“The Mueller Report” 4-19-19… Highlights from three articles related to it (from WDiM, Glenn Greenwald, Dailywire)

Well, I read the WDiM article first, and, as usual, it possessed several “fascinating” links. The other two articles are from two of that WDiM article.

These point out (to me at least) that the msm (main stream media (no caps, please)) knows, at some level, that the hammer is about to be dropped on them, and many others who chose to promote the “Russian interference” and “Trump-Russia collusion” agendas. msm is dissolving before our eyes.

Personally, my popcorn is ready for the last act of this wonderful show!

Russia Offers Press Availability To Counter Mueller Report Lies—Cowering In Terror US Media Fails To Even Respond(WDiM, 4-19-19)

“A… report… states that the telephonic press availability offer made yesterday by Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova to American journalists, whose intended purpose of was to point out the fact that the just released Mueller Report offered no actual evidence or proof that Russia meddled in the 2016 US Presidential Election, was met with total and complete silence… but whose silence becomes understandable upon the MoFA discovering that they were all left cowering in fearful terror upon their entering the White House yesterday to hear President Trump’s remarks on the Mueller Report and were met by the US Marine Corp Band playing the song “Edelweiss”…

“… this song was actually written by American songwriters Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein III exclusively for the 1959 musical “The Sound of Music”—which, in fact, aside from it being written 14-years after the Nazis were destroyed, belongs to a film that is arguably one of the most powerful and popular anti-Nazi movies ever made.”

Robert Mueller Did Not Merely Reject the Trump-Russia Conspiracy Theories. He Obliterated Them (Glenn Greenwald, The Intercept, 4-18-19)

“The two-pronged conspiracy theory that has dominated U.S. political discourse for almost three years – that (1) Trump, his family and his campaign conspired or coordinated with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, and (2) Trump is beholden to Russian President Vladimir Putin — was not merely rejected today by the final report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. It was obliterated: in an undeniable and definitive manner.

“Mueller, in addition to concluding that evidence was insufficient to charge any American with crimes relating to Russian election interference, also stated emphatically in numerous instances that there was no evidence – not merely that there was insufficient evidence to obtain a criminal conviction – that key prongs of this three-year-old conspiracy theory actually happened

“Several of the media’s most breathless and hyped “bombshells” were dismissed completely by Mueller… Regarding one of the most-cited pieces of evidence by Trump/Russia conspiracists – that Russia tried once Trump was nominated to shape his foreign policy posture toward Russia – Mueller concluded that there is simply no evidence to support it…

“Those responsible for this can refuse to acknowledge wrongdoing… But the contempt in which the media and political class is held by so much of the U.S. population – undoubtedly a leading factor that led to Trump’s election in the first place – will only continue to grow as a result, and deservedly so. People know they were scammed, that their politics was drowned for years by a hoax.

Press Left Terrified After White House Band Plays ‘Edelweiss’ Ahead Of Press Conference (DailyWire, 4-18-19)

“Members of the press were left reeling Thursday after the United States Marine Corps band played the song “Edelweiss” from the “Sound of Music” as reporters were being led into the White House for a presidential briefing on the Mueller report.

“[NYT reporter Maggie] Haberman is convinced the White House is subtly suggesting that the White House is simply overrun with Nazis, and that “Edelweiss” is somehow identified with Nazi Germany. What a connection!

“In the stage version of [The Sound of Music], “Edelweiss” is played only once by Captain von Trapp as a “resistance” type song about how he will miss the beauty of his homeland when it is annexed by the Nazis ahead of World War II.”
