Tommy Robinson of Rebel News ARRESTED, then released, for “immigration offenses” during podcast tour

Canadian authorities took aim this week at podcaster Tommy Robinson, who was arrested by police for “immigration offenses,” only to be released not long afterwards.

The 41-year-old conservative activist whose real name is Stephen Yaxley Lennon was touring Calvary when both undercover and uniformed police officers found, swarmed and detained him, throwing him in the back of a large police SUV – watch the video footage below:

Before being released, Robinson was reportedly forced to hand over his passport to Canadian authorities and agree to stay in southern Alberta. Robinson remains prohibited from leaving Canada.

“Ok I’m FREE, well sort of, none of this makes sense,” Robinson tweeted following the incident.

“I’m now detained in Calgary, prevented from leaving the city, these conditions stop me from continuing my tour of Canada and meeting with guests for podcasts. I’m not even allowed to leave to travel home.”

Watch the video below of Robinson speaking to a reporter about his release:

Tommy Robinson gets a lawyer

The irony is that Robinson was visiting Canada to participate in a podcast talk with Rebel News that was scheduled to take place in front of 150 people. The subject matter involved “freedom of speech,” the government’s “lawfare” agenda and Robinson’s own personal battles with British police.

Before being arrested and prohibited from speaking any further, Robinson was scheduled to make two additional appearances in Edmonton and Toronto as part of a “three-city tour.”

“I asked them, ‘What if I just want to go home?'” Robinson further told reporters about his interactions with Canadian police following his arrest. “And they said, ‘You’re not allowed to.'”

In another video of himself that he shared on X, Robinson asked publicly the reason for his detention.

“This is absolutely insane,” he said. “Get me a lawyer? Can you not tell me what I’m under arrest for?”

This is Justin Trudeau’s Canada, by the way. Things were not like this in Canada before Trudeau’s reign of terror, which has all but completely destroyed freedom of speech within the boundaries of our neighbor to the north.

We have learned that Robinson now has a lawyer – watch below:

“I want to know what the charge is and the reason for it first,” one commenter wrote about Robinson’s arrest. “If the charge is bogus in my opinion, then I wish I was his lawyer.”

Others noted that Robinson’s opposition to mass migration is more than likely one of the things, if not the thing, that landed him in the crosshairs of Canadian law enforcement.

While he remains under lockdown in Alberta, Robinson must check in three times a week at a local federal building. He has no court date or any further information about his status, either, which means his imprisonment in Alberta is apparently indefinite.

“Trudeau’s state security police brings back memories of the East German Stasi and Soviet KGB,” another commenter wrote.

“I did have a bad feeling when I heard Tommy had gone to Canada,” wrote another. “Trudeau is the one who should be in prison!”

“I have no respect left for this nation as long as Trudeau is prime minister,” said another, a Canadian resident. “We have sunk so low. Our freedoms are all but gone.”

The government is scared to death of people like Robinson who speak out and have a following. Learn more at Censorship.news.

German police cracking down on “foreigners out” chant as public turns against mass illegal immigration – NaturalNews.com

German police cracking down on “foreigners out” chant as public turns against mass illegal immigration

As Germans become increasingly unhappy about the number of crimes being committed by foreign people there, the government has been trying to curb opposition to immigration. In one recent incident, however, police who went to investigate reports of people singing a banned song were surprised when they saw the “culprits.”

In Germany, police have been increasingly deployed in “operations” to address instances of people singing a song that has become associated with nationalism. This trend has seen mostly young people singing the phrase “Foreigners out, Germany for the Germans” to the beat of a popular electronic song by Gigi D’Agostino known as “L’amour toujours.” The slogan was used by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and is illegal in Germany.

However, when police were called out to a birthday party in Rhineland-Palatinate, they discovered that the people singing the song calling for foreign people to leave the country were actually foreigners themselves, speaking only Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Romanian.

A representative of the police department that responded said: “What is remarkable in this context is that the women were all non-German nationals and only one woman had any significant knowledge of German.”

In this case, the individuals involved were only singing the song because they had heard it on social media. They said they did not know that people who sing it are facing criminal prosecution in Germany right now.

That’s right – some of Germany’s top politicians have demanded that people who sing the song face the “maximum penalty.”

One of the earliest incidents involving the “foreigners out” chant was a harvest festival in 2023 in the German city of Bergholz. However, there have been numerous other high-profile incidents involving the song since then.

In one incident that has been getting a lot of press, video footage circulating online showed a group of people at a party on the terrace of the Pony club on the elite party island of Sylt singing the version of the song with the offensive lyrics. This resulted in a number of lawsuits, including the owners of the club potentially suing the culprits for economic and reputational damage after a major sponsor decided to sever ties with them.

German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser directed Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution to launch an investigation into the people involved in the video for suspicion of incitement. Many of those who appeared in the video were doxxed and several lost their jobs as a result; the club has also issued them a lifetime ban.

Faeser said: “The question is whether we are dealing with people who live in a parallel society who are neglectful due to their affluence and trample on the values of our constitution.

“Anyone who shouts Nazi slogans, like ‘Germany for the Germans, foreigners out’, is a disgrace for Germany,” she added.

Bundestag President Barbel Bas called for the partygoers in the video to receive a harsh punishment, “perhaps even the maximum penalty.” Depending on the specific charge, this could be five years in prison.

Police seem more concerned about chants and slogans than violent crimes

Hungarian soccer fans reportedly chanted the song during this week’s European football championship match between Germany and Hungary in Stuttgart. It is not known whether the fans are facing a criminal investigation.

The managers of the world-famous Oktoberfest beer festival in Munich have said that they will be banning the song from being played there, with Clemens Baumgartner telling German media: “We want to ban it and we will ban it. There is no place for all that right-wing crap at the Oktoberfest.”

Many people in Germany are frustrated by the unprecedented levels of crime being committed by foreigners and the fact that many of these foreign perpetrators do not face deportation or serious prison sentences. And the fact that the government seems far more interested in pursuing its own citizens who sing a song at parties than the immigrants who are physically attacking, raping and killing people is only making matters worse.

SPEECH POLICE: Ukrainian NGO exposes list of U.S. citizens who “echo key messages of Russian propaganda” – NaturalNews.com

SPEECH POLICE: Ukrainian NGO exposes list of U.S. citizens who “echo key messages of Russian propaganda”

A Ukrainian NGO has compiled a database of influential American citizens, accusing them of holding positions that “mirror” those of Moscow. Among those blacklisted is billionaire Elon Musk, who has called for the organization to be designated as a terrorist group.

The NGO, Texty.org.ua, has released a comprehensive report outlining an alleged “ecosystem” of U.S. citizens and organizations whose narratives “echo key messages of Russian propaganda” regarding the Ukraine conflict.

In response, Republican members of the House Appropriations Committee added a provision to the markup of the State Department’s 2025 budget, banning Texty from receiving U.S. funding. Musk reacted on X, stating: “It’s a good first step. They should be added to the list of sanctioned terrorist organizations.”

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), who was also targeted by the Ukrainian NGO, led the push for the prohibition. “Federal bureaucrats should not support or partner with foreign groups that attempt to intimidate and silence U.S. citizens and lawmakers,” he said. Banks highlighted a connection between the department and Anatoly Bondarenko, a co-founder of Texty.

Texty.org.ua defended its report as “data journalism” and described itself as the victim of “an attack on freedom of speech and a display of chauvinism against the citizens of Ukraine.” The group argued, “Our critics believe that we do not have the right to investigate the streams of false information they produce about our country and us, simply because they are U.S. citizens and we are not.”

The original report labeled individuals on its list as “forces in the U.S. impeding aid to Ukraine,” spanning “from Trumpists to Communists.” Highlighted in the report were the renowned anti-war group CODEPINK, organizations funded by billionaire Charles Koch, popular conservative speaker Jordan Peterson and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Musk accused of allowing Russian propaganda on X

Texty targeted Musk for allegedly allowing Russian propaganda on X, which he owns and for promoting a “highly skeptical view of the United States’ financial support for Ukraine.” Businessman Peter Thiel was criticized for investing in Rumble, a free speech video-sharing website that, unlike major platforms operated by U.S. tech giants, allows RT content.

Despite acknowledging that both Musk and Thiel had contributed to Kyiv’s war effort against Russia through Musk’s Starlink satellite internet system and Thiel’s Palantir big-data analysis platform, the report still placed them on its blacklist. (Related: Ukrainian intelligence claims Russian hackers are targeting Elon Musk’s Starlink network.)

Reports in February showed Russian troops in Ukraine increasingly accessing Starlink, Musk’s private satellite internet network, which Ukraine’s military heavily relies on for battlefield communications.

This raises concerns about Kyiv’s secure command communications amid weaponry and ammunition shortages, as Russian forces press offensives along the 1,200-kilometer front line, particularly in Avdiivka.

Ukraine’s military intelligence reported that Russian forces systematically use Starlink terminals, supported by intercepted communications. Units like Russia’s 83rd Air Assault Brigade are reportedly using the system.

Despite Starlink’s claim of not selling to Russia, evidence suggests terminals are acquired through various Russian vendors and resellers. For instance, a Russian website, Topmachines.ru, advertised a Starlink set for 220,000 rubles (about $2,200) with a $100 monthly subscription fee.

Starlink’s technology appears unable to precisely restrict signal access, complicating efforts to limit Russian use without affecting Ukrainian operations. Vendors in Moscow sell terminals at high prices, with lax oversight of customer data, allowing purchases with random European identities and valid bank cards.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Starlink is not officially supplied or used in Russia, despite reports indicating otherwise.

Intermittent fasting better than pharmaceutical drugs at managing diabetes – NaturalNews.com

If you suffer from type 2 diabetes and hate taking antidiabetic pharmaceutical drugs, how about trying intermittent fasting instead?

New research published in the journal Diabetes and Endocrinology shows that blood sugar can more easily be managed through timing when you eat rather than popping diabetes medications.

Participants who adhered to a 5:2 intermittent fasting diet, meaning they eat normally for five days while reducing calories for the remaining two days, improved their blood sugar levels and lost weight more easily than diabetes sufferers who stick with pharmaceuticals while eating whatever and whenever they want.

The so-called EARLY (Exploration of Treatment of Newly Diagnosed Overweight/Obese Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus) study is a randomized clinical trial that took place across nine locations in China. Its purpose was to assess the effects of intermittent fasting for glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

A total of 405 people participated in the research. They were divided into three groups: one that adhered to the 5:2 fasting diet with meal replacements, and the other two that took either metformin or empagliflozin, two popular drugs used to treat type 2 diabetes.

Those in the 5:2 intermittent fasting diet group fasted for two consecutive days each week. On those two consecutive days, they ate a low-calorie meal replacement product and limited their caloric intake to 500 calories for women and 600 calories for men. On the other five days, they ate their usual breakfast and lunch but replaced dinner with a meal replacement product.

All throughout the study period, every participant from each group was given comprehensive dietary and exercise guidance coupled with general diabetes education from nutritionists and research physicians.

Over the 16 weeks that the trial took place, the 5:2 intermittent fasting diet group saw a significant drop in hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), a measure of blood sugar control. They saw an average reduction of 1.9 percent compared to 1.6 percent in the metformin group and 1.5 percent in the empagliflozin group.

As for weight loss, participants in the 5:2 group lost an average of 21 pounds while the metformin and empagliflozin groups saw an average reduction of 12 pounds and 13 pounds, respectively.

“The 5:2 MR approach may serve as an effective initial lifestyle intervention instead of antidiabetic drugs for patients with type 2 diabetes,” the paper concludes.

Fasting burns fat for energy

Dr. Jason Fung, a leading expert in intermittent fasting and author of “The Diabetes Code,” believes that limiting what and when you eat makes all the difference in blood sugar levels, insulin sensitivity, and various diabetes-related complications.

“Fasting allows your body to lower insulin levels and burn stored fat for energy, improving insulin sensitivity,” wrote Sheramy Tsai in a piece for The Epoch Times. “This means your cells are better able to use glucose, reducing overall blood sugar levels.”

Last year, a study was published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism that found 47 percent of diabetes patients who adhered to an intermittent fasting protocol go into remission.

“It’s nothing more or less than give your body a break and let it burn off all that energy that you’ve stored away because that’s the natural thing to do if you’ve stored too much,” Dr. Fung said in a talk at the “Food for Thought 2023: Rising to the challenge of obesity and diabetes” conference, which you can watch below:

“I did it at 23 years old,” one commenter wrote about the successes he saw with intermittent fasting.

“Intermittent fasting includes steak and eggs! Went from 7.1 A1C to 5.3, and have maintained that for over three years now with zero meds – if old lazy me can do it, anybody can do it.”
