Gab thumbnails are back (baby!!)… so I’ll continue to post there…

I just found out today that Gab is once again showing thumbnails when I post a Kp blog link. I’m very glad to see that, so I will continue posting there.

So here are the social media sites I’m posting to:

FaceBook Kp blog page (automatic, when WP blog post occurs): https://www.facebook.com/pg/kpblogpage/posts/?ref=page_internal
FaceBook personal page: https://www.facebook.com/kauilapele.kona
Twitter (automatic, when WP blog post occurs): https://twitter.com/kauilapele
Gab.com: https://gab.com/kauilapele
MeWe: https://mewe.com/profile/5a9c84d351ee972b7b031c80

As of today, there are 1545 followers on FaceBook (personal), 3697 on Twitter, 308 on Gab, and 96 on MeWe.

Currently, I’ve suspended posting on OnStellar.

Kp Note (11-15-18) about future use of all the “Alternative” social media sites.

Currently I’m on FaceBook and Twitter, to which the KP blog posts are automatically posted. The posts on those pages always have a thumbnail image and a few lines from the blog post. With the “alternative ones, Gab, MeWe, and OnStellar, only MeWe automatically uploads a thumbnail and a few lines of the post. Gab, since they recently had to move to a new server, now only posts a link to the post, and the link ite=self does not say anything about the content of the blog post. Onstellar is the same.

For Gab and Onstellar, in their current incarnations, it takes more work than I really care to do to make it presentable. I have to separately upload an image, then add the blog link, and then add a few lines of text. I’m getting to a point where I am just not willing to spend that much of my time and energy on finagling around to get the post to look decent on Gab and Onstellar. It is extremely distracting to the flow of energy.

Therefore, I can currently only state that the Kp blog posts will be posted to the FaceBook Kp blog page and Twitter.

I may still post to MeWe and my personal FaceBook page, but right now, I do not know.

My path is in transition, and I’m going to do whatever is least distracting to the works I am here to carry out. These not-easy-to-post-to social media sites are currently a distraction.

We’ll see where this goes.

Aloha, Kp

One more from Gab.com 10-29-18… “You can’t stop an idea” (and a couple related videos)

Another note from Andrew Torba. As I mentioned in yesterday’s Gab post, this is all backfiring on those who try to take down these “free speech” social media platforms. Styx666 lays out some rationale for why Gab was “taken down”, temporarily (it’s about $$, in part). And SGTReport talks to the cofounder of Minds.com about this as well.

Gab.com

Gab has spent the past 48 hours proudly working with the DOJ and FBI to bring justice to an alleged terrorist. Because of the data we provided, they now have plenty of evidence for their case. In the midst of this Gab has been no-platformed by essential internet infrastructure providers at every level. We are the most censored, smeared, and no-platformed startup in history, which means we are a threat to the media and to the Silicon Valley Oligarchy.

Gab isn’t going anywhere.

It doesn’t matter what you write. It doesn’t matter what the sophist talking heads say on TV. It doesn’t matter what verified nobodies say on Twitter. We have plenty of options, resources, and support. We will exercise every possible avenue to keep Gab online and defend free speech and individual liberty for all people.

You have all just made Gab a nationally recognized brand as the home of free speech online at a time when Silicon Valley is stifling political speech they disagree with to interfere in a US election.

The internet is not reality. TV is not reality. 80% of normal everyday people agree with Gab and support free expression and liberty. The online outrage mob and mainstream media spin machine are the minority opinion. People are waking up, so please keep pointing the finger at a social network instead of pointing the finger at the alleged shooter who holds sole responsibility for his actions.

No-platform us all you want. Ban us all you want. Smear us all you want.

You can’t stop an idea.

As we transition to a new hosting provider Gab will be inaccessible for a period of time. We are working around the clock to get Gab.com back online. Thank you and remember to speak freely.

Message from Gab.com 10-28-18… “As we transition to a new hosting provider Gab will be inaccessible for a period of time” (and a Styx video)

This came out today, and this was expected as they move their server service to another platform.

This is all backfiring on those who try to take down these “free speech” social media platforms. I wrote a comment to the Gab co-founder, saying something like, “How great this is that this happened, because it will bring a lot more attention to alternative social media sites like Gab.com.”

Styxhexenhammer666, in his video, outlines how this is exactly what he predicted one year ago. He emphasizes his message with an “f word” or two.

———————————————

Gab.com is under attack. We have been systematically no-platformed by App Stores, multiple hosting providers, and several payment processors. We have been smeared by the mainstream media for defending free expression and individual liberty for all people and for working with law enforcement to ensure that justice is served for the horrible atrocity committed in Pittsburgh. Gab will continue to fight for the fundamental human right to speak freely.

As we transition to a new hosting provider Gab will be inaccessible for a period of time. We are working around the clock to get Gab.com back online. Thank you and remember to speak freely.

I warned that echo chambers would lead to fanatic criminality post-deplatforming. Also it’s funny to see the corporations blame Trump when Bowers hated him, or Gab, which itself has no political modus operandi beyond free speech.

Gab… being “attacked”… Founder says “Gab will likely be down for weeks” (and a note from Neon Revolt)

[Update from Andrew Torba: GAB IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE I don’t care what we have to do, I don’t care what it takes. We will build everything from the ground up if we have to. We may be down for a few weeks. The truth is we do not know yet. We are working on solutions. We will figure it out. Keep fighting for freedom. We sure will be. Please pray for the victims and their families. I know many of you are upset at what is happening to Gab, but the focus should be on them.]

Although I did not copy the original text before Gab shut down today (which apparently it has… keep getting 404, 502 errors). [2 minutes later] Okay, now it’s back up. So I’ve copied and pasted the text from the posts below.

Andrew Torba, Gab’s cofounder, wrote the post below. Prior to this (by about 5 hours) he wrote that PayPal had banned Gab from using its services.

Clearly (to me, at least), this is a major last ditch effort to silence those who are not in line with “the MSM narrative” (sorry, “the msm narrative”, since the standard msm channels have not earned all caps, in my view). This will all sort itself out. One step at a time. Also, it’s a clear message, for those who wish to still use social media, to continue to have multiple channels for posting.

Breaking: @joyent, Gab’s new hosting provider, has just pulled our hosting service. They have given us until 9am on Monday to find a solution. Gab will likely be down for weeks because of this. Working on solutions. We will never give up on defending free speech for all people.

CBS is attacking Gab, frankly, because I’m here, and having wild success with it.

The Technocrats tried to ban me on Twitter (for posting a Sam Hyde meme, of all things). They deplatformed me on Facebook. And now, because they can’t control the Gab admins to get rid of me here, they’re trying to dismantle the site, piece-by-piece, utilizing attacks like today as an excuse.

Watch them come for Cloudflare, next, to try and increase Gab’s server load.

It doesn’t matter what you do, Mockingbirds. You can’t stop the #QArmy. I doubt you’ll win this battle, but know that I surely look forward to the day when all of you #Clowns are carted off in a paddy wagon to Gitmo.

And no, Dan Patterson. “Hate Speech” is not a legal term. Free Speech encompasses speech you may find personally offensive. Threats of violence do not fall under the banner of Free Speech, but “Hate Speech?” Yeah, that’s protected under the law in America. Cart your sorry tuckus up to Cucknadia if you want “Hate Speech” policed. The concept doesn’t exist here in America.

I’ve rarely seen such a cascade of bald-faced lies rattled off, one after the other.

Neon Revolt Gab post 10-21-18… “The #NPC MEMES broke the AI Twitter was using to run their bot/influence network!!!”

[Kp update +5 minutes after posting: sorry I forgot the image attached to this Gab post. I just added it.]

This has got to be, if true, an absolutely hilarious result of the #NPC meme! (see this previous Kp blog post)) And I would presume Neon Revolt (Gab page) would know.

Lucas Nolan, Breitbart.com 9-20-18… “Social Media Platform Gab to Silicon Valley: ‘You Will Be Replaced’”

Gab.com CEO, Andrew Torba

In this short article, Lucas Nolan talks with Gab CEO Andrew Torba. Surely more and more and more people are going to alternative social media sites, as the major ones (Twitter, Facebook, Google) are tending more and more towards throttling free speech, and trying to decide for its users what is “appropriate” content.

This relates to this prior Kp blog post.

“Gab.ai… has long aimed to act as an alternative to sites such as Twitter and Facebook… and aims to provide an infrastructure for tech developers that wish to grow their own platforms and products without being forced to go through leftist companies based in Silicon Valley.

“Andrew Torba spoke to Breitbart News about the websites rebranding stating: “This week Gab announced a rebrand to Gab.com in order to continue our mission of defending free expression and individual liberty online for all people.”

“We are maturing as a platform, as a brand, and as a community of people from around the world. We seek to free humanity from the chains of Silicon Valley’s data silo, psychological manipulation, censorship, and ideological echo chambers.

“…Torba stated: “Gab has over 670,000 users from around the world and we are adding 100,000+ new users every month. Our goal is to make Gab the home of free speech online.”

“Gab is also opening a new round of funding where users of the site can directly invest in Gab themselves, helping to build the free speech platform even further:”

Social Media Platform Gab to Silicon Valley: ‘You Will Be Replaced’

Free speech social media platform Gab.ai has rebranded as Gab.com and aims to become a tech hub for “liberty-minded tech startups” that wish to avoid connections to leftist Silicon Valley groups.

Gab.ai, the free-speech themed social media platform founded by CEO Andrew Torba, has long aimed to act as an alternative to sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Now Gab is rebranding as Gab.com and aims to provide an infrastructure for tech developers that wish to grow their own platforms and products without being forced to go through leftist companies based in Silicon Valley.

Andrew Torba spoke to Breitbart News about the websites rebranding stating: “This week Gab announced a rebrand to Gab.com in order to continue our mission of defending free expression and individual liberty online for all people.” Torba continued: “Gab.com is the next chapter in our story. We are maturing as a platform, as a brand, and as a community of people from around the world. We seek to free humanity from the chains of Silicon Valley’s data silo, psychological manipulation, censorship, and ideological echo chambers.”

Torba stated that the platform wants to create a platform where all ideas can be expressed, saying: “We are in the process of building out free speech-friendly infrastructure so that one day, other liberty-minded tech startups can build using our tools and avoid any connection at all to Silicon Valley.”

Discussing Gab’s growth worldwide and how it can act as an open communications platform when other social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter censor their uses, Torba stated: “Gab has over 670,000 users from around the world and we are adding 100,000+ new users every month. Our goal is to make Gab the home of free speech online.”

“Approximately 150,000 of our users have joined from Brazil after intense censorship by Silicon Valley during their ongoing Presidential election. We are also seeing explosive growth from India and Sweeden after a recent wave of censorship aimed at major influencers on the right,” said Torba.

Gab is also opening a new round of funding where users of the site can directly invest in Gab themselves, helping to build the free speech platform even further:

“To help us accomplish our goals and build out our free speech infrastructure, we are opening up a round of funding today directly to The People,” said Torba. “Our users can invest in the company, own stock, and join us on our journey to build the home of free speech online. This is also sending a powerful message to Silicon Valley: The People can fund, power, and build our own platforms, you will be replaced.”

Gab has raised $280,000 in less than 24 hours with its new campaign.

Gab.com 10-10-18… “Gab.com Cited by Google as a Threat to Their Censorship Plans”

Well, I noticed this earlier this morning, and since I joined Gab.ai (now Gab.com) several months ago, I am finding it more and more useful and and “information-providing”. Many have moved to Gab, and I believe that they are likely on a constructive track, as they are now being “called out” by Google as a “threat”.

Sorry Silicon Valley (cabal) folks… censorship ain’t gonna work. More and more and more and more and more and more and more people are waking up.

I’ll publish the Breitbart article referencing Gab just after posting this.

“Yesterday Breitbart published a leaked internal Google briefing about the shift Silicon Valley is making towards more censorship online. This followed leaks earlier in the day from The Intercept, which show how Google is contradicting themselves in regards to the censored search engine they are building for the Chinese government.

“On page 53 of this internal Google briefing, Gab.com is cited as a “challenger app” and notes how users are moving to Gab in response to the censorship of Silicon Valley.

“Silicon Valley has shown their true colors, which is why they recognize Gab.com as a threat to their control and dominance over the internet. They are rejecting the cherished internet ideals of liberty and free expression in exchange for censorship and partnerships with the Chinese government.

“We are adding tens of thousands of new users every week, and our funding round is being completely powered by you, The People. In about 20 days we have raised $670,000 and will quickly meet our goal of $1.07m.”

Gab.com Cited by Google as a Threat to Their Censorship Plans
(go about 2/3 down that page to see the article)

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday Breitbart published a leaked internal Google briefing about the shift Silicon Valley is making towards more censorship online. This followed leaks earlier in the day from The Intercept, which show how Google is contradicting themselves in regards to the censored search engine they are building for the Chinese government. You can read the briefing that Breitbart published here: Google: “The Good Censor”.

On page 53 of this internal Google briefing, Gab.com is cited as a “challenger app” and notes how users are moving to Gab in response to the censorship of Silicon Valley. Google argues for a “European” approach to speech standards on the internet, favoring “civility” over freedom.

IMAGE (p. 53 of Google briefing)

Silicon Valley has shown their true colors, which is why they recognize Gab.com as a threat to their control and dominance over the internet. They are rejecting the cherished internet ideals of liberty and free expression in exchange for censorship and partnerships with the Chinese government.

This is why Gab is winning and will continue to win. We are adding tens of thousands of new users every week, and our funding round is being completely powered by you, The People. In about 20 days we have raised $670,000 and will quickly meet our goal of $1.07m. We are hiring more engineers to speed up product development, make the site more user friendly, and build out our own infrastructure to escape the chains of Silicon Valley.

If you’re interested in investing and becoming a shareholder you can learn more here and invest as little as $252.

PS: developers please check out our new API.

Thanks and remember to speak freely!
