Millions of people in the West see the spiritual catastrophe their societies are being led towards. The elites are going crazy, but that is their problem. What we have to do is defend our children from this degradation and degeneracy — Aimee Therese on Twitter.

“It’s Coming.” That’s what Elon Musk said a while back apropos of the Twitter files that show all the US government suppression of Covid-19 information mis-labeled as “misinformation.” Think of whatever the truth is as mis-misinformation. Get it?  You might have to read that sentence more than once to comprehend what went wrong with the American consensus the past three years. And then you’ll begin to understand why the operation is called mind-fuckery.

“It” comes out in weird ways now. For instance, Woody Harrelson’s little prank on Saturday Night Live. The A-List actor opened the show acting stoned, talking about how much he likes weed and getting stoned, and, at the very end of his routine, spoke of a “movie script” that spun out in his stoned head:

(Henry Makow) Entertained to Death

We are becoming more “externalized” than ever.  What does that mean?

We seek satisfaction, knowledge and meaning outside ourselves, i.e. souls.  Our happiness depends on manipulating the world to give us “ego strokes” . Facebook has turned us into “likes” addicts. If we write on someone’s wall and they don’t reply, we are miffed.

We are like squealing chicks waiting for benefactors to bring us juicy worms in the form of money, sex or recognition (“love.”) This sense that our happiness comes from outside ourselves is the cause of all addictions.

OUR BIGGEST MISTAKE

The biggest mistake is conformity. In Thoreau words, is that “All anyone knows is the wind that blows.”  Humanity is pretty clueless as to where it came from, why it is here and where it is going.  Satanists control education and the mass media and their first priority is denying the existence of God, and our spiritual connection to Him.

We are born alone, tread a solitary path, and meet our maker alone, yet we spend our lives evading God, our constant companion. This Self evasion is experienced as emptiness and loneliness. Seeking happiness or guidance from society is looking into a “wilderness of mirrors” in T.S. Eliot’s words. When we watch a movie or even listen to music, we are stuck in the mindset of the artist.  Entertainment rarely inspires, uplifts or nurtures the spirit. Human companionship often leaves us feeling dissatisfied and empty.

I once saw this graffiti: “If you hate being alone, other people must find you boring too.”

Most American adults living paycheck to paycheck, report finds

Image: Most American adults living paycheck to paycheck, report finds

(Natural News) A new report by LendingClub and Paymnts reveals that the majority of Americans are still struggling to put away any kind of savings each month amid skyrocketing inflation and a fading economy.

From January 6 to January 27, analysts looked at the spending and saving habits of 4,163 United States consumers. They found that 60 percent of adults, including more than four in 10 high-income consumers, are barely scraping by – this down from 64 percent last January.

In January 2023, 45 percent of consumers earning more than $100,000 a year were living paycheck to paycheck. This is down from 48 percent at the same time last year.

At the end of each month, somewhere in the vicinity of 64 percent of consumers in the U.S. are left with little or no money to spend on anything beyond just the basic necessities, an earlier Paymnts and LendingClub survey from last December found.

In the latest report, the number of middle-income consumers who earn between $50,000 and $100,000 per year, as well as low-income consumers earning less than $50,000 per year, dropped slightly from 74 percent last year to 64 percent this year.

(Related: More Americans then perhaps ever before are having to take out loans just to buy groceries.)

Inflation still creeping up month after month

The latest data and metrics suggest that the average American consumer is having to drastically cut back on spending, even for things like groceries and rent that are considered necessities. At the same time, consumer spending is slightly higher than expected right now.

“While it’s too early to indicate a trend, consumers have accepted that inflation is part of their everyday lives, and they are actively making behavior changes, especially during the 2022 holiday shopping season, to adjust their spending and better manage their cash flow,” said Anuj Nayar, a financial health officer at LendingClub, in a press release.

Brighteon.TV

Nearly half, or around 42 percent, of all American consumers living paycheck to paycheck are keeping up with their monthly bills, the latest survey found. This is roughly the same percentage as last year around this same time period.

The percentage of those struggling to pay their bills dropped from around 22 percent a year ago to 19 percent in January 2023, the latest report further found.

According to the Department of Commerce, consumer spending increased by 1.8 percent in January, which is more than expected. In fact, this is the largest spending increase since March 2021 at the height of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) scamdemic.

Economist had forecast consumer spending rebounding by just 1.3 percent, so this was an unexpected increase. At the same time, food and energy prices have continued to creep up, as have the prices for many other things.

The core PCE Price Index, which excludes the volatile food and energy sectors, increased from 4.6 percent a year ago to 4.7 percent today. Wall Street had predicted a 4.4 percent increase.

Month over month, core PCE prices were up 0.6 percent, up from 0.4 percent a year ago.

“When adjusted for inflation, consumer spending increased 1.1 percent,” reports indicate. “Meanwhile, personal income adjusted for inflation increased 1.4 percent, and the personal saving rate was also up 4.7 percent from 4. 5 percent in December, the highest in a year.”

“That data suggest that inflation may persist for longer than anticipated, declining at a slower rate, which could prompt the Federal Reserve to further tighten its monetary policy as it strives to reach its inflation goal of 2 percent.”

In March and May of this year, the Federal Reserve is expected to hike up interest rates by another 25 basis points. And these hiked rates will likely continue for a lot longer than expected in order to slow down aggregate demand.

Free AI voice generation software successfully hacked into bank accounts using simulated voices

Image: Free AI voice generation software successfully hacked into bank accounts using simulated voices

(Natural News) While any type of hacking can be upsetting, it’s hard to imagine a more devastating scenario than someone gaining access to your bank account. Most banks employ cutting-edge authentication technology that is very difficult to get around – but one tech writer recently proved that even the most modern measures are surprisingly easy to breach.

Joseph Cox of Vice recounted how he called his bank’s automated service line to test this theory out. When prompted to say, “My voice is my password,” rather than uttering the statement himself, he played a clip he had made with an AI voice creation tool to say it. Within seconds, he was given access to his account.

He said: “I had used an AI-powered replica of a voice to break into a bank account. After that, I had access to the account information, including balances and a list of recent transactions and transfers.”

He said that when he later tried the same thing with an account at the UK financial institution Lloyds Bank, his first attempt failed. However, after playing around some more with the AI software from ElevenLabs, having it read longer texts to improve the believability of its cadences, he did manage to get inside the account.

He explained how easy the software is to use. He recorded a few minutes of speech and uploaded it to ElevenLabs; it then created the synthetic voice, which was capable of saying whatever text he entered into the site.

This means that anyone with access to recordings of someone else’s voice could potentially pull off a similar feat. Although the software says it is for providing voices for videos, books and newsletters, it doesn’t have robust safeguards in place to prevent abuse.

Brighteon.TV

Lloyds Bank boasts that its Voice ID program is safe and unique to each person, analyzing more than 100 characteristics such as how fast you talk, your accent and how you use your vocal cords. It says it can even recognize you if you have a sore throat or cold – but apparently it can’t tell human voices apart from AI-generated ones.

Wells Fargo, TD Bank, Chase, and many others employ similar technology. Many banks enable users to conduct banking activities over the phone, including checking their account balances and transaction history and transferring money.

AI voice generation technology puts everyone at risk

Rachel Tobac, SocialProofSecurity CEO, told Motherboard: “I recommend all organizations leveraging voice ‘authentication’ switch to a secure method of identity verification, like multi-factor authentication, ASAP.”

She added that the technology makes it possible for people to breach a person’s account without having ever interacted with them in real life.

In fact, Cox noted that people have already used the software in question to replicate people’s voices without their consent. For example, they can take clips of people’s voices that are already available online – whether it’s a TikTok or YouTube video of a social media influencer or even an ordinary person or news footage of politicians and other celebrities – and use them to clone their voice.

Members of 4chan have used the software to make it sound as though celebrities are making racist and transphobic comments; in one incident, they used the voice generator to make it sound like actress Emma Watson reading Mein Kampf. After the incident made headlines, ElevenLabs said that although it is capable of tracing generated audio back to specific users, it is also exploring additional safeguards, such as requiring users to provide payment information or full ID identification.

Relying on voice authentication to protect your bank account is not a smart move these days. At the very least, users should set it up to use a second factor for authentication as well. As AI tools continue to evolve and improve at a rapid pace, what seem like cutting-edge authentication measures now could soon become very easy to breach.

More and more East Palestine residents reporting health issues following train derailment and toxic chemical spill

Image: More and more East Palestine residents reporting health issues following train derailment and toxic chemical spill

(Natural News) Residents of East Palestine, Ohio, have been reporting multiple health issues following the Feb. 3 Norfolk Southern train derailment and toxic chemical explosion.

One such resident is Wade Lovett, 40, an auto detailer. Following his return to his community, Lovett’s voice suddenly became extremely high pitched, and a checkup revealed that he “definitely” has chemicals in his system “but there’s no one in town who can run the toxicological tests to find out which ones they are.” (Related: Plan to INJECT toxic Ohio wastewaster underground in Texas alarms locals.)

“My voice sounds like Mickey Mouse. My normal voice is low. It’s hard to breathe, especially at night. My chest hurts so much at night I feel like I’m drowning. I cough up phlegm a lot,” he said. “I lost my job because the doctor won’t release me to go to work.”

Melissa Blake, another resident who lives less than a mile from the crash site, said she started coughing up gray mucus and began struggling to breathe just two days after the train derailed. She immediately went to the emergency room, where she was diagnosed with acute bronchitis caused by chemical fumes.

“They gave me a breathing machine. They put me on oxygen. They gave me three types of steroids,” said Blake, who has yet to return home since being discharged three weeks ago due to fears about chemical exposure.

Lovett and Blake, like most of East Palestine’s roughly 4,700 residents, are frustrated and furious over what they believe is a lack of real information and concrete aid from both local officials and the federal administration of President Joe Biden.

East Palestine residents organizing to stand up to Norfolk Southern

Leading the charge to fight for East Palestine’s resident is local environmental activist Jami Cozza, 46, who noted in an interview with the New York Post how her 91-year-old widowed grandmother got sick after she tried to clean the chemicals off the furniture in the house she’s lived in for 56 years. Many of her relatives and loved ones have also gotten sick.

“My fiance was so sick that I almost took him to the hospital,” said Cozza, who is worried about the media spotlight on East Palestine fading. She is determined to keep the pressure on once her town is considered “old news.”

“Not only am I fighting for my family’s life, but I feel like I’m fighting for the whole town’s life. When I’m walking around hearing these stories, they’re not from people. They’re from family. They’re from my friends that I’ve grown up with,” said Cozza. “People are desperate right now. We’re dying slowly. They’re poisoning us slowly.”

A big part of Cozza and the rest of the town’s battle involves questions regarding Norfolk Southern’s decision to effectively saturate the town with vinyl chloride in a “controlled explosion” and whether that was the correct one or if it was the least expensive option compared to just cleaning up the toxic spill.

Cozza has also organized her neighbors to reject Norfolk Southern’s offers to help the town, such as the $1 million donated to a community assistance fund, an offer to pay for all cleanup costs, continuing to test air, water and soil and offering residents $1,000 checks.

“We are at war with corporate greed. We need accountability and we need answers. We are here to make our town safe,” said Cozza during a town hall meeting attended by hundreds of residents. “And by the way, don’t tell us we aren’t getting sick, that it’s all in our head. We are getting sick.”

September 26, 2022, massive leaks were detected in two Russian pipelines — Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 — that deliver natural gas from Russia to Europe underneath the Baltic Sea. Within a couple of days, several countries, including Russia, agreed the leaks were the result of intentional sabotage.

The sabotage came right on the heels of Moscow’s decision to cut off Nord Stream 1’s supply to Germany at the end of August 2022. Prior to that, in February 2022, Germany had suspended its certification process of Nord Stream 2, so it was never entered into service.

From the start, Russia accused the United States of destroying the pipelines. It was a rather obvious choice, considering President Biden had publicly announced that “if Russia invades Ukraine, there will be no Nord Stream 2.

We will bring an end to it.”

When asked by an incredulous reporter how Biden could ensure that, considering the pipeline was under German control, he replied, “I promise you, we’ll be able to do it.”

During a January 27, 2022, State Department briefing, undersecretary Victoria Nuland also delivered a near-identical message, saying “I want to be very clear to you today. If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.”

Despite such direct promises, the Biden administration denied having anything to do with the explosion after the fact, instead claiming Russia blew up its own pipeline, ostensibly for no other reason than being able to blame the U.S. As incomprehensible as that was to any rational person, the mainstream media ran with this narrative.

In early October, Germany partnered with Denmark and Sweden to investigate, using Navy, police, and intelligence services from the three countries.

As of this writing, that investigation is still ongoing.

February 8, 2023, legendary investigative journalist Seymore Hersh — famous for his 1969 exposure of the My Lai massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting in 1970 — published a shocking article

claiming the sabotage was carried out by U.S. Navy divers during BALTOPS 22, a NATO exercise that took place in the Baltic Sea in June 2022.

Three months later, the planted explosives were remotely detonated, destroying the two pipelines. According to Hersh:

“Biden’s decision to sabotage the pipelines came after more than nine months of highly secret back and forth debate inside Washington’s national security community about how to best achieve that goal.

For much of that time, the issue was not whether to do the mission, but how to get it done with no overt clue as to who was responsible. There was a vital bureaucratic reason for relying on the graduates of the [U.S. Navy’s Diving and Salvage] center’s hardcore diving school in Panama City.

The divers were Navy only, and not members of America’s Special Operations Command, whose covert operations must be reported to Congress and briefed in advance to the Senate and House leadership—the so-called Gang of Eight. The Biden Administration was doing everything possible to avoid leaks as the planning took place late in 2021 and into the first months of 2022.

President Biden and his foreign policy team — National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Tony Blinken, and Victoria Nuland, the Undersecretary of State for Policy — had been vocal and consistent in their hostility to the two pipelines, which ran side by side for 750 miles under the Baltic Sea from two different ports in northeastern Russia near the Estonian border, passing close to the Danish island of Bornholm before ending in northern Germany.

The direct route, which bypassed any need to transit Ukraine, had been a boon for the German economy, which enjoyed an abundance of cheap Russian natural gas — enough to run its factories and heat its homes while enabling German distributors to sell excess gas, at a profit, throughout Western Europe. Action that could be traced to the administration would violate US promises to minimize direct conflict with Russia. Secrecy was essential.”

According to Hersh’s investigative report,

the “why” behind Biden’s decision to blow up the pipelines was threefold. First, it would massively impact Russia’s economy, as its oil and gas revenues are estimated to account for as much as 45% of its annual budget. Once Nord Stream 2 got underway, that income stream would increase even further.

Second, eliminating Germany’s and Western Europe’s ability to buy low-cost gas from Russia would force them to buy U.S. gas. As noted by Hersh, Nord Stream 1 was bad enough from the perspective of Washington, but were Nord Stream 2 to open up, Germany would be able to buy more than half of its annual consumption straight from Russia.

“The ‘why’ behind Biden’s decision to blow up the pipelines was threefold. First, it would massively impact Russia’s economy. Second, eliminating Germany’s and Western Europe’s ability to buy low-cost gas from Russia would force them to buy U.S. gas. And third, he feared Europe would be reluctant to supply Ukraine with money and weapons if they were reliant on Russian gas.”

Third, with Europe being so reliant on low-cost gas from Russia,

“Washington was afraid that countries like Germany would be reluctant to supply Ukraine with the money and weapons it needed to defeat Russia,” Hersh writes.

According to Hersh, Biden authorized U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to “bring together an interagency group to come up with a plan” for how to address the Nord Stream threat. The task force Sullivan convened allegedly included “men and women from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the CIA and the State and Treasury Departments.”

“What became clear to participants, according to the source with direct knowledge of the process, is that Sullivan intended for the group to come up with a plan for the destruction of the two Nord Stream pipelines — and that he was delivering on the desires of the President,” Hersh writes.

“Over the next several meetings, the participants debated options for an attack. The Navy proposed using a newly commissioned submarine to assault the pipeline directly.

The Air Force discussed dropping bombs with delayed fuses that could be set off remotely. The CIA argued that whatever was done, it would have to be covert. Everyone involved understood the stakes. ‘This is not kiddie stuff,’ the source said. If the attack were traceable to the United States, ‘It’s an act of war’ …

Throughout ‘all of this scheming,’ the source said, ‘some working guys in the CIA and the State Department were saying, ‘Don’t do this. It’s stupid and will be a political nightmare if it comes out.'”

Unfortunately, that’s where we find ourselves today. If the attacks can be definitively traced to the U.S., the Biden administration has not only committed an act of war against Russia, but also against NATO allies! To say the world is now in a conundrum would be an understatement.

Will Germany and Western Europe accept industrial terrorism against them by a supposed ally? Well, perhaps. Because according to Hersh’s “deep throat” source, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with Biden at the White House and personally OK’d the operation.

The source also claims Norway, another NATO member, was in on the plan and helped solve several hurdles encountered along the way. Norway also had financial incentive to keep the secret, as the destruction of Nord Stream would allow them to sell more natural gas to Europe too.

But here’s the deeper question: If a small group of NATO allies conspired to commit what some have called “one of the worst terrorist attacks in history”

against allied member nations, in addition to causing one of the worst ecological disasters in history, what will be the result? Will affected NATO members, whose economies and industries have been demolished, accept a sheepish apology?

Time will tell, but clearly, the Biden administration’s actions have brought us to the very brink of world war.

The possibility of war escalation is made even more prominent by the fact that President Putin on February 21 announced he is indefinitely suspending Russia’s participation in the New START treaty, a strategic nuclear arms treaty with the U.S. that limits the nuclear arsenals of both countries.

The only thing really holding this house of cards together right now is the fact that mainstream media are refusing to touch Hersh’s whistleblower story.

As for the shocking indiscretion of Nuland and Biden in the months before the attack, Hersh’s source noted that several of the planners were indeed “dismayed” by it.

“It was like putting an atomic bomb on the ground in Tokyo and telling the Japanese that we are going to detonate it,” the source told Hersh. “The plan was for the options to be executed post invasion and not advertised publicly. Biden simply didn’t get it or ignored it.”

However, the indirect admission also “created an opportunity” for the planners, as “senior officials of the CIA determined that blowing up the pipeline ‘no longer could be considered a covert option because the president just announced that we knew how to do it.'” Hersh continues:

“The plan to blow up Nord Stream 1 and 2 was suddenly downgraded from a covert operation requiring that Congress be informed to one that was deemed as a highly classified intelligence operation with U.S. military support.

Under the law, the source explained, ‘There was no longer a legal requirement to report the operation to Congress. All they had to do now is just do it — but it still had to be secret. The Russians have superlative surveillance of the Baltic Sea.’

The Agency working group members had no direct contact with the White House and were eager to find out if the President meant what he’d said — that is, if the mission was now a go. The source recalled, ‘Bill Burns comes back and says, ‘Do it.'”

Russia is now calling on the United Nations to establish an independent international investigation to identify “perpetrators, sponsors, organizers and accomplices,” as Russia and “other interested parties” have been barred from the German investigation.

February 21, 2023, Russia convened a Security Council meeting to vote on the resolution.

According to UN News, the Council discussion got rather heated as U.S. ambassador John Kelley insisted Russia was “abusing its position as Council member” by airing unfounded “internet conspiracy theories”:

“‘We are not here to set up a trial in the Security Council,’ Russian ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said during discussions. He said Moscow was presenting a request for an independent investigation in light of doubts about the integrity and transparency of Denmark, Germany and Sweden in their ongoing inquiries.

Instead, he said, the UN Secretary-General ‘is someone we trust’ to lead an investigation … There was ‘proof that explosives had been planted’ near the pipeline during a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) exercise in the summer of 2022, he said, referring to a recent United States news report by reporter Seymour Hersh claiming Washington was involved.

‘This journalist is telling the truth,’ he told Council members. ‘This is more than just a smoking gun that detectives love in Hollywood blockbusters. It’s a basic principle of justice; everything is in your hands, and we can resolve this today.'”

UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo, urged parties to “show restraint” and “avoid any speculation” and “unfounded accusations that could further escalate the already heightened tensions in the region and potentially inhibit the search for the truth.”

She did note, however, that preliminary results from the inquiry by Germany, Sweden and Denmark showed signs of “gross sabotage” and that “foreign items” had been seized at the site.

While the Council remained split on the decision to launch a UN-led investigation, many expressed “grave concerns about the ecological impacts” of the sabotage, and agreed that the Council’s efforts should focus on de-escalating tensions in line with international law and the UN Charter.

According to an analysis by the UN Environment Program’s (UNEP) International Methane Emissions Observatory, the methane emitted during the explosion is estimated to be between 75 to 230 kilotons — a record in terms of being from a single event.

As suggested by UnHerd columnist Thomas Fazi, “We are already at war with Russia,” and this “never-ending escalation will result in catastrophe.” He writes:

“Almost a year into the conflict, the narrative of Western intervention in Ukraine — that ‘NATO is not at war with Russia’ and that ‘the equipment we’re providing is purely defensive’ — is being revealed for what it always was: a fiction.

Last month, at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, another kernel of truth slipped through the cracks at a briefing

by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.

Austin and Miller stated in no uncertain terms that the US was committed to going ‘on the offensive to liberate Russian-occupied Ukraine’ …

The admission that the weapons being provided by the US and NATO are of an offensive, not defensive, character marks a significant U-turn for the Biden administration. In March last year, Biden promised

the public that the US would not send ‘offensive equipment’ and ‘planes and tanks’ to Ukraine, because this would trigger ‘World War III’ …

Yet in the coming months, the US is planning to deliver 31 Abrams tanks, and even Germany, after weeks of reluctance, has caved in to the immense pressure coming from Washington and other allies …

This is simply the latest in a long list of red lines that the US and NATO have crossed since the start of the conflict … [We] need to acknowledge that we are already at war with Russia … The fact that there has been no formal declaration of war is beside the point …

By providing increasingly powerful military equipment as well as financial, technical, logistical and training support to one of the warring factions, including for offensive operations (even within Russian territory), the West is engaged in a de facto military confrontation with Russia, regardless of what our leaders may claim.”

As noted by Fazi, the current military strategy of the West is based on a highly dubious assumption, namely that Russia will accept military defeat and loss of territory without resorting to nuclear weapons. Being wrong would be disastrous for the whole world, and if we’re making assumptions, there’s every reason to assume Russia will NOT accept defeat before every available option has been used up.

After all, Russia’s perspective is that it’s fighting an existential threat in Ukraine. Meanwhile, evidence suggests the basis for the United States’ interest in, and defense of, Ukraine is related to it being a valuable money laundering hub and, potentially, a secret biological weapons manufacturing ally.

As Americans, we cannot be naïve about this, seeing how it’s our lives that will be destroyed were Russia to send nuclear missiles our way. Europeans also need to search their souls to determine whether protecting Deep State interests is really worth the price.
