by Vice, rather than getting a proper warrant, U.S. agencies frequently simply purchase the desired data, be it cell phone data or internet use data, from private companies.

In the case of Augury, it harvests an estimated 93% of all internet traffic, including browser history, URLs visited, cookie usage, email data, and most importantly, packet capture data (PCAP) related to email, remote desktop and file sharing protocols.

“Google is also a frontrunner and expert in artificial intelligence, required for effective social engineering, and both are crucial components of The Great Reset’s social credit system.“

In all, it’s an insane amount of data being captured without our knowledge, which is then sold for a hefty profit by a private company (and this is just one of many) to government agencies that use our tax dollars to spy on us.

A key player in this digital prison being built around us, on the taxpayers’ dime, is Google. Not only is it a massive spy machine, capturing “every word of every email sent through Gmail and every click made on a Chrome browser,”20 it’s also a key censoring tool. Sure, it’s private and “can do what it wants,” but it’s actually doing the government’s bidding, so it’s not independent in any serious definition of the word.

Google is also a frontrunner and expert in artificial intelligence, required for effective social engineering, and both are crucial components of The Great Reset’s social credit system.

Google’s interference in your life is only going to increase, and if you’re still using Gmail, understand that they are censoring your inbox. While about 50% of our subscribers are using Gmail accounts, the delivery rate for Gmail accounts is HALF of all the email providers like ProtonMail.

So, if you are using Gmail to receive our newsletter please change immediately. ProtonMail is an excellent alternative. It provides end-to-end encryption to protect your content and other user data. Proton also provides an encrypted calendar, encrypted cloud storage and free VPN.

Next, start weeding out any and all other Google products. All Google products are interconnected, and the data from all their different products and services are collected to build your personality profile.

That profile is then sold to third parties. It’s also used by Google to influence your thoughts, beliefs and behaviors using AI analytics. AI analytics also bring us back to where we started, with Biden’s new “pre-crime,” predictive policing agency, ARPA-H — or what could become such an agency.

While predictive policing may still sound like pure sci-fi, a January 2020 Intercept article21 cited a 2018 document22 by the data storage firm Western Digital and the consulting company Accenture, which predicted smart surveillance networks will eventually be used for that very purpose.

At present, law enforcement uses CCTV networks to investigate crimes after they’ve occurred. Western Digital and Accenture predict that by 2025, municipalities will be transformed into fully connected smart cities where the cameras of businesses and public institutions are all plugged into a government-run AI-enabled analytics system, and by 2035, that system will have predictive capabilities. As reported by The Intercept:23

“A ‘public safety ecosystem’ will centralize data ‘pulled from disparate databases such as social media, driver’s licenses, police databases, and dark data.’ An AI-enabled analytics unit will let police assess ‘anomalies in real time and interrupt a crime before it is committed.’ That is to say, to catch pre-crime.”

Looking at ARPA-H with a jaundiced eye, it does seem tailor-made for what Webb calls “a technocratic ‘pre-crime’ organization with the potential to criminalize both mental and physical illness as well as ‘wrongthink.’”

It’s time to realize that you cannot have freedom without privacy — especially data privacy. We simply must have data privacy because our data is being used to manipulate, control, deceive and hurt us. It’s being used as a weapon against us.

Considering how massive the monitoring, surveillance and data harvesting is already, it’s going to take a while to extricate ourselves. Ultimately, we’ll need stringent laws and enforcement agencies that penalize companies that harvest and sell user data.

In the meantime, we need to educate each other about the control grid being set up, and on an individual level begin to “starve the beast.” Stop giving away your data. Every single data point you give them is another data point that will be used to educate AI on how to better control people.

Ditching Google products — all of them — will take a big chunk out of the data harvesting effort. So, don’t delay. Start today. Several of the most commonly-used Google traps are listed in the list and graphic below.

  • If you’re a high school student, do not convert the Google accounts you created as a student into personal accounts.

  • Switch to a secure document sharing service — Ditch Google Docs and use another alternative such as Zoho Office, Etherpad, CryptPad, OnlyOffice or Nuclino, all of which are recommended by NordVPN.24 Digital Trends has also published a number of alternatives.25

  • Delete all Google apps from your phone and purge Google hardware.

  • Avoid websites that use Google Analytics — To do that, you’ll need to check the website’s privacy policy and search for “Google.” Websites are required to disclose if they use a third-party surveillance tool. If they use Google Analytics, ask them to switch!

  • Don’t use Google Home devices in your house or apartment — These devices record everything that occurs in your home, both speech and sounds such as brushing your teeth and boiling water, even when they appear to be inactive, and send that information back to Google. The same goes for Google’s home thermostat Nest and Amazon’s Alexa.

  • Don’t use an Android cellphone, as it’s owned by Google.

  • Ditch Siri, which draws all its answers from Google.

  • Don’t use Fitbit, as it was recently purchased by Google and will provide them with all your physiological information and activity levels, in addition to everything else that Google already has on you.

  • Stop using Gmail — Use a privacy based encryption service like ProtonMail.

  • Stop using Chrome browser and Google Search — Brave is the browser of choice and while you are there, you can use the new Brave search engine.

You may assume your privacy is at risk when you give out information online, but even just browsing could pose a security risk, according to software engineer and security researcher Felix Krause.1

This is particularly true when you’re scrolling through an app on your cellphone, as in-app browsers may be monitoring virtually everything you’re doing, including your keystrokes, giving away credit card information, passwords and other sensitive data.

In-app browsing occurs when you browse third-party sites that open in the app as opposed to a separate browser. Krause found that in-app browsing initiated in the TikTok app includes a Java Script code that allows the social media giant to follow every screen tap and text input.

Krause, founder of Fastlane, an open source tool for iOS and Android developers, released a report in August 2022 warning of the risks of mobile apps using in-app browsers. In particular, he wrote, Instagram and Facebook apps “inject JavaScript code into third party websites that cause potential security and privacy risks to the user.”2 Krause explains:3

“The iOS Instagram and Facebook app render all third party links and ads within their app using a custom in-app browser. This causes various risks for the user, with the host app being able to track every single interaction with external websites, from all form inputs like passwords and addresses, to every single tap.”

What this means is that, without your consent, when you click on a link to an external website from, for instance, the Instagram app, Instagram injects a JavaScript code that allows them to monitor every button or link you tap, text you select, screenshots you take and anything you input into the site. This also occurs if you click on an advertisement in the app.4 According to Krause:5

“With 1 billion active Instagram users, the amount of data Instagram can collect by injecting the tracking code into every third party website opened from the Instagram & Facebook app is a staggering amount. With web browsers and iOS adding more and more privacy controls into the user’s hands, it becomes clear why Instagram is interested in monitoring all web traffic of external websites.”

In an updated report, Krause also warns that TikTok is monitoring all keyboard inputs and taps from their app:6

“When you open any link on the TikTok iOS app, it’s opened inside their in-app browser. While you are interacting with the website, TikTok subscribes to all keyboard inputs (including passwords, credit card information, etc.) and every tap on the screen, like which buttons and links you click.

TikTok iOS subscribes to every keystroke (text inputs) happening on third party websites rendered inside the TikTok app. This can include passwords, credit card information and other sensitive user data … We can’t know what TikTok uses the subscription for, but from a technical perspective, this is the equivalent of installing a keylogger on third party websites.

TikTok iOS subscribes to every tap on any button, link, image or other component on websites rendered inside the TikTok app. TikTok iOS uses a JavaScript function to get details about the element the user clicked on, like an image.”

In a response to Forbes, TikTok confirmed that the features to track users do exist in their code, though they denied using them.7 Krause also points out that just because an app puts the code into external websites, it doesn’t mean that it’s doing anything malicious with it. “There is no way for us to know the full details on what kind of data each in-app browser collects, or how or if the data is being transferred or used,” he says.8

Speaking with The Guardian, TikTok again denied any wrongdoing with their invasive JavaScript code, stating, “Contrary to the report’s claims, we do not collect keystroke or text inputs through this code, which is solely used for debugging, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.”9

Still, the simple fact that the code exists is a red flag, and hints at the massive amount of data that could be collected about you every time you browse the web. Krause notes:10

“Installing a keylogger is obviously a huge thing … according to TikTok it’s disabled at the moment. The problem is they do have the infrastructure and the systems in place to be able to track all these keystrokes … that on its own is a huge problem. The fact that they have this system already is a huge risk for every user.”

When comparing several iOS apps, including Amazon, Facebook Messenger and Robinhood, only TikTok neglected to offer users an option to switch from in-app browsing to using an external browser when viewing third-party sites. Overall, Uri Gal, professor of business information systems at the University of Sydney, told The Guardian:11

“TikTok had the most extensive surveillance capabilities. Many people who use the app are unaware of the surveillance conducted about them within [it]. The user base of TikTok is by far younger than Facebook’s and Instagram’s … that makes them much more vulnerable.”

Gal also pointed out that TikTok’s parent company is ByteDance, which has ties to the Chinese Communist party. This means the app’s surveillance capabilities could potentially “gather as much information as possible for industrial espionage purposes, and shaping public opinion that is more toward their interests.”12

A report from cybersecurity company Internet 2.0 confirmed TikTok’s “excessive data collection” and that the app “connects to mainland China-based infrastructure.”13 While Instagram and Facebook are also guilty of collecting data, Gal noted that TikTok also poses a unique national security threat due to its ties to China.

“Their [Instagram and Facebook’s] primary motivation is almost purely commercial and financial,” he said, “whereas with TikTok, there is a national security element that I don’t think is directly present with the others.”14

A lot is going on behind the scenes when you browse the web, even when you assume you’re in a more protected area, such as a hospital website or a password-protected health information portal like MyChart.15 Facebook, for instance, may be collecting sensitive health data via pixels, which may be installed on websites you visit without your knowledge.

They can collect information about you as you browse the web, even if you don’t have a Facebook account. The Meta Pixel is a piece of JavaScript code that developers can add to their website to track visitor activity.16 According to Meta:17

“It works by loading a small library of functions which you can use whenever a site visitor takes an action (called an event) that you want to track (called a conversion). Tracked conversions appear in the Ads Manager where they can be used to measure the effectiveness of your ads, to define custom audiences for ad targeting, for dynamic ads campaigns, and to analyze that effectiveness of your website’s conversion funnels.”

An investigation by The Markup tested websites from Newsweek’s top 100 U.S. hospitals. Facebook’s Meta Pixel was found on 33 of the websites, sending Facebook information linked to an IP address, which identifies individual computers and may be traceable back to an individual or household.

The pixel tracks not only the IP address of the computer being used but also what doctors are searched for and search terms added to search boxes or selected from dropdown menus. The Markup reported:18

“On the website of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, for example, clicking the “Schedule Online” button on a doctor’s page prompted the Meta Pixel to send Facebook the text of the button, the doctor’s name, and the search term we used to find her: “pregnancy termination.”

Clicking the “Schedule Online Now” button for a doctor on the website of Froedtert Hospital, in Wisconsin, prompted the Meta Pixel to send Facebook the text of the button, the doctor’s name, and the condition we selected from a dropdown menu: “Alzheimer’s.””

The data you’re accessing when using password-protected patient portals may also be sent to Facebook via pixels. The Markup found the Meta Pixel in patient portals from seven health systems, including Edward-Elmhurst Health, FastMed, Novant Health and Community Health Network.

Data being collected included names of medications being taken, descriptions of allergic reactions and upcoming doctor’s appointments.19 Novant Health, which removed the pixel after being contacted by The Markup, stated, “We appreciate you reaching out to us and sharing this information. Our Meta pixel placement is guided by a third party vendor and it has been removed while we continue to look into this matter.”20

The lesson to be learned is that no matter what app you’re using, you should assume that someone, or some entity, may be watching you. It’s important to remember that the internet was built by the government as a tool to spy on citizens. If you’re interested in learning more about the little-known beginnings of the internet, I encourage you to read the book “Surveillance Valley: The Secret Military History of the Internet,” by Yasha Levine.21

Levine, an investigative journalist, reveals that the internet began in the Vietnam era and was used to spy on guerrilla fighters and antiwar protestors, “a military computer networking project that ultimately envisioned the creation of a global system of surveillance and prediction.” However, the military surveillance objectives that underpinned the internet’s development are still in force today.22

The end result, as society becomes increasingly digitalized, is that it’s difficult to maintain your privacy online, no matter what website or app you’re using. There do, however, appear to be some particularly egregious offenders — TikTok and YouTube among them. Research by URL Genius23 looked into 200 apps from 20 different categories, revealing extensive data tracking from most apps, even with very limited app usage.

Further, the tracking may continue on other sites, even after you’re no longer using the app.24 The average number of network contacts per app was six, but this increased to 14 with YouTube and TikTok, although the actual numbers are likely even higher for users who are logged into the apps.

Out of YouTube’s trackers, four were from third-party domains — outside parties collecting information and user activities. On TikTok, 13 of the 14 network contacts were from third parties.25 As noted by URL Genius:26

“Consumers who have not granted permission to be tracked will be alarmed by the number of 3rd party networks contacted by apps — even with minimal app use. Consumers are currently unable to see what data is shared with 3rd party networks, or how their data will be used … Consumers do not currently have the ability to disable potential trackers — their options are either use the app or not.”

Krause developed a security tool — InAppBrowser.com27 — to help reveal what apps are tracking when you’re using their in-app browsers,28 but the safe assumption is, a lot. To take back some of your online privacy, for yourself as well as your children, you can avoid YouTube and TikTok entirely, and try these tips as well:29

  1. Get rid of Gmail. If you have a Gmail account, try a non-Google email service instead such as ProtonMail, an encrypted email service based in Switzerland.

  2. Uninstall Google Chrome and use Brave browser instead, available for all computers and mobile devices. It blocks ads and protects your privacy.

  3. Switch search engines. Try Brave search engine instead.

  4. Avoid Android. Google phones and phones that use Android track virtually everything you do and do not protect your privacy. It’s possible to de-Google your cellphone by getting an Android phone that doesn’t have a Google operating system, but you’ll need to find a skilled IT person who can reformat your cellphone’s hard drive.

  5. Avoid Google Home devices. If you have Google Home smart speakers or the Google Assistant smartphone app, there’s a chance people are listening to your requests, and even may be listening when you wouldn’t expect.

  6. Clear cache and cookies. This will help get rid of invasive computer codes that track what you do online.

  7. Use a proxy or VPN (Virtual Private Network). This service creates a buffer between you and the internet, “fooling many of the surveillance companies into thinking you’re not really you.”

Vaccine mandate for public employees still in effect in NYC, unvaccinated municipal workers continue to get fired

Image: Vaccine mandate for public employees still in effect in NYC, unvaccinated municipal workers continue to get fired

(Natural News) The Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine mandate for municipal workers in New York City (NYC) continues to be in place, with authorities in the Big Apple continuing the termination of workers refusing the COVID-19 clot shot.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams said back in September 2022 that vaccine mandate for private companies would be lifted by Nov. 1, 2022 as a sign of the city’s gradual return to pre-pandemic norms. However, public employees continue to be bound by the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Adams remarked that proof of vaccination is still required for municipal workers – including police officers, firefighters and teachers.

In line with this, the Big Apple has continued laying off hundreds of municipal workers turning down the injections. Just recently, 850 teachers and aides found themselves jobless for noncompliance with the vaccine mandates. This brought the total of fired employees from the education sector to almost 2,000, according to the New York Post.

As of September 2022, NYC has fired more than 1,700 city employees – including 36 police officers and 24 firefighters – for noncompliance with the vaccine mandate.

“We are in a steady phase of pivot and shift. We do things, we roll things out slowly. Right now, that is not on the radar for us,” Adams said, referring to lifting the mandate for government employees.

NYC vaccine mandate being challenged in court

The Big Apple’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate continues to be opposed in court, with unfairly terminated workers filing lawsuits that seek the edict’s scrapping.

Brighteon.TV

In one case filed by the Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York (PBA), New York State Supreme Court Justice Lyle Frank ruled the vaccine mandate to be invalid “to the extent it has been used to impose a new condition of employment of current PBA members.” He justified his ruling as “based on the grounds that the city did not collectively bargain with the union over it. (Related: NY Supreme Court justice rules that COVID vaccine mandate for NYC cops is INVALID.)

PBA President Patrick Lynch earlier argued that the vaccine mandate violated NYC’s charter and administrative code. He also accused the city’s health commissioner of “exceeding their authority when ordering the mandate.”

“We will continue to fight to protect those rights,” he said, adding that the union’s fight against the mandate isn’t finished yet as city authorities filed an immediate notice of appeal – effectively putting the justice’s decision on ice.

Anthony Marciano, a former detective from the New York City Police Department (NYPD), also filed a lawsuit against the mandate in the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) after his request for a religious exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine was denied. Even though Marciano is unvaccinated, he possesses natural immunity from COVID-19 following a bout with the disease that he subsequently recovered from.

His petition was initially rejected by liberal SCOTUS Justice Sonia Sotomayor, but later granted by conservative SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas. At least five magistrates on the high court decided not to grant an injunction, as per the Epoch Times. The SCOTUS did not explain why Marciano’s request was rejected.

According to Patricia Finn, the detective’s lawyer, they still intend to pursue their lawsuit even though the New York State Supreme Courts’ ruling may have rendered the lack of an injunction moot.

“We will continue in the Second Circuit with the case and move our way up the ladder again if needed,” she said. “We are optimistic about moving forward and expect to reach the Supreme Court in the near future and obtain a favorable ruling.”

Mississippi River drought wreaks havoc across America's supply chains

Image: Mississippi River drought wreaks havoc across America’s supply chains

(Natural News) Drought conditions all along the Mississippi River are causing barges and other ships to get stuck at certain junctions of the river, clogging up a critical artery in the American supply chain.

The low water is caused by a lack of rain in the Ohio River Valley and the Upper Mississippi. It has halted commercial traffic and riverboat cruises at numerous parts of the river below Illinois. The cost of shipping goods using the river has more than doubled in recent weeks. Barges are hitting sandbars in numbers not seen in recent history. Many ports and docks are at parts of the river too low for boats to safely reach them. (Related: Massive bean piles appearing along Mississippi River as barges can’t navigate shrinking river.)

Around 500 million tons of supplies are delivered along the Mississippi River every year. The trade value of these products is estimated to be worth more than $130 billion, according to the Port of New Orleans. Most of these products are agricultural in nature, like corn and soybeans.

“America is going to shut down if we shut down,” said Mike Ellis, chief executive officer of American Commercial Barge Line LLC. He said the Mississippi River watershed has recently been hit two to three times daily by breakups in which a barge hit a sandbar with enough force to disconnect it from the tow that was pulling it along.

Historically, shipping goods along the river and its tributaries was less expensive than other forms of transportation. But the drought has prevented more boats and barges from transporting more goods, resulting in higher prices. The cost of sending a ton of corn, soybeans or other grain products southbound from St. Louis to southern Louisiana already reached a record-breaking $105.85 on Oct. 11. It only cost $49.88 on Sept. 27 and just $28.45 a year ago.

Brighteon.TV

The U.S. Coast Guard has already imposed restrictions on the depth that commercial boats and barges can sit in the water and how many barges tows can pull, further putting strain on prices. The Coast Guard said both actions are meant to prevent more barges and boats from getting stuck.

At one point in the first week of October, the Coast Guard reported as many as 134 vessels and over 2,000 barges being stuck in the Mississippi.

Mississippi River-based businesses desperate for rain

Lisa Parker, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Mississippi Valley Division, said they have already begun emergency dredging operations in no less than 15 points all along the river to deepen it enough for commercial traffic to resume. At least five more points along the river are also in need of dredging.

“There is no rain in sight, that is the bottom line,” said Parker. “The rivers are just bottoming out.”

“Everything north of us needs rain and it needs rain hard,” said Bertram Hayes-Davis, who operates a tour company in Vicksburg, Mississippi, which relies on tourists coming in from riverboat cruises. He warned that as many as half of the tours he has planned for November might be canceled if drought conditions persist.

Austin Golding, president of Golding Barge Line in Vicksburg, told the Wall Street Journal that the ongoing crisis “puts into question our viability and long-term dependability,” referring to the barge industry.

Ingram Barge Company, a Nashville-based transport company and one of the largest barge businesses operating on the Mississippi, recently notified customers that it was invoking force majeure for contracts destined for certain parts of the river. More disruptions to the flow of goods along one of America’s most important river arteries are expected if drought conditions persist.

Experts: Semiconductor ban accelerates severing of US-China ties

Image: Experts: Semiconductor ban accelerates severing of US-China ties

(Natural News) Experts believe America’s semiconductor ban on China has accelerated the severing of ties between the two countries.

The U.S. Department of Commerce issued the ban on Oct. 7, which put in place new export restrictions on advanced semiconductors and chip-manufacturing equipment bound for mainland China. The new rules sought to prevent the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from getting their hands on American technology and subsequently using it for their own military development.

Economics professor Chiou Jiunn-rong of Taiwan’s National Central University said the move is “very likely to form a trend” that will affect other fields. “Previously, capital was leaving China – and the next trend is technology professionals leaving China,” he noted.

Another economics professor, Tamkang University‘s Tsai Ming-fang, said the U.S. and China decoupling is “more clear and certain” thanks to the ban. He also predicted that “Taiwan factories will no longer help Chinese manufacturers, but will help more brands in democratic countries.”

Meanwhile, York University professor Shen Rongqin remarked that the Biden administration has attached great importance to technological sanctions of China from the very beginning.

“Starting from the Trump administration, now [President Joe] Biden has accelerated the trend of decoupling between China and the U.S. in semiconductor technology,” he said. Shen continued that Biden’s actions were more radical and comprehensive than many Republican lawmakers have suggested.

Brighteon.TV

“The U.S.-China decoupling is really happening,” said Li Linyi, a U.S.-based current affairs commentator.

“These measures are likely to be just the beginning for the U.S. government. If these measures are extended to other fields such as finance, biotechnology, etc., it will really become a headache for the CCP.”

New semiconductor ban extends to people

While U.S. export controls to China over the years have only been on technologies, products, companies or organizations, the Oct. 7 edict by the Commerce Department extends to individual citizens and green card holders. (Related: Russia 2nd wave attack on Ukraine now appears imminent; Biden wages ECONOMIC war against China’s semiconductor industry.)

Radio Free Asia reported that on Oct. 12 – the day the ban took effect – hundreds of Chinese-Americans working in semiconductor companies resigned from Yangtze Memory Technologies, Changxin Memory Technologies, Shanghai IC R&D Center Jiading Factory, Hefei Changxin Memory Technologies and others..

Starting from that date, American citizens will be prohibited from supporting either the development or production of integrated circuits at certain unlicensed chip companies in the communist nation. Moreover, Chinese companies included in the Commerce Department’s “entity list” would be banned from obtaining certain advanced chips for their supercomputers beginning Oct. 21.

Beijing officials quickly went on the defensive following the Commerce Department’s announcement.

Mao Ning, spokeswoman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, blasted the measures. “Out of the need to maintain its [science and technology] hegemony, the U.S. abuses export control measures to maliciously block and suppress Chinese companies,” she said.

“It will not only damage the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, but also affect American companies’ interests. By politicizing tech and trade issues and using them as a tool and weapon, the U.S. cannot hold back China’s development – but will only hurt and isolate itself when its action backfires.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said Beijing strongly opposed the U.S. export ban. They added that such a move would seriously hinder the normal economic and trade exchanges between Chinese and American firms. Moreover, the spokesperson said the ban would seriously undermine both market rules and the international economic and trade order.
