Senators Stand With Armed Forces, Demand Senate Vote on Ending Military Covid-19 Vax Mandate

Today (11/30/22), Rand Paul hosted a Press Conference, accompanied by several Republican Senators, demanding a vote to end Biden’s military C19 vax mandate. But before making their way to the podium, they wrote a letter to their colleagues in Washington, D.C. Here’s a quick excerpt from the 13 Republican Senators asking for an end to the mandates:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Rand Paul (R-KY), Rick Scott (R-FL), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Mike Lee (R-UT), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Mike Braun (R-IN), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Steve Daines (R-MT), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), and Josh Hawley (R-MO) sent a letter to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Republican Whip John Thune, Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Barrasso, and Senate Republican Policy Committee Chairman Roy Blunt expressing opposition to moving forward with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023, unless the Senate votes on an amendment to prohibit discharges from the Armed Forces solely because of COVID-19 vaccination status. The amendment will also reinstate service members already discharged, with back pay.

The Department of Defense COVID-19 vaccine mandate has ruined the livelihoods of men and women who have honorably served our country…While the Department of Defense certainly must make decisions that will bolster military readiness, the effects of the mandate are antithetical to readiness of our force, and the policy must be revoked,” the Senators wrote. “The United States simply cannot afford to discharge our brave men and women in uniform and lose the investments we have made into each and every one of them due to an inept bureaucratic policy…We respectfully request that the Senate vote to remedy a policy that adversely affects our service members and our national security.

Rand Paul was first up to the podium:

“The CDC acknowledges that the COVID vaccine does not stop transmission.”

“So the argument that the mandate will stop incapacitating spread in the close quarters of the military is not applicable.”

“The COVID vaccine has a risk of causing inflammation, particularly in young men, particularly the young men that comprise over 90% of our military recruits.”

Florida’s “analysis found that there is an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination.”

“In addition,” stated Paul. “Several scientific studies, including a very large one in Israel, and another one by the CDC, have shown a heightened risk of myocarditis for children and teenagers after taking a second COVID vaccine dose. Israel saw elevated rates of myocarditis after young men were vaccinated, particularly after the second dose.”

Because of the scientific evidence, European countries began restricting the vaccine for certain age groups.

Germany, France, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden all limit their recommendations for vaccines for young people. Norway, South Africa, and the U.K. chose not to recommend or chose to recommend only one dose because of the risk of myocarditis.

Dr. Paul Offit, a former member of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on vaccines, part of the FDA’s Advisory Committee on vaccines, resigned over this policy. He also said that even though he’s pro-vaccine, he’s been pro-everything vaccine for 40 years, that he wouldn’t give the vaccine to his 24-year-old son.

“The mandate ignores naturally-acquired immunity.”

80% of our young military recruits have had COVID. By compelling the young people to inject a vaccine into their bodies, they’re accepting a risk of myocarditis. In fact, it is inadvisable to take a vaccine if you’ve recently had COVID. Even the CDC admits this.

Our service members have spent their entire lives dedicated to protecting our country and making sacrifices to defend the Constitution. Congress should take action. And we’re taking action today by saying we will not vote to get on the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), the defense authorization bill, unless we have a vote on ending this military vaccine mandate.

Thanks, Senator Paul, for kicking off this press conference to finally put an end to these insane vax mandates.

If you’d like to watch the entire press conference, you can do so here. Senator Ron Johnson’s presentation is especially good.

Rebekah Barnett SPEAKS to Raymond Palmer! The strange saga of Raymond D Palmer continues

This Substack documents a Twitter thread follow up to my original article on Raymond D Palmer, author of a junk paper published in BioMedicine (Taipei), in which he suggests that vaccine side effects are caused by anti-vax misinformation, not vaccines. If you haven’t read the first post, skip over to it now for context.

Since writing the above, I’ve had a lengthy chat with the man of the hour. I’ve also turned up some other eyebrow raising details, thanks to a team effort of collaborative sleuthing. Strap in.

Tweets 2-6 cover the background info included in the embedded Substack above. There is one extra detail not included in that post that can’t go without mention. Palmer has a section for Patents on his Cosmic Art Gallery hobby site. There are many, including an electromagnetic radiation bra and a sleeping accessory to hold your legs together.

Stunning stuff. Next, my phone conversation with Ray.

*For context, THIS is what we were dealing with in WA at the time of the coercion campaign.

And now we get to what I actually think is the most juicy question of all…

And there is another collaborator of interest too…

Source: Curtin University staff profile Prof Magdy Elnashar

Ray Palmer is an electrical engineer, astronomer and self-proclaimed ‘mRNA alchemist’ who fronts several sham companies selling promises of eternal youth. He started publishing papers in medical journals the same year he started taking online courses in epigenetics and gene therapy. Palmer has the aura of a Walter Mitty type sitting at the low end of the Dunning-Kruger scale.

Of far more interest to me are Dr Vaccarezza and Prof Elnashar, both of Curtin University (Perth, Western Australia).

These established academics have collaborated with Palmer on numerous papers. The astonishingly poor quality of Palmer’s solo paper (the subject of this Substack) suggests that the comparatively higher standard of his collaborative papers with Dr Vaccarezza and Prof Elnashar is the result of their work, not his.

I have reached out to Vaccarezza, Elnashar and Curtin University for comment. No response yet. Stay tuned.

Sam Bankman-Fried Describes the Co-Mingling of Funds between FTX and Alameda Research

Sam Bankman-Fried’s First Live Appearance since the FTX Collapse

Sam Bankman-Fried of the now infamous FTX collapse participated last night in the NY Times DealBook Summit, in what was his first live public video appearance since the collapse. Aaron Ross Sorkin conducted the interview, which lasted well over an hour. Sorkin asked him directly about much of the operational procedures of the two companies he founded that just declared bankruptcy, FTX and Alameda Research. Bankman-Fried responded with wordy answers that at times seemed to attempt to portray himself as a victim of a disastrous occurrence as opposed to a catastrophe of his own making. Mr. Bankman-Fried ended up laying out details of how the corruption took place, at one point admitting that his appearance on the program went against his lawyer’s advice.

Co-Mingling of Funds

One topic that came up repeatedly was “co-mingling”. Bankman-Fried was asked when the “comingling of funds” began between FTX and Alameda Research. His response was that back in 2018/2019, FTX didn’t yet have bank accounts. In his own words:

“We were trying to get them, but it took a few years. There were customers who wanted to wire money to FTX, and so I think in the meantime, some of them were wiring money to Alameda Research, to get credited on FTX. And uh, I think that was a substantial sum, and I think that the FTX internal accounting did correctly effectively try to debit Alameda for those funds, but it didn’t happen in the primary account and so it didn’t happen, you know, it created a discrepancy between the display of the account and what was really going on there, and um, I’m still looking into exactly how that worked mechanically, but that did make that position size substantially larger than I thought, and I think then what you would have gotten from most normal avenues”

It appears that what Bankman-Fried was trying to say, but also not to say, is that his cryptocurrency exchange called FTX, and his hedge fund and cryptocurrency trading firm called Alameda Research had a casual “co-mingling of funds” going on for years, since before FTX opened their first bank account. Clients looking to put their money into the FTX cryptocurrency exchange would wire their money to Alameda Research bank accounts, where the money began to flow between the two companies with a lot of ease and little accounting.

“I’ve Had a Bad Month”

When Sorkin asked Bankman-Fried if he was worried about criminal liability on a personal level, his response of “I’ve had a bad month” drew laughter from the crowd. He continued to say that the time to face his personal fallout from the scandal will come, but at this point, his focus is on trying to help recover funds for his customers.

White Paper Protests

A bold and historic phenomenon is taking place across China. The Chinese Communist Party has increasingly imposed draconian Covid restrictions in conjunction with their Zero Covid policy. Zero Covid policy has led to measures such as locking residents in their buildings without the ability to leave for work, food shopping, or medical purposes. In the face of tyrannical oppression by the Chinese Communist government, illegal protests have erupted in cities, and at universities, across the country, including in the cities of Nanjing and Beijing. The protests are calling for freedom from Covid tests, and for an end to “Zero Covid.”

The government is arresting protestors every day, yet there seems to be no sign of the protests dying down. Last week the cruel nature of Zero Covid policies culminated in the death of 10 citizens in a city called Urumqi, who burned alive in their apartment, as the government kept them locked in as a fire spread throughout their building.

Protests took on a fierce nature in response to that event, and last Saturday in Shanghai people held a vigil for the victims, while holding up blank white papers, which are a symbol of what they would like to say, yet can’t. The White Paper Protest has since begun to spread across China, including at Tsinghua University in Beijing and along the Chinese capital’s third Ring Road with images and videos of mass protests dotted by white.

According to Reuters, a 26-year-old protestor named Johnny stated that “The white paper represents everything we want to say but cannot say”.

The Chinese Communist Party is not known for its tolerance of dissent, and the courageous people of China are risking their lives by raising their voices.

UPDATE: As of this morning, there are reports that China is going to be backing down from the harshest of the Covid restrictions, after this week’s protests.

Igor Chudov reported about it here

The Spectacular Collapse of FTX – A Roundup

Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, which grew to become the 2nd largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, was accused of fraud last month when he filed for bankruptcy on behalf of FTX and his partner company, Alameda Research, a cryptocurrency trading firm. FTX is accused of using their client’s trading investments to fund Alameda Research without the client’s knowledge. Sam Bankman-Fried has so far suffered no legal consequences, although the implosion of these two companies has far-reaching implications that are far from being fully understood.

What is becoming clear is that due to the nature of major donations to a variety of political and social causes, the shadow of corruption hanging over this story will continue to be investigated for a long time to come.

It’s now been a few weeks since Sam Bankman-Fried officially filed for bankruptcy and the high-profile scandal has seemingly endless twists and turns. Powerful figures who operated in the shadows of FTX, and the flow of money from FTX to a variety of political and influential entities are central to the unraveling of this complicated story.

As expected, numerous journalists of the “alternative media” are doing a far better job digging through the dirt and putting together a clear picture for the public than their counterparts in the 24/7 corporate media world. The following pieces are long, yet fascinating, so make yourself a cup of coffee, and settle in for a wild ride:

  1. Sonia Elijah of Trial Site News focused on major donations from FTX to a variety of left-wing political causes, including the now-infamous TOGETHER trial that attempted to discredit Ivermectin as an effective tool to fight Covid, an organization that purports to plan for the next pandemic, and Democratic candidates.
  2. Revolver News published a detailed article drawing parallels between the FTX collapse and other financial scams, as well as laying out a theory for why USDT/Tether will be the next bubble to burst. Tether is what’s known as a “stablecoin” and it’s meant to be more or less tied to the US dollar.
  3. Mathew Crawford of Rounding the Earth Substack posted a long piece that digs into the nitty gritty details of the rise and fall of FTX, the cast of characters, the mainstream coverage of the scandal, and the dark side of where some of the money went.

This is a developing story that will likely have a long runway of coverage ahead.

Who is Raymond D Palmer? Author of paper in Biomedicine journal says post-vaccination adverse events are actually caused by anti-vax misinformation, not vaccines

As originally published on Substack

Here is proof that you can make a scientific case for literally anything, no matter how myopic or untethered from reality. You can do it under the banner of a peer-reviewed journal, you can do it in the name of science. The Science, even.

Behold, ‘Covid 19 vaccines and the misinterpretation of perceived side effects clarity on the safety of vaccines’, published in the latest quarterly issue of the peer-reviewed journal BioMedicine (Taipei).

The paper is in the format of a literature review, in which the author, Raymond D Palmer, mounts the following argument:

  • Anti-vax sentiment is at an all-time high
  • Reported adverse events after vaccination are also at an all-time high
  • Mental stress can cause symptoms that mirror post-vaccination adverse events (myocardial ischemia, renal artery constriction, palpitations, tachycardia)
  • A WHO-led study found no causality between post-vaccination cardiac adverse events and the vaccines themselves
  • Maybe the side effects are actually caused by stress-inducing anti-vax propaganda

Palmer cites a single WHO-led study in support of this claim that post-vaccination adverse events are not causally linked to the vaccines.1 The authors examined data from VigiBase only, for a one month period between Dec 2020-Jan 2021. They concluded that the vaccines had been administered predominantly to the aged and people with comorbidities, cohorts who were more likely to experience events similar to adverse reactions anyway, and so it could not be determined whether the adverse symptoms were vaccine-induced or were simply due to age and comorbidities. By the authors’ logic, almost all Covid deaths cannot be causally linked to Covid either. The authors did not state that causality could not be proven; they simply stated the obvious, that being that further research needed to be carried out.

Working off the flimsy presumption that the Covid vaccines are not the cause of post-vaccination adverse events – which requires completely ignoring an immense body of literature demonstrating causal links and explicating the mechanisms behind them – Palmer hypothesises that the anti-vaccination movement is causing the majority of side effects.

In other words, if you feel stressed, you’re more prone to a bad reaction. And if you think you’ll have a bad reaction, you’re more likely to have one. There’s some truth to that, for sure. The impact of the fear factor in exacerbating vaccine related adverse events is raised by Forrest Maready in his book The Autism Vaccine.2 It’s a principle of holistic health that beliefs and mindset influence your experience, and there is plenty of empirical evidence to support this.

I can’t help wondering if Palmer realises that the implication of his argument is that the safety of these products is dependent on the psychological condition of the recipient. In which case, what does that mean for the ‘safe and effective’ narrative?

But anti-vax ‘misinformation’ as the sole source of stress experienced at the time of vaccination? That’s a long bow.

I might have thought some of these stressors would get a mention:

coercive vaccination policies;

medical censorship;

loss of trust in government and public health response;

harsh lockdowns;

fear campaigns directed by nudge units;

separation of family units;

constant media coverage of new variants and the threat of Long Covid.

In summary, Palmer’s literature review is myopic to such a degree that I’m astounded that it passed peer review.

I seriously question whether this is a legitimate paper at all.

My suspicion was piqued, so I clicked through to Palmer’s PubMed listing. He has published 7 papers in total since 2019, 6 on anti-aging and cardiovascular health, and this most recent one on vaccine related adverse events. Fine, ok.

He is apparently the Chief Science Officer of Full Spectrum Biologics, a P/L based in my hometown of Perth, WA. This is where it gets weird.

The Full Spectrum Biologics site has the appearance of a sham site. The graphics are tacky, it has only a vague homepage and contact page, and there are no location or contact details. The contact page has an enquiry submission form that fails to load.

His Twitter account has accrued only 44 followers since 2013. Strange for a Chief Science Officer with 7 published papers.

The site in his bio is another anti-aging site,, equally tacky but with a few extra pages. The contact submission form works. He appears to be selling a course:

But when you watch the accompanying video, it turns out he is actually soliciting donations for human trials scheduled to begin in 2023.3

Human trials for what?

Palmer’s LinkedIn profile might give a clue.

mRNA Alchemist? What even is that?? (He has this in his bio on his Facebook page too).

Education-wise, he jumps from web design, to real estate, to electrical engineering. Then a course in astronomy and astrophysics. (Palmer is very into astronomy. This is his space photography site and this is a Perth Now feature on his 2009 solo space photography exhibition). Suddenly in 2019 he starts taking online courses in epigenetics, biochemistry, genetic engineering and the like. He publishes his first paper in a cardiovascular medicine journal the same year that he starts studying epigenetics, with no prior training in any related field.

He appears to have also been a Chief Science Officer for a company called Helium 3 Biotech from 2017-2021, quite the career move for an electrical engineer with an astronomy post-grad. This company was also based in Perth, and went into administration in November 2021. Full Spectrum Biologics was registered in June 2021.

Palmer’s LinkedIn also tells us that he speaks Chinese; he has been a volunteer crew member for Sea Shepherd for the past 15 years; and his top interest is Albert Bourla.

In between running a biotech company, publishing scientific papers, studying genetics and crewing for Sea Shepherd, Palmer found the time to publish a book in 2021.

He also has a low-fi anti-aging YouTube channel!

I wanted to find out more about his supposed businesses. The registrar details of his two websites are both are shielded by a proxy, meaning he has paid extra to hide his details behind a proxy company, so you can’t see his contacts. Both sites are hosted on GoDaddy servers in Singapore.

Something is up with Raymond D Palmer.

Click through to the follow up post below for the full conversation. It involves NIAID and NIH connections, NDAs, Hong Kong investors, and an Egyptian academic previously accused of aiding a suicide bomber. (Truly)
