  • Loneliness has been at “epidemic” levels for several years. In a 2018 survey of Americans aged 18 and older, 46% reported “sometimes” or “always” feeling lonely

  • A World Health Organization study published in 2021 found loneliness affected up to 34% of older adults in China, Europe, Latin America and the U.S.

  • Other recent research found loneliness among adolescents ranged from a low of 9.2% in Southeast Asia to a high of 14.4% in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The highest rate — 21% — was found among elderly Eastern Europeans

  • Scientists have linked loneliness with a greater risk for obesity, heart disease, anxiety, dementia, stress, inflammation, reduced immune function, poor sleep and premature death

  • Loneliness is also associated with a greater risk of addiction, and the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% in 2020, the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home. Loneliness has been at “epidemic” levels for several years now. In a 2018 Cigna insurance health survey

of 20,000 Americans aged 18 and older, a whopping 46% reported “sometimes” or “always” feeling lonely. More recent studies cited by El Pais

include a World Health Organization paper from 2021, which found loneliness affected up to 34% of older adults in China, Europe, Latin America and the U.S.

Other recent research found loneliness among adolescents ranged from a low of 9.2% in Southeast Asia to a high of 14.4% in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The highest rate — 21% — was found among elderly Eastern Europeans.

While loneliness statistics can be difficult to pin down, the effects of loneliness are well-recognized at this point. Dr. Facundo Manes, a neurologist, neuroscientist and founder of the Neurological Cognitive Institute in Argentina, likens feelings of loneliness to “a biological alarm bell that reminds us that we are social beings,”

and when this alarm goes off, disease processes are set into motion. Scientists have linked loneliness with a greater risk for:

  • Obesity

  • Heart disease

  • Anxiety

  • Dementia

  • Higher levels of perceived stress

  • Inflammation

  • Reduced immune function

  • Poor sleep

A 2011 study

found that for each 1-point increase on the UCLA loneliness scale,

an individual is 8% more likely to experience some sort of sleep disruption. Research

has also shown that lack of sleep has the effect of triggering feelings of loneliness, so the two problems tend to feed on each other.

Loneliness is also strongly linked to reduced life span.

One 2015 meta-review

concluded loneliness can raise your risk of dying by as much as 30%. Older adults are also more likely to die within 30 days of emergency surgery when loneliness is a factor.

On the other side of the coin, maintaining strong and healthy social connections has been linked to a 50% reduced risk of early death.

As reported by El Pais:

“María Rosa Fernández, president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology’s Vascular Risk and Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation Association, explains that cardiologists are so conscious of the negative impacts of loneliness that they immediately ask patients who have suffered serious heart problems like a heart attack about their psychosocial support.

‘It’s fundamental. A patient who has suffered a serious cardiac episode and lives alone is more likely to experience similar problems again. A person without sufficient family support is also more at risk of developing heart failure,’ said Fernández …

Experts acknowledge that we still lack a clear understanding of how loneliness affects disease. But some specialists describe it as a continuous and vicious cycle.

One theory is that loneliness triggers a neuroendocrine response. ‘People who feel lonely or who are considered to be socially isolated may show elevated activity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, an increased response to chronic stress, elevated blood pressure and high blood cortisol levels,’ stated a British study published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.

The elevated levels of these physiological mechanisms are linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and death. It all makes sense, says Fernández. ‘The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis is activated in stressful situations and loneliness causes stress.’ But she also notes the significant influence of a person’s lifestyle.

‘All social and psychosocial factors have an impact on cardiovascular health. The exact cause is not known, but not all lifestyles are the same. Someone who lives as a couple or in a family has less cardiovascular risk. Human beings are made to live in groups and in the company of others.'”

Not surprisingly, social distancing rules and lockdowns imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic have only worsened already epidemic levels of loneliness, especially among children. School closures have varied in length depending on location, but overall, children as a group have all missed out on socialization to some degree over the past three years.

Loneliness, social isolation and related depression and anxiety have all been cited as likely outcomes of school closures,

driving some children with preexisting mental health issues “over the edge.”

One-third of U.S. parents surveyed said their child became more sad, depressed or lonely during the pandemic.

Learning deficits have also skyrocketed. Prior to the pandemic, 57% of 10-year-olds in low and middle-income countries could not read properly. By mid-2022, that number had increased to 70%, thanks to extended school closures. In Latin America, 10-year-olds unable to read rose from 50% to 80%, and the effects could be lifelong, leading to $21 trillion lost due to lower lifetime earnings.

Meanwhile, data show the suffering health officials and school administrators have put children through was all in vain, as the school closures had no effect on the spread of COVID-19 or COVID mortality.

Mask mandates have also taken a tragic toll on children, resulting in higher levels of psychological and behavioral issues including irritability, difficulty concentrating and impaired learning. A German study

published in February 2021 revealed the kinds of issues children were experiencing as a result of wearing face masks for an average of 270 minutes per day.

In all, 24 health issues were associated with wearing masks that fell into the categories of physical, psychological and behavioral issues. As reported by the authors:

“… an online registry has been set up where parents, doctors, pedagogues and others can enter their observations. On 20 October 2020, 363 doctors were asked to make entries and to make parents and teachers aware of the registry.

By 26 October 2020, a total of 20,353 people had taken part in the survey. The group of parents alone entered data on a total of 25,930 children …

Of the respondents 68% reported that children complained about impairments caused by wearing the mask. Side effects included irritability (60%), headache (53%), difficulty concentrating (50%), less happiness (49%), reluctance to go to school/kindergarten (44%), malaise (42%) impaired learning (38%) and drowsiness/fatigue (37%).”

Any sensible human being can recognize that isolating children at home for months on end will have dire ramifications for both physical and mental health. Yet school administrators, health officials and government leaders around the world ignored the basics of psychology and threw caution to the wind.

As a result of their decisions, our children may pay a lifelong price, and for all we know, that may have been the intention all along. After all, loneliness and lack of social bonding are two of the foundational parameters needed to induce mass formation in the public sphere.

Mass formation, in turn, is a psychological state that allows tyrants to implement authoritarian control, and we now know this is precisely what the globalist cabal is trying to do. As explained by professor of psychology Mattias Desmet, mass formation is a form of collective hypnosis that make people sacrifice their freedom willingly.

Considering the globalist cabal has been working toward the implementation of a one world government for many decades, and the fact that its plans span even more decades into the future, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that they intentionally wanted to make an entire generation psychologically primed to accept totalitarianism.

Aside from ill health, mental health problems and a higher mortality risk, loneliness is also associated with a greater risk of addiction to cigarettes, drugs and/or alcohol. As noted in the 1992 scientific review “Loneliness and Alcohol Abuse: A Review of Evidences of an Interplay”:

“… loneliness may be significant at all stages in the course of alcoholism: as a contributing and maintaining factor in the growth of abuse and as an encumbrance in attempts to give it up.

Concordant reports demonstrate that alcoholics do feel more lonely than members of most other groups do. In advanced abusers, loneliness is obviously connected with a number of negative characteristics and, together with several of those, directly linked to a poor prognosis.”

Indeed, previous research

found “feeling of loneliness” was the most important factor influencing the prognosis of advanced alcohol abusers. The American Addiction Centers also stresses that isolation is a barrier to getting and staying sober.

“Loneliness is also associated with a greater risk of addiction, and the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% in 2020, the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home.”

It’s not surprising then that deaths attributed to excessive alcohol consumption in the U.S. started trending upward in tandem with COVID restrictions.

Between 2015 and 2019, 1 in 5 deaths (20.3%) in the 20- to 49-year age group was already related to excessive alcohol intake,

and data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% (25.4%) in 2020,

the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home.

The trend continued into 2021, by then up 34% from prepandemic levels.

Clearly, designating liquor stores as an “essential business” during the pandemic was not in the best interests of public health.

alcohol-related deaths increase during the pandemic

Loneliness often leads to anxiety, depression and other mental health problems, which are then treated with antidepressant drugs, and several studies have confirmed that antidepressant prescriptions have skyrocketed since the pandemic began.

In Italy, monthly antidepressant use during 2020 was on average 20% higher compared to historical averages from 2015 through 2019. During the first four and last two months of 2020, the average use was 30% higher than the previous norm.

Research from the U.K. found antidepressant prescriptions rose by 5.1% between 2021 and 2022.

Antidepressant use among children under the age of 17 shot up by 9.2%. In all, 14.7% of Britons, some 56.5 million people, were on antidepressants during those two years.

A study

that looked at prescription rates among Israelis found the pandemic was “associated with a significant increase in the slope of the incident rate of antidepressant fills.”

By comparing actual prescription fills with models that estimated what the antidepressant use would have been, had there been no pandemic, they estimate the pandemic was responsible for a 2% rise in the average monthly prescription rate.

Dr. Irving Kirsch on 60 Minutes Proving Placebos Work as Good or Better than Pharmaceutical Drugs

Unfortunately, antidepressants often do more harm than good. Not only do they not work in most cases, they also come with a long laundry list of potential side effects. The reason these drugs are so frequently used in lieu of other interventions seems to have more to do with inertia than anything else, meaning psychiatrists are used to prescribing them and slow to embrace other techniques that require more time and effort.

It’s certainly not because antidepressants have been proven to work the best. Far from it! On the contrary, studies have repeatedly demonstrated that placebos work as well or better than antidepressants. In the “60 Minutes” segment above, which originally aired in 2012, Dr. Irving Kirsch reviews this evidence.

According to Kirsch, who is the associate director of the Placebo Studies Program at Harvard Medical School, while many do appear to get better when taking an antidepressant, the response is not due to the chemicals in the drug, it’s due to the placebo effect — the sheer expectation of healing.

Taking a sugar pill would provide the same effect, and typically does. In fact, the difference between the two is clinically insignificant. And not only that: Kirsch, to his surprise, discovered it didn’t matter what drug was given. Virtually any drug tested against antidepressants provided the same amount of relief.

The only time you see a clinical difference, Kirsch says, is in the most extreme levels of depression. In those cases antidepressants outperform placebo, but in mild to moderate depression, which is what afflicts a majority of patients, there’s no difference.

But what about all those studies supporting the use of antidepressants? After reviewing the evidence, Kirsch discovered the trick used to skew perception. Drug makers simply buried negative studies and only published those with positive results.

Sadly, many have been fooled into thinking they need an antidepressant or other psychiatric drug, and end up struggling with problems that are far worse than the initial complaint. As reported by The Berkshire Eagle:

“‘I was repeatedly told that because I took it as prescribed that I couldn’t be dependent and that Ativan was harmless.’ Geraldine Burns, of Boston, was prescribed Ativan — one of several pills classified as benzodiazepines or “benzos” (including Xanax, Valium and Klonopin) often prescribed to treat anxiety and insomnia — after the birth of her second child in 1988.

She had complained of a ‘heavy feeling’ and was given Ativan in the hospital. She was referred to a psychiatrist who prescribed Ativan to be taken regularly. She began to experience anxiety, agoraphobia and panic attacks — all which she had never had before.

Burns would soon stumble upon an article in a magazine that described her initial complaints of a ‘heavy feeling’ as being symptoms of a uterine infection that commonly happens after childbirth. Antibiotics cleared up the infection and the heavy feeling, but Burns remained on Ativan, as prescribed by her psychiatrist.

Over the next nine years, her prescription dosage would increase and so would her medical issues. She would be prescribed antidepressants and numerous other drugs to treat her growing list of ailments …”

Burns’ story is one of several featured in Holly Hardman’s film “As Prescribed.” Burns became addicted to Ativan and struggled for years to get off it. As a result of her experiences.

Burns became a patient advocate and a driving force behind a new bill in Massachusetts that would require doctors to inform patients about the risks of long-term use of benzodiazepines and non-benzodiazepine hypnotics before prescribing them. The bill also requires the establishment of a protocol to wean patients of these drugs. During a hearing of the bill, Burns said:

“The people in this room today were all good patients. None of us took more than we were told. None of us abused them. We were told they were safe, harmless and non-addictive and that’s not true.

I called my psychiatrist and told her my symptoms when I tried to stop taking the Ativan. She told me to keep taking it, that I’d have to take it for the rest of my life and to stop questioning her.”

If you struggle with loneliness, you’re not alone. Following are several strategies, pulled from a variety of sources, that can help.

It’s important to realize that there’s no pill or potion to cure loneliness, but there are strategies that can minimize the secondary harms it can cause.

  • Join a club — Proactive approaches to meeting others include joining a club and planning get-togethers with family, friends or neighbors, Meetup.com is an online source where you can locate a vast array of local clubs and get-togethers. Many communities also have community gardens where you can benefit from the outdoors while mingling with your neighbors.

  • Learn a new skill — Consider enrolling in a class or taking an educational course.

  • Create rituals of connection — Rituals are a powerful means for reducing loneliness. Examples include having weekly talk sessions with your girlfriends and/or making meal time a special time to connect with your family without rushing.

  • Consider a digital cleanse — If your digital life has overtaken face-to-face interactions, consider taking a break from social media while taking proactive steps to meet people in person.

Research shows Facebook may be more harmful than helpful to your emotional well-being, raising your risk of depression — especially if your contacts’ posts elicit envy. In one study,

Facebook users who took a one-week break from the site reported significantly higher levels of life satisfaction and a significantly improved emotional life.

  • Make good use of digital media — For others, a phone call or text message can be a much-needed lifeline. Examples of this include sending encouraging text messages to people who are struggling with loneliness, offering support and help to live healthier lives and follow through on healthy lifestyle changes.

  • Exercise with others — Joining a gym or signing up with a fitness-directed club or team sport will create opportunities to meet people while improving your physical fitness at the same time.

  • Shop local — Routinely frequenting local shops, coffee shops or farmers markets will help you develop a sense of community and encourage the formation of relationships.

  • Talk to strangers — Talking to strangers in the store, in your neighborhood or on your daily commute is often a challenge, but can have many valuable benefits, including alleviating loneliness (your own and others’). Talking to strangers builds bridges between ordinary people who may not otherwise forge a connection.

People of the opposite gender, different walks of life or different cultures hold a key to opening up to new ideas or making connections with old ones. In this short video, reporter for The Atlantic, Dr. James Hamblin, demonstrates techniques for learning how to talk with strangers.

  • Volunteer — Volunteering is another way to increase your social interactions and pave the way for new relationships.

  • Adopt a companion pet — A dog or cat can provide unconditional love and comfort, and studies show that owning a pet can help protect against loneliness, depression and anxiety. The bond that forms between a person and a companion pet can be incredibly fulfilling and serves, in many ways, as an important and rewarding relationship. The research on this is really quite profound.

For instance, having a dog as a companion could add years to your life,

as studies have shown that owning a dog played a significant role on survival rates in heart attack victims. Studies have also revealed that people on Medicaid or Medicare who own a pet make fewer visits to the doctor.

The unconditional acceptance and love a dog gives to their owner positively impacts their owner’s emotional health in ways such as:

    • Boosting self-confidence and self-esteem

    • Helping to meet new friends and promoting communication between elderly residents and neighbors

    • Helping you cope with illness, loss and depression

    • Reducing stress levels

    • Providing a source of touch and affiliation

If you’re looking for a furry friend, check out your local animal shelter. Most are filled with cats and dogs looking for someone to love. Petfinder.com

is another excellent resource for finding a pet companion.

  • Move and/or change jobs — While the most drastic of all options, it may be part of the answer for some. To make it worthwhile, be sure to identify the environment or culture that would fit your personality best and consider proximity to longtime friends and family.

If you’re feeling depressed or anxious on a regular basis, a strategy that can provide more immediate results is the use of Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT (sometimes called “tapping”).

In the video above, Julie Schiffman demonstrates a tapping strategy to relieve anxiety and other challenging emotions. If you aren’t familiar with EFT you’ll find a library of demonstrations at “Basic Steps to Your Emotional Freedom.” Videos addressing a variety of emotional states and conditions can also be found on JulieSchiffman.com.

Another alternative is the Neuro-Emotional Technique’s First Aid Stress Tool, or NET FAST, demonstrated in the video above. Firstaidstresstool.com also provides an excellent printable summary with visuals of the technique,

which even a young child can do. Here is a summary of the FAST procedure:

  1. While thinking about an issue that is bothering you, place your right wrist, palm up, into your left hand. Place three fingers of your left hand onto the area of your right wrist where you can feel your pulse

  2. Place your open right hand on your forehead. Gently breathe in and out several times while concentrating on feeling the issue that bothers you

  3. Switch hands and repeat Steps 1 and 2

If you feel a sense of creeping despair, please reach out to family, friends or any of the available suicide prevention services:

  • The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (U.S.) — Call 988 to speak with a crisis counselor

  • Crisis Text Line — Text HOME to 741741

  • Alternatively, call 911, or simply go to your nearest Hospital Emergency Department

Can Chronic Dehydration Age You More Quickly?

can chronic dehydration age you more quickly

  • One of the simplest steps you can take to improve your health is to provide your body with optimal hydration, which reduces your risk of being biologically older than your chronological age, developing chronic diseases and dying prematurely

  • Data show participants with serum sodium levels outside the narrow range of 137 mEq/L to 142 mEq/L had a 10% to 15% higher risk of being biologically older than their chronological age. The current acceptable normal range of serum sodium is 135 mEq/L to 145 mEq/L

  • Signs you could be dehydrated include bad breath, headache, confusion, decreased alertness, sugar craving and constipation. Based on their higher body water content and smaller size, infants and children are more vulnerable to the effects of dehydration

  • Several factors affect how much water you need, including your health status, activity level, climate and your age. Don’t get bogged down in an exact amount but instead listen to your body’s signals — thirst and the color of your urine

  • Overhydration, also called water intoxication or water poisoning, leads to low sodium levels and electrolyte imbalances. This is a serious medical situation and can be life-threatening

One of the easiest steps you can take to improve your health is to provide your body with optimal hydration in the form of pure water. Researchers

found that middle-aged people whose serum sodium is higher than normal, indicating dehydration, had an increased risk of being biologically older than their chronological age, of developing chronic diseases and of dying prematurely.

This is logical since your body is made up of mostly water. An infant’s body weight is 75% water, which drops to 55% in the elderly.

Optimal water balance is essential for survival. If you become dehydrated, your body activates several hormonal and neuroregulatory mechanisms, among which are feeling thirsty to help remind you to drink water and your urine output declines.

However, this also means that the waste products excreted by the kidneys will be more concentrated. Water plays a significant role in your bodily functions, including keeping your skin healthy, eliminating toxins and facilitating digestion.

Dehydration occurs when you have lost more water than you replace. Research has demonstrated that even mild dehydration can decrease your brain tissue fluid that changes your brain volume.

It can compromise your ability to regulate temperature and makes your blood more viscous, straining your cardiovascular system.

After losing just 1% to 2% of your fluid, you’ll feel thirsty, which is your body’s way of telling you to start drinking. Mild dehydration is easily treated, but extreme dehydration can be life-threatening and requires immediate medical attention.

The researchers began with the premise that some people obviously age faster than others.

Faced with a rapidly aging population and chronic disease epidemic, they sought to find preventive measures that might slow the aging process and reduce the number of chronic illnesses and diseases in the elderly.

Using data from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities study (ARIC) and a 25-year follow-up, the researchers analyzed serum sodium as a means of estimating the hydration habits of individuals. The ARIC cohort included 15,792 black and white men and women from ages 45 to 66 years.

Since the study sought to analyze the effects of hydration that were measured through levels of serum sodium, they excluded individuals whose sodium levels may have been affected by other health factors. For example, they excluded people who were obese, had abnormal water/salt balance regulation, and whose average sodium concentration was outside the normal reference range.

They also excluded people with blood sugar higher than 140 mg/dL, since high blood sugar not only causes dehydration but also reduces serum sodium concentration.

After individuals were excluded, the researchers ended with 6,956 individuals in the cohort.

A normal serum sodium blood value is 135 milliequivalents per liter (mEq/L) to 145 mEq/L. However, while 145 mEq/L is at the high end of normal, the researchers found

those with serum sodium levels greater than 142 mEq/L had a 39% increased risk of developing chronic diseases and those with blood levels greater than 144 mEq/L had a 21% increased risk of premature mortality.

Additionally, they found when an individual’s serum sodium levels were outside the range from 137 mEq/L to 142 mEq/L, their risk of being biologically older than their chronological age was 10% to 15% higher than those whose levels were inside the range. In a statement from the NIH, study scientist Natalia Dmitrieva, Ph.D., commented:

“On the global level, this can have a big impact. Decreased body water content is the most common factor that increases serum sodium, which is why the results suggest that staying well hydrated may slow down the aging process and prevent or delay chronic disease.”

The researchers also cited data showing close to half of people worldwide do not meet the recommended water intake. Animal studies

have shown that chronic subclinical dehydration causes subtle changes in hydration levels but profound effects on long-term health.

A 2019 study

showed that even mild water restriction in mice shortened their lifespan, despite showing no signs of distress after adapting to the slightly lower water intake. During the second part of the study, the researchers analyzed human data and found a strong association between serum sodium concentration in middle age and markers of inflammation, coagulation and the development of age-dependent degenerative diseases.

It’s best to drink before you experience the signs of mild to moderate dehydration and get into a habit of staying well hydrated. Signs of mild to moderate dehydration include:

  • Dry, sticky mouth

  • Bad breath

  • Chills

  • Sleepiness or tiredness

  • Decreased alertness and fatigue

  • Dizziness or lightheadedness

  • Headache

  • Confusion

  • Constipation

  • A decline in athletic performance

  • Few or no tears when crying

  • Minimal amount of dark-colored urine

  • Dry, cool skin

  • Sugar craving

  • Muscle cramps

Based on their higher water content and smaller size, infants and children are more vulnerable to the effects of dehydration. Immediate attention should be given to infants and children if they exhibit the following symptoms:

  • Mild to moderate dehydration

    • Urinates less frequently (for infants, fewer than six wet diapers per day)

    • Plays less than usual

    • Parched, dry mouth

    • Fewer tears when crying

    • Sunken soft spot on the head (fontanelle)

    • Loose stools (if dehydration is caused by diarrhea)

  • Severe dehydration

    • Very fussy

    • Excessively sleepy

    • Sunken eyes

    • Cool, discolored hands and feet

    • Wrinkled skin

    • Urinates only once or twice a day

Interestingly, the scientists in the featured study also found that people with serum sodium levels on the low end of normal also had a higher risk of premature death.

It appears the data from this study demonstrates the range of “normal” for serum sodium levels could have a narrower and more conservative range.

Since it’s highly unlikely your serum sodium is consistently measured to determine whether or not you’re fully hydrated, it is important to know how your body tells you that you have had too much or too little water. You have probably heard the recommendation that you should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day to stay healthy. This is often stated as scientific fact, but it’s not quite that simple.

Several factors affect how much water you need, including your health status, activity level, climate and your age. A review

published in the American Journal of Physiology sought to determine the scientific validity of what is often colloquially called “8 x 8.”

The researcher could find no scientific basis for the rule and put to rest other myths regarding water consumption, such as waiting to drink until you’re thirsty is too late because by then you’re already dehydrated.

As the late Heinz Valtin, professor of physiology who spent for decades studying biological mechanisms that regulate the balance of water in our bodies, wrote, “… thirst is so sensitive, quick and accurate that it is hard to imagine that evolutionary development left us with a chronic water deficit that has to be compensated by forcing fluid intake.”

Ultimately, you do not need to get bogged down trying to figure out the exact amount of water your body needs or tracking how many glasses you’ve drunk that day. Your body will let you know when you need more water.

Two indicators are your thirst and the color of your urine. Thirst helps ensure your needs are met on a day-to-day basis. The color of your urine can also be used as a guide. While your urine color can be influenced by medication or supplements, overall, if it’s a deep dark yellow, you are likely not drinking enough water.

Adequate hydration is indicated by pale, straw-colored or light-yellow urine. Most healthy individuals urinate on average seven to eight times each day. If you aren’t urinating at least every 2 to 3 hours while you’re awake, it may indicate that you’re not drinking enough.

Your body requires a water balance. In other words, you can drink too little water, but you can also drink too much water. While overhydration is rarely a problem for healthy people, it can cause a serious electrolyte imbalance that can become life-threatening. When you listen to your body’s signals, you’ll likely stay in a healthy range.

Overhydration is also called water intoxication or water poisoning. The greatest risk is from hyponatremia, or a dilution of sodium in the blood. When sodium levels fall below 135 mEq/L, fluid moves inside the cells,

including the brain.

This is called cerebral edema and it increases the pressure inside the skull causing symptoms that include headaches, nausea and vomiting. Other symptoms of water intoxication can include increased blood pressure, double vision, confusion and drowsiness.

Water intoxication has led to the death of students during fraternity hazing

and one participant in a radio contest in California where the prize went to the person who could drink the most water before urinating.

However, it’s important to remember that these were uncommon situations that most people don’t experience.

Some medical situations rarely result in hyponatremia, including case studies of individuals who experienced hyponatremia and water intoxication during oral bowel preparation for a colonoscopy

or during labor stimulation with oxytocin.

Water intoxication can also be the result of primary or psychogenic polydipsia, which is the term used to describe excessive thirst or an abnormal urge to drink fluids.

Polydipsia can be a sign of Type 2 diabetes, which leads to excessive thirst and urination.

Other conditions related to polydipsia are diabetes insipidus, low blood potassium and cystic disease, which is a condition in which cysts develop on or around your kidneys.

Psychogenic polydipsia is a mental health disorder that is associated with anxiety and schizophrenia. Medical conditions, such as liver failure, kidney failure, burns and sepsis can result in the loss of bodily fluids and lead to polydipsia.

COVID Advances New World Order — The Empire of Billionaires

united nations and new world order

  • In March, the United Nations New World Order (UNNWO) announced its annual International Day of Happiness global campaign, along with a call for solidarity and unity in the global fight against COVID-19

  • The UNNWO goals, such as ending poverty, hunger, gender inequality and polluted water, sound admirable, but are just pawns used to further a one-world government regime with power concentrated in the hands of a few billionaires

  • A one-world government tactic that New World Order relies on is media censorship, which the liberal “fact-checking” group Media Matters is now advocating for anyone who doesn’t align with the New World Order mission

  • The World Health Organization, whose biggest funders include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, aims to vaccinate everyone across the globe by 2030 and to track who has and has not been vaccinated

Since COVID-19 first entered the scene, exchange of ideas has basically been outlawed. By sharing my views and those from various experts throughout the pandemic on COVID treatments and the experimental COVID jabs, I became a main target of the White House, the political establishment and the global cabal.

Propaganda and pervasive censorship have been deployed to seize control over every part of your life, including your health, finances and food supply. The major media is a key player and has been instrumental in creating and fueling fear.

I am republishing this article in its original form so that you can see how the progression unfolded.

Originally published: 07/28/2020

The COVID-19 pandemic is being used to facilitate the efforts of a select few to create a one-world government with power concentrated in the hands of an elitist group of billionaires.

In March 2020, the United Nations New World Order (UNNWO) announced their annual International Day of Happiness global campaign, along with a call for solidarity and unity in the global fight against COVID-19.

The campaign theme, according to UNNWO, was:

“… a call on all 7.8 billion members of the global human family, and all 206 nations and territories of planet earth, to unite in solidarity, and steadfast resolve, in fighting back against the COVID 19 Coronavirus …”

While the UNNWO sustainability goals, such as addressing poverty, hunger, polluted waterways, and more, sound admirable,

they rely on one-world government manipulations such as media censorship, mass surveillance of citizens and total governmental control of your health care decisions, as I will explain in detail in this article.

One clear example of the dangers of one-world initiatives is the World Health Organization’s Immunization Agenda 2030, in which the aim is to vaccinate everyone across the globe.

Bill Gates of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a big WHO funder, has stated he intends to vaccinate the global population against COVID-19,

and then track and monitor each person through digital surveillance.

The Rockefeller Foundation also supports mass-tracking of the citizenry — all under the guise of “public health.”

The reasoning for this is to stop the pandemic.

But, will a gigantic global disease surveillance system created under the pretext of COVID-19 be dismantled once the pandemic is declared over? Or, will it simply morph into other surveillance functions also presented as mechanisms to protect the “public health?”

As the COVID-19 pandemic passed its six-month mark and the number of reported cases in some countries and states rose, the focus on a vaccine intensified, with numerous vaccine makers vying to be first with results.

That distinction came in mid-July, when the initial results from a clinical trial of a vaccine candidate developed by Moderna, sponsored by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, received a positive write-up in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM)

and pleased Wall Street.

What’s interesting is that Moderna has “never produced an approved vaccine or run a large trial,” according to Stat News. Yet, it seized the COVID-19 opportunity

and forged ahead. When you think about it, though, the exuberance over the vaccine candidate is irrational.

First, as with all vaccines, adverse effects can and will sometimes occur. Even fiercely pro-vaccine advocates have expressed concerns about possible adverse effects of a hurried-up COVID-19 vaccine.

From Bill Gates

(more on that later in this article) to Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier,

to rotavirus vaccine inventor Dr. Paul Offit

— who once held the Merck-endowed chair in vaccinology

at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia — high-profile individuals are talking about it.

Offit expressed reservations about how fast the vaccine companies were pushing development of the vaccine, and warned of possible safety and efficacy problems that could occur from giving it to thousands of people “without a large safety and efficacy trial.”

Frazier had similar concerns, with a more strongly-worded comment: “If you’re going to use a vaccine on billions of people, you better know what that vaccine does.” Along that same line of thinking is the concern — as with all vaccines — that the immunity and/or duration is not assured because the “immunity” is not naturally acquired.

Another concern is that contact tracing and computer apps to determine the whereabouts and contacts of a person who may have been exposed are much too aggressive. For example, even if someone has no symptoms of COVID-19, governments, whether local or national, will have the ability to quarantine a person against their will, according to a YouTuber who recounts her contact tracing training in a video.

Moreover, according to top legal scholar Alan Dershowitz,

a 115-year-old U.S. Supreme Court ruling allows authorities to legally inoculate someone with a vaccine against their will for the purpose of safeguarding public health. On the other hand, they cannot do so if the vaccine is intended only to protect a person’s personal health, he says.

While other legal scholars debate just how far the federal government can go with this,

such threats to your rights and health continue to grow. And, certain media groups, who should be supporters of free speech, are leading the charge to take away your free speech rights. Standing at the forefront, the liberal “fact-checking” group Media Matters is trying to discredit vaccine safety groups who they believe could stand in the way of worldwide vaccination.

A smear piece from Media Matters, titled “The Most Notorious Anti-Vax Groups Use Facebook to Lay the Groundwork Against the Novel Coronavirus Vaccine,”

lays the groundwork for discrediting the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), Children’s Health Defense and Informed Consent Action Network. The article begins by casting such groups as a threat during COVID-19:

“As novel coronavirus cases spike in the U.S. and numerous efforts are underway to develop a vaccine, the most prominent U.S. anti-vaccination organizations are using Facebook and other social media platforms to poison the well against a potential vaccine.”

Media Matters is angry that Facebook allows the groups’ social media communications to appear educational rather than branding them as “vaccine misinformation.” This is especially important, writes Media Matters, because support for vaccination among the general public is falling:

“Support in the U.S. for vaccination generally has been on a downward trend for the past two decades. A January 2020 poll released by Gallup found that 84% of Americans believe it is ‘important’ to vaccinate children, down from 94% in 2001.

The poll found that support for vaccination has declined ‘among almost all subgroups of the U.S. public.’ Gallup attributed the decline in support for vaccination to the spread of false information about vaccines, in particular the debunked link between vaccines and autism.”

Media Matters cites a 2014 study published in the journal Pediatrics

that identified four ways in which the desirability of vaccination is promoted and how none of the messages is working. The four attempts to “reduce vaccine misperceptions and increase vaccination rates for measles-mumps-rubella (MMR)” were listed by the journal as:

  • Information explaining the lack of evidence that MMR causes autism from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • Textual information about the dangers of the diseases prevented by MMR from the Vaccine Information Statement

  • Images of children who have diseases prevented by the MMR vaccine

  • A dramatic narrative about an infant who almost died of measles from a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention fact sheet

However, the messages are not working and possibly even backfiring, says Media Matters.

[And] “… attempts to ‘correct false claims about vaccines may be especially likely to be counterproductive.'”

The messages likely backfire because Big Pharma and its buddy, Big Biotech, suffer from a credibility problem — in the case of Big Pharma, from the many medications it has withdrawn after assuring the public they were safe.

Moreover, “anti-vaccination content” — as Media Matters calls it — may be more compelling than messages designed to sell vaccination:

“Another negative factor in play at Facebook and other social media outlets is that research suggests that anti-vaccination content tends to be more popular than pro-vaccine content and anti-vaccine messages …”

The messages are also likely ringing stronger with younger people who tend to be the biggest users of social media, Media Matters admits:

“According to a report from Center for Countering Digital Hate … Americans who ‘use social media more than traditional media to access news and updates about Covid’ say that they will get vaccinated against coronavirus at a rate 10 points lower compared to those who primarily consume traditional media.”

Media Matters’ initial $2 million in funding came from wealthy progressives via the Tides Foundation,

with additional funding from MoveOn.org and the New Democrat Network, according to National Review.

In 2010, George Soros, one of the richest people in the world, gave the group $1 million, according to The New York Times.

The self-proclaimed “fact checking group,” founded by conservative-turned-progressive David Brock,

states that its mission is to counteract conservative media, and it has been very successful. According to the Daily Caller:

“The group scored its first significant public coup in 2007 with the firing of host Don Imus from MSNBC. Just before Easter that year, a Media Matters employee recorded Imus’s now-famous attack on the Rutgers women’s basketball team, and immediately recognized its inflammatory potential.

The organization swung into action, notifying organizations like the NAACP, the National Association of Black Journalists, and Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, all of which joined the fight … By the end of the week, Imus was fired.”

Media Matters then enlisted the National Hispanic Media Coalition, League of United Latin American Citizens and similar groups to pressure CNN advertisers to oust anchor Lou Dobbs from CNN for alleged racist comments.

In November 2009, Dobbs left CNN, and the Daily Caller quotes a Media Matters staffer who said, “We got him fired.”

Media Matters also launched what they dubbed a “campaign to expose Glenn Beck’s racist rhetoric in an effort to educate advertisers about the practices on his show.” The campaign facilitated his departure from Fox News.

Media Matters is also able to place their biased stories in mainstream outlets as real news. According to the Daily Caller, sources from the organization bragged about planting stories in The Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times and on blogs such as the Daily Kos, Salon and HuffPost. They also reported a warm reception at The New York Times:

“Jim Rainey at the LA Times took a lot of our stuff,” the staffer continued. “So did Joe Garofoli at the San Francisco Chronicle. We’ve pushed stories to Eugene Robinson and E.J. Dionne [at the Washington Post]. Brian Stelter at the New York Times was helpful.

Ben Smith [formerly of Politico, now at BuzzFeed.com] will take stories and write what you want him to write,” explained the former employee, whose account was confirmed by other sources. Staffers at Media Matters “knew they could dump stuff to Ben Smith, they knew they could dump it at Plum Line [Greg Sargent’s Washington Post blog], so that’s where they sent it.”

As described by Sharyl Attkisson, the impact of Media Matters is of concern to everyone:

“The problem is, too many news organizations and even journalism groups such as Poynter use Media Matters and their affiliates as if they are legitimate news sources. They are either unforgivably ignorant of Media Matters’ slants — or choose to keep readers in the dark because they agree with the slant.

One major interest Media Matters and its affiliates have served over the years is that of the pharmaceutical industry. They often smear scientists and journalists who report on prescription drug and vaccine safety issues, falsely labelling them as ‘anti-vaccine.’ Of course, that’s like saying that because I broke news about problems with Firestone tires, I am ‘anti-tire,’ or because I have exposed fraud within charities, I am ‘anti-charity.’ Silly.”

Forbes compiled a list of 10 health care billionaires who have profited since COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic. Topping the list was Stéphane Bancel, CEO of Moderna, whose vaccine candidate trial results were published by NEJM.

According to Forbes:

“When the WHO declared a pandemic, Bancel’s estimated net worth was some $720 million. Since then, Moderna’s stock has rallied more than 103%, lifting his fortune to an estimated $1.5 billion. A French citizen, Bancel first joined the billionaire ranks on April 2, when Moderna’s stock rose on the news that the firm was planning to begin phase two trials of its vaccine.”

Bancel is far from the only person who has become a “biotech billionaire” thanks to the lucrative development of COVID-19 vaccines, treatments and diagnostic tools solicited by governments and funded by taxpayers. Others include:

1. Gustavo Denegri — With a net worth of $4.5 billion, Denegri has a 45% stake in the Italian biotech company DiaSorin.

2. Seo Jung-Jin — With a net worth of $8.4 billion, Jung-Jin co-founded Celltrion, a biopharma company in Seoul.

3. Alain Mérieux — With a net worth of $7.6 billion, Mérieux’s grandfather founded BioMérieux, a French multinational biotech company.

4. Maja Oeri — With a net worth of $3.2 billion, Oeri is a descendent of Fritz Hoffmann-La Roche, the founder of pharmaceutical giant Roche and owns about 5% of Roche’s shares.

5. Leonard Schleifer — With a net worth of $2.2 billion, Schleifer’s wealth is attributed to Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, which he co-founded.

6. George Yancopoulos — With a net worth of $1.2 billion, Yancopoulos is Regeneron’s chief scientific officer.

7. and 8. Thomas and Andreas Struengmann — With a net worth of $6.9 billion, the Struengmann twins sold their generic drug company Hexal to Novartis in 2005 and have other biotech investments.

9. Li Xiting — With a net worth of $12.6 billion, Xiting cofounded Mindray Medical International, China’s largest medical equipment producer.

The U.S. has been noteworthy for its extreme wealth and income inequality, and the richest have become even richer from pandemic profiteering, according to the Institute for Policy Studies:

“Between January 1, 2020 and April 10, 2020, 34 of the nation’s wealthiest 170 billionaires saw their wealth increase by tens of millions of dollars. Eight have seen their net worth surge by over $1 billion.

As of April 15, Jeff Bezos’s [Amazon’s founder] fortune had increased by an estimated $25 billion since January 1, 2020. This unprecedented wealth surge is larger than the Gross Domestic Product of Honduras, $23.9 billion in 2018.”

The wealth of the world’s top five billionaires — Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett and Larry Ellison — increased twice as much as the federal government paid in stimulus checks to more than 150 million Americans.

And as mentioned earlier, and noted by Barbara Loe Fisher, co-founder and president of the NVIC,

Moderna’s stock price ballooned when it announced that its messenger RNA vaccine was ready for clinical trials,

and the company’s CEO became “a new billionaire overnight.”

Authors of The New England Journal of Medicine article, cited earlier, wrote that the Moderna vaccine candidate, named mRNA-1273, “induced anti–SARS-CoV-2 immune responses in all participants, and no trial-limiting safety concerns were identified.” The study team did note, however, “Solicited adverse events that occurred in more than half the participants included fatigue, chills, headache, myalgia, and pain at the injection site.”

But, according to Just The News, adverse effects were not always that minor, especially after a second injection:

“Notably, every participant in the two larger-dose groups reported adverse reactions after their second injections. One study participant in the smallest-dose group, meanwhile, was removed due to having developed hives after the first round of injections.”

In addition to adverse effects, scientists are questioning how long immunity against the coronavirus, suggested by the presence of antibodies, will last.

According to Zero Hedge, immunity durability may be so short-lived, a COVID-19 vaccine “might need to be administered every year to offer a reliable level of protection.”

That will certainly be a windfall for the biotech billionaires. Zero Hedge writes:

“[A] study produced by researchers at King’s College London is showing recovered patients’ antibodies declined significantly within months of infection, raising the critical question of whether a vaccine could ever provide lasting protection.

Moderna’s vaccine candidate has shown the capacity to produce antibodies in test subjects, but it’s still unclear exactly how much protection this might provide.

University of Nottingham Emeritus Professor in Immunology Herb Sewell, who consulted on the study, said it appeared to show that antibodies to the virus disappeared more quickly than antibodies for MERS and other coronaviruses …

Several high profile studies have raised doubts about whether these antibodies are permanent, or effective, or not.”

Finally, the adverse effects of vaccines in general are so well known, even Bill Gates — who is arguably the world’s most passionate vaccine advocate — admits that as many as 700,000 could become victims of adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine. According to the German website Ken FM, in an interview with CNBC Gates said:

“… if we have … one in ten thousand side effects … that’s, you know, way more — 700,000 … people who will suffer from that. So, really understanding the safety at gigantic scale across all age ranges — you know — pregnant, male, female, undernourished and existing comorbidities, it’s very, very hard …

… that actual decision of‚ OK, let’s go and give this vaccine to the entire world, governments will have to be involved because there will be some risk and indemnification needed before that can be decided on.”

Since that interview, several bloggers and media watchers have twisted Gates’ words as deaths, which has triggered another media “fact-checker,” APF Fact Check,

to call them out for it. So, if you do share this information, please note it’s side effects — which can include deaths, but also anything from a light fever to a very serious, but not life-threatening event — that Gates specifically mentioned.

In summary, as biotech billionaires rush in to profit from the COVID-19 pandemic, your privacy rights are being violated through tracking and contact tracing, and your right to refuse a vaccine may be in jeopardy if it is deemed for the public good. At the same time the very media that should be promoting your right to free speech and to question government’s decisions for your body is advocating for having those rights taken away.

Through the pursuit of an artificial vaccine, natural immunity to viruses like COVID-19 will not occur and future pandemics are assured. But that means mass vaccination will have to be repeated over and over again, which is good news for the pandemic profiteers. But is it good for you?

Hidden epidemic: Oral infections and how to prevent them

Image: Hidden epidemic: Oral infections and how to prevent them

(Natural News) Oral infections like periodontitis (a chronic inflammatory disease and a significant risk factor for tooth loss) and abscesses are some of the most common infections in the world.

According to cardiologist Dr. Thomas Levy, oral infections are a stealth contributor to chronic diseases.

“Everybody thinks an infected tooth will trigger enormous pain, but chronically abscessed teeth have no discomfort at all over 95 percent of the time,” Levy noted.

He went on to explain that typically, periodontitis will proceed with an abscess. Once the gum inflammation gets bad enough and permits oral pathogens to reach the apex of the tooth, the abscess begins to form.

Levy said a digital panoramic x-ray (also known as Panorex or orthopantomogram) is commonly used by dentists and oral surgeons in their everyday practice to have a look at structures like impacted teeth, jaw anatomy and nasal and sinus cavities.

“If you have an infected tooth, it’s going to find maybe 30-40 percent of the time – add another 10-20 percent if you do a slightly more sophisticated digital x-ray.”

The signs and symptoms of periodontitis include bleeding while brushing or flossing, changes in the fit of partial dentures, changes in the way teeth feel when biting, discolored plaque or tartar on the teeth, extra spaces between the teeth, halitosis or bad breath, inflamed or swollen gums, loose or lost teeth, pain when eating or chewing, pus between the teeth and gums, receding gums and sensitive teeth.

To identify asymptomatic abscesses, you need to get a three-dimensional cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) exam done because it creates a three-dimensional (3D) image of the patient’s anatomy – dental (teeth); oral and maxillofacial region (mouth, jaw and neck) and ears, nose and throat (ENT)

Brighteon.TV

“It’s the only way we can currently detect small, otherwise, undetected abscessed teeth. And this is important because once a tooth has an abscess – no matter how small – that tooth is dead. It’s just accumulating infection that you can disseminate throughout the rest of your body,” Levy explained.

A study published in the Biomedical Journal has indicated that “the presence of periodontal pathogens and their metabolic by-products in the mouth may promote the development of systemic diseases,” including, but not limited to “cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal and colorectal cancer, diabetes and insulin resistance and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as respiratory tract infection and adverse pregnancy outcomes.”

This is particularly important if you’re struggling with a chronic health condition, be it an autoimmune disease, cancer, heart disease or any degenerative disease,” said the cardiologist. (Related: Severe periodontitis associated with an increased risk of lung colorectal, pancreatic cancers.)

Can periodontitis be cured?

A note from Cleveland Clinic says, “You can’t cure periodontitis, but you can manage the condition with proper care and treatment.”

Periodontal pockets (the spaces or openings surrounding the teeth under the gum line) can become filled with infectious bacteria, but can be treated and reversed with good oral hygiene and/or dental treatment.

Levy said irrigating between your teeth with hydrogen peroxide water is one of the most effective strategies for reversing periodontitis.

In addition, you also want to make sure you have adequate vitamin C, as the hydrogen peroxide and vitamin C work well in tandem to eradicate pathogens and eliminate the infection.

Vitamin C and oral health

A study published in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition has found that vitamin C depletion can cause gingival bleeding regardless of oral hygiene. The study revealed that there is a “concentration-dependent inhibitory effect between vitamin C and Streptococcus mutans” – a key bacterium linked to the development of tooth decay.

Studies published in the journals General Dentistry and the Internal Journal of Medical Reviews have indicated that vitamin C contributes to collagen synthesis – an important protein for providing tooth structure, support and maintenance.

A study published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health has indicated that vitamin C contributes to a reduced risk of periodontal disease – highlighting its effects on the prevention of incidence and development of the disease.

Meanwhile, researchers of a study published in The Journal of Nutrition have associated dietary intakes of vitamin-C-rich fruits and vegetables with reduced periodontal disease after scaling and root planning. (Related: Stop dangerous periodontal disease with vitamin C and CoQ10 supplements.)

Dietary factors associated with dental erosion

A study published in the journal PLOS One has found that despite the beneficial effect of vitamin C on dental health, oral health educators must reinforce important oral health practices, such as decreasing the time that soft drinks, fruits and other sugar-containing stuff remain in the mouth.

Researchers have associated soft drinks with about 2.4-fold risk of dental erosion in this meta-analysis and could cause damage to the teeth because of low pH and high titratable acidity. In addition, plaque microorganisms metabolize the sugars in the drinks to generate organic acids that bring about demineralization.

Study authors also significantly associated chewing vitamin C tablets with the development of tooth wear, partly due to its low pH. Instead, they recommend the consumption of at least 400 grams of vitamin C-rich fruit per day to prevent the onset of chronic conditions.

Poo-Poo the Poo-Poohers

 By Anna Von Reitz

It’s always the same.  They pretend to be superior.  They pretend to be experts.  They pretend— period.  But in the end, you find out that all these “experts” know nothing beyond where their paycheck comes from, and they will say and do whatever their boss tells them.
Lie?  No problem.
Cheat and steal?  They are down with that.
Skew and deliberately misrepresent scientific findings?  Piece of cake!
Murder….?   It turns out that so long as they don’t have to get their own hands dirty, they don’t care.
Secretly alter the human genome and kill billions of innocent people?  Same story.
At least some of the people on this planet don’t deserve to be here among the rest of us, and that’s a fact.
Just like the Nazis before them, and still just following orders, these Bad Actors are doing what they are told to do, for a paycheck.  Phony experts and trolls by the thousands?  Look at my finger. Observe it closely.
Their latest efforts are aimed at poo-poohing the discovery of graphene and nanotech in the vaccines. They claim that all sorts of scientific experts have investigated this and that no graphene has been found.  They imply that the people reporting this were just ignorant, ill-funded bumpkins without the equipment and expertise…. blah, blah, blah.
This is what they always do to obscure the truth and delay discovery of their own tracks. They get out front and lie like racehorses, casting doubt on their opponents.  If they are too scared to do this themselves, they pay stooges like Erica Kahn to do it.
Well, Erica Foolscrap Kahn, you explain 7500  “extra” Americans dead and the supporting discovery of self-assembling nanotechnology in each and every shot, and then you tell us how it is that dead people are transmitting MAC coordinates from inside their graves?
Why don’t you and all the other bought-and-paid-for “scientists” and “doctors” and “experts” out there try to explain that away?  And watch me as I shove your poo-poo right down your fricking throats.
