New Moon In Aquarius: Proceeding With New Ideas

We are having a New Moon in Aquarius on February 4th in the West which will be February 5th in the Eastern part of the world. This is initiating a 29.5-day Lunar cycle and a new wave of energy for the coming month. This cycle will peak at the Full Moon in Virgo on February 19th.

This New Moon follows a Lunar and Solar Eclipse which was part of the previous lunar cycle. It’s important to keep in mind that the energy of the eclipses we had in January will continue to play out over the coming months. You can read more about them here.

Aquarius season began on January 20th, one day prior to the last Lunar Eclipse. However, this New Moon accentuates its energies even more so. It is also occurring right in the middle of this sign, which is also the middle of winter. Traditionally, pagans celebrated this period as ‘Imbolc.’

Aquarius is associated with idealism and innovation, as it tries to figure out how to do things in a better way and takes the future into consideration. Although it can be idealistic, it applies itself intellectually and rationally, yet can also be overly theoretical. Being a fixed sign, traditionally ruled by Saturn, it can also be stubborn and unyielding when it comes to the ideas and perspectives that it has already decided on.

Aquarius is also about friends, social networks, the group, the team, and the collective. However, it can also be detached socially and likes to spread itself out with regards to relationships. In more modern approaches to astrology, the planet Uranus has been assigned as a ruler of Aquarius. Uranus reflects the inventive, revolutionary, unconventional, and even rebellious potentials of Aquarius. I personally view Saturn as its primary ruler and observe Uranus as a sub-ruler or representative of certain qualities of Aquarius.

Over the last year and a half, we have had Eclipses as well as Mars Retrograde occurring in Aquarius. This has been a period of shifting and changes in regards to how we incorporate Aquarian themes in our lives, with the previous Lunar Eclipse in Leo being the final instalment of this process. Therefore it is possible that this Lunar cycle (and the previous weeks) could trigger themes that have already been playing out since 2017.

New Moon Conjunct Mercury and Sextile Jupiter, Mercury in aspect with Mars conjunct Uranus

This New Moon is aligned with Mercury in the same sign, six days after it was in its ‘superior conjunction’ with the Sun. This is a period in which we can proceed forward with greater clarity in regards to things that have been seeded in the previous months. We can better implement our ideas in a way that is more aligned with our true wants. This combined with Mercury in aspect with Mars, can signify a period of increased Mercurial action such as thinking, planning, communicating and writing.

Mercury is also moving towards a sextile with Uranus which is strongest on February 9th. This can stimulate the inventiveness of Aquarius, and can be a time of insight, new ideas, or thinking in a unique or unconventional way. Mars is aligned with Uranus which will be strongest from February 12th-13th yet will be building up in the days leading up to it. This can reflect taking action in a way that is different, liberating, rebellious, but it can also be impulsive and erratic. It is possible that some changes could come up that could alter how we apply ourselves.

Jupiter in Sagittarius is also connected to this New Moon and Mercury configuration. This can be good for learning, teaching, exploring, and considering the big picture. Philosophical thinking could also be a theme. This can also be good for plans or actions connected to media, marketing, or even travels. This combined with the Mercury-Mars aspect can also manifest as short trips and moving around a lot.

Saturn Sextile Neptune, Chiron in Final Stretch of Pisces

Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, is in a sextile with Neptune in Pisces which peaked in the previous week and will still play a role over the coming weeks and in different periods throughout the year. This is a great influence for taking a structured, disciplined or committed approach when it comes to ideals, dreams, inspirations, creativity, spirituality, or even anything that involves selflessness, compassion, or healing.

Chiron is finishing up its process in Pisces before returning to Aries on February 18th. It began its journey in Pisces in 2010 and the last time it was there before that was from 1960-1969. Known as the ‘wounded healer’, Chiron triggers both wounds and the potential healing of those wounds. It also serves as a bridge and helps to facilitate holistic awareness and approaches towards healing and empowerment.

Chiron has been influencing Piscean themes which is about spirituality, oneness, compassion, psychic potential, creativity, and inspiration. This energy could also trigger wounds, blockages, or negative traits of Pisces to help facilitate healing, awareness, or transformation. This can include escapism, intoxication, delusion, and deception. Pisces can also easily drift from light to dark, either consciously or by lacking discernment. .

Since 2010 we have seen a major spiritual shift in the collective, with many people become more spiritually aware through personal experiences as opposed to the influence of organized religion.  Last time it was in Pisces it had a similar effect. However, this was before Chiron was discovered and seeded into the collective consciousness and therefore its influence in Pisces in the 60’s was not as strong as it is during its recent passage.

During this final stretch of Chiron in Pisces over the next few weeks, we could experience some sort of concluding factor of this process. This combined with Saturn sextile Neptune (mentioned above), can indicate a period of making constructive and beneficial progress around these themes.

Making Intentions and Things To Consider

What has been coming up for you over the last month and how should you take a different approach based on this? Did you have any insights, conversations, realizations, or increased clarity that came up around January 29th-30th? In what new ways can you approach your friendships or social networks? How can you assert yourself in new ways?

What realistic steps do you need to take to help make your dreams, visions, and ideals a reality? What areas of your life are calling for some sort of expansion? What aspect of your life wants to healed? What do you need to overcome in order to help you become a more whole and spiritually embodied version of yourself?

These are just some examples of what to consider or focus your intentions on at this time, however, it is good to reflect on anything else that is coming up for you. It is generally best to make any intentions within the first 24 hours following a New Moon. It will be occurring at 9:04pm Universal Time, you can click here to see what that is in your time zone.

Supermoon Total Eclipse In Leo: Making Changes To Support Our Self-Expression

We are having a Total Lunar Eclipse, commonly referred to as a ‘Blood Moon’, which will appear in its totality on the night of January 20th leading into morning of the 21st in the western world. It was also be a Supermoon which is when it appears larger due to its closer proximity to the Earth. The entire eclipse process from beginning to end will be visible from the Americas as well as parts of Northern Europe and parts of the European West Coast, including the UK.

It will also appear in totality throughout Western Europe, most of Central Europe, Western Africa, and parts of Russia. It will appear partially in the Middle East, Africa, parts of Russia, and the Northern half of Japan. It will peak at 5:16am Universal Time (12:16 EST), and will begin just over 2 hours prior. You can click here to see what that is in your time zone.

This Lunar Eclipse follows a Solar Eclipse in Capricorn that occurred on January 5th/6th and initiated this lunar cycle. The energies of each Eclipse generally plays out over the following 6 months and can begin up to 6 weeks prior. However, they are also part of a 2 year process in which the Lunar Nodes and other Eclipses are in the same signs.

This eclipse season has the energies of the Eclipse/Lunar Node process that began two years ago in the Leo/Aquarius axis and also the new process in the Cancer/Capricorn axis in which we have been transitioning into. This Blood Moon in Leo marks the final Eclipse of the Leo/Aquarius re-orientation, and it’s possible that the themes that play out in your life can be connected to something that has already been playing out.

Total Lunar Eclipse In Leo Opposite Sun in Aquarius & Mercury, Square Uranus

A Lunar Eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon which is when the Earth gets in the way of the Sun’s light and dims it during its climax. This reflects a furthering shift in our lives in relation to the Leo-Aquarius polarity.

Leo is about our individual self-expression, what brings us joy, and inspiration from the heart. It is also associated with creativity, performing, passion, children, romance, hobbies, and leadership. Leo is about what makes us great as individuals.  This sign is also associated with the ego and the eclipses that have been occurring here can help to facilitate changes in how we express our ego.

Although Aquarius has individualistic qualities that it shares with Leo, it is also the sign of friends, groups, social networks, the team, and humanity. It views the unique and authentic qualities of an individual as an important and contributing factor to the collective. Aquarius is also intellectual, progressive, and innovative. It can be aloof, overly objective, too scientific, dispassionate, impersonal, and detached.

This eclipse process over the last few years can reflect changes in how we apply both Leo and Aquarius qualities, and also how they correlate with each other. The focus is more about stepping into Leo energies in new ways, and changes on the Aquarian side to help support that. Both beginnings and endings around themes connected to both signs can occur.

Similarly to the Last Lunar Eclipse in the Summer, this one (along with Mercury) is in a square with Uranus on the Aries/Taurus cusp. Uranus here emphasizes change as well as the individualistic qualities of both of these signs, while also sharing other Aquarian themes as well.

Being in a square, it can also manifest in a challenging or strong way. It can be separative, rebellious, or disruptive. Perhaps sudden and unexpected things can play out, or bring instability to an area of our life. It can also be liberating and revolutionary for us. With Mercury here on the South Node, this could also indicate changing or releasing something connected to the way we think or communicate.

Venus Conjunct Jupiter, Square Neptune

Venus in Sagittarius is moving towards a conjunction with Jupiter, while they are both in a square with Neptune in Pisces and a trine with Mars in Aries. This energy can be expansive and fortunate socially, romantically, and for some people financially. Fun and pleasure can be connected to things like travel, education, or even spiritual and creative pursuits.

However, their can also be some confusion around these area as well. Being excessive around indulgences, pleasures, spending money, escapism, intoxication, or anything fantasy based can also be a theme. This energy is strongest from January 21st-22nd.

Mars Square Saturn & Trine Jupiter, Saturn Sextile Neptune

Mars is in a square with Saturn while moving towards a trine with Jupiter. Saturn is also in a sextile with Neptune. This can be a great energy for taking disciplined or structured action towards goals, aspirations, ideals, or anything that broadens our horizons.

Saturn pushes us to be realistic and cautious in how we take action while Jupiter reflects acting in an expansive way. Saturn can also bring some restrictions or obstacles which can help us change our course towards something more ideal. Much of these energies mentioned in this section are strong from January 20th-26th.

Mercury Approaching Superior Conjunction With Sun

Mercury joins the Sun on January 29th/30th in its ‘Superior Conjunction’ with the Sun. From our perspective on Earth, this is when Mercury is aligned with the Sun however it is on the other side of it. From this period onward, it is initiating its next phase in which it travels ahead of the Sun. We can have greater clarity regarding what has been building up or seeded since late November.

Our minds can be more aligned with our true needs and self-expression. Over the coming months, we can better implement our ideas and whatever we have been thinking about with greater confidence/direction in comparison to the previous two months.

To Consider During This Period

How can you better tap into your authentic self-expression? What inspires you and brings you joy? How can you bring more love into your life? What do need to change to make that happen? What do you want to create? Do you need to separate or liberate from something that is holding you back? How can you expand socially in way that is supportive of your authentic self? How can you make your ideals and dreams a reality? How do you feel during this eclipse period and what has been coming up for you?

These are just some examples of things to consider but not limited to them either. If you decide to use this energy to intentionally release something from your life, it is best to start that after the Moon begins to wane after the peak of the Full Moon, or even over the following two weeks.

The exact moment of the peak will be at 5:16am Universal Time on January 21st. You can click here to see what that is in your time zone. If the eclipse is visible in your location, remember that it begins approximately two hours before the peak and two hours following, and also depends on what time the Moon rises and sets in your location.

Solar Eclipse In Capricorn: Redefining Ambitions & Duties

We are having a partial Solar Eclipse in Capricorn which happens on January 5th in the Americas and on January 6th everywhere else in the world. This is a supercharged New Moon which influences a longer term period then a regular New Moon. It will be visible from Japan, Korea, most of Mongolia, parts of Central and Eastern China, and Southwestern Alaska.

This one marks the beginning of eclipse season which occurs every 6 months when a New Moon and Full Moon occur near the Lunar Nodes, which is where the path of the Sun and Moon meet from our perspective on Earth. Most of the time there are two eclipses, such as in January, however there can also be three in some cases. This one is followed by a Total Lunar Eclipse in Leo on January 20th/21st.

Solar Eclipses reflect changes and shifts which affect the 6 months following and could also influence up to 6 weeks prior. You may not actually notice the effects around the time it occurs, but perhaps could feel it, and then see it actually play out in the weeks or months following. (Join my mailing list here to get my article on the next eclipse and other content).

The Lunar Nodes recently moved into the Cancer-Capricorn polarity in November and will be there until Spring 2020. They were in Leo-Aquarius prior to that, since May 2017. However, we had our first Cancer eclipse last summer and will have our last Leo eclipse coming up in a few weeks as this is still the transition period. The final eclipses in Cancer-Capricorn will occur in the Summer of 2020.

The positions of the Eclipses and the Nodes reflect an evolutionary process in how we work with the energies of these signs. What results from this series of eclipses will have longer-term effects even beyond this period.

Solar Eclipse In Capricorn Conjunct Saturn and Pluto

This Solar Eclipse is on the South Node side of the polarity. The shifts that could occur, both challenges and developments, are more about  changes or what we need to let go of, in relation to the energies of Capricorn to help facilitate a different balance with Cancer.

Negative expressions of Capricorn could come up which would ultimately push these changes on us. However, South Node eclipses can also push us to work with its energies in a different and more positive way as well. The areas of life in which it manifests also depends on how it is interacting with your natal astrology chart/blueprint.

Capricorn is the sign of ambition, career, duty, business, achievement, responsibility, discipline, mastery, and governance. It can be conservative, calculated, practical, orderly, realistic, authoritative, controlling, cautious, and worldly. It is a social climber and concerned with status. Capricorn energy can be serious, cold, and unrelenting.

This eclipse is occurring close to Saturn and Pluto which are also in the same sign. With Saturn being the ruler of Capricorn, it emphasizes some of the themes mentioned in the previous paragraph. It can also trigger issues connected to boundaries, restrictions, and structures.

Pluto’s energies also come into the equation and also amplifies some Capricorn themes. Its energy is powerful, transformative, deep, evolutionary, resourceful, and sexual.

It can also be obsessive, controlling, intense, manipulative, dark, destructive, and jealous. It rules over secrets, hidden matters, desires, the unconscious mind, and the underworld. It can also represent psychoanalysis, shadow selves, purging, death and rebirth. Some of these themes may come up from January 10th-11th or even around January 18th/19th.

Both Saturn and Pluto are real and serious energies. They can really emphasize ending, releasing, and constricting, especially with all of this energy occurring near the South Node in Capricorn.

Solar Eclipse Sextile Neptune, Jupiter Square Neptune

This Eclipse (with Saturn) is also in a harmonious sextile with Neptune which can help to ease some of the hard energy of Saturn and Pluto although its influence is more subtle. The shifts and developments reflected by this eclipse could play out through harmonizing ideals, spirituality, sensitivity, or compassion with our material goals or duties.

Jupiter in Sagittarius is moving towards a square with Neptune. This is one main astrological transits of this year and lasts until early fall. It peaks from January 8th-18th, and is also strong again in mid June and then in mid-late September.

At best this energy can be inspiring and compassionate. Expansive pursuits such as learning or travel may be based around beliefs, faith, spirituality, and creativity. This can be great for mystical experiences. However, it is a square which can easily bring the more challenging manifestations of this combination such as being unrealistic, lack of attention to detail, overly idealistic, or perhaps overindulging in escapist or intoxicating behaviour.

Uranus Going Direct, Mercury Square Mars, Venus Quincunx Uranus

Uranus is nearly stopped in the sky as it will be ending its retrograde which began in August and going forward again on January 6th. It entered Taurus in May and then returned to Aries where it is currently, and now will be on its way again to Taurus (enters early March) where it will stay until 2026.

During the weeks around when it changes motion, like it is currently, Uranus themes can come up strongly. There can be some surprises, liberating actions, or beginning to move forward in an innovative way. It can also manifest as shake ups, disruptions, separation, or rebellion. Globally, sometimes natural or man made disasters could occur when Uranus is highlighted.

Mercury recently entered Capricorn while in a square with Mars newly in Aries. Our communications and minds can be very energetic, productive, yet impulsive. We can move around a lot handling errands. However, conflicts, arguments, impatience, and competitiveness can also occur more easily. Ideas can be challenged and spoken word can be aggressive. This peaks January 7th-8th.

Venus is in a quincunx with Uranus which is strongest during this eclipse. Any of the Uranus energies (mentioned two paragraphs above) that manifest could have a challenging effect on relationships, money, aesthetics, or pleasures. Some adjustments may be required due to changes that come up. Venus is also in a trine with Chiron which can have a healing effect on relations or values, or perhaps people coming together that wouldn’t normally so.

Making Intentions And Things To Consider

What do you to need change when it comes to how you handle your duties, ambitions, or career? Have you been too limiting, serious, overworked, cautious, or calculated at the expense of emotional fulfillment or having a more joyous life? What attitudes, behaviors, obsessions, or types of actions do you need to change, transform, or purge so that you can truly expand? What aspects of your life do you need to be more realistic about?

These are just some examples of what to consider during this time. However, keep in mind that the energies of this eclipse will be a part of the backdrop over the next 6 months and some of the themes connected to this eclipse may not be as apparent yet.

If you wish to make any intentions, it is generally best to do so within the first 24 hours following the New Moon/Solar Eclipse. The exact/peak time of it will be at 1:28am Universal Time on January 6th which is January 5th in the Americas. Click here to see what that is in your time zone.

Total Lunar Eclipse In Leo: Nurturing Our Heart’s Desires

We are having a Total Lunar Eclipse in Leo on January 31st. These eclipses are also referred to as ‘Blood Moons’ due to the reddish color that occurs, and interestingly this is also a ‘Blue Moon’ as it will be the second Full Moon of the calendar month of January. And last but not least, this Full Moon eclipse will also be a ‘Supermoon’ which occurs when Full Moon’s are closer to the Earth causing them to appear bigger. This combination of all 3 things hasn’t occurred in North America in over 150 years. However, it did occur in Eastern parts of the world on the lunar eclipse on December 30th 1982 which was a Blue Moon outside of North America.

Unlike a Total Solar Eclipse, like the one we had on August 21st, Total Lunar Eclipses are visible over a larger geographical region wherever the Moon is above the horizon. This is because it is created by the shadow of the Earth as opposed to the shadow of the Moon which is much smaller. The entire Total Lunar Eclipse process lasts over 5 hours, however, the Full Eclipse lasts for an hour and sixteen minutes. Click here to if it will be visible in your location.

Eclipses occur every 6 months, usually in a series of 2 with a Lunar and Solar eclipse happening back to back, but in some cases we can also have 3 occur in a series. They happen when we have a New Moon or Full Moon near where the path of the Moon meets the ecliptic, which is the apparent path of the Sun from our Earth based perspective. These points are known as the Lunar Nodes. The closer to the nodes they occur, then the more totality the eclipse will have. We will also be having a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on February 15th, which will be a partial eclipse as this New Moon will be further away from the nodes from this lunar eclipse.

Astrologically, eclipses reflect changes and shifts in our lives which could start in the weeks or month prior, but they can also play out over the six months following until the next series of eclipses. Symbolically, eclipse season can be seen as starting and ending a chapter in our lives, with some eclipse periods reflecting that much more profoundly than others.

Lunar Eclipse In Leo Conjunct Ceres

Eclipses in the Leo-Aquarius polarity began almost a year ago, but this energy started to increase even more so when the Lunar Nodes moved into these signs in May, which was followed by the Summer eclipses in those signs as well. The North Node, which is in Leo, points towards an energy in which we need to learn to express in new ways. The South Node, which is in Aquarius, reflects aspects of that sign that is not serving us and we need to move beyond.

Leo is about tapping into what brings us joy, being in our heart, our creative self-expression, leading, and tapping into what makes us great and unique. This sign is also associated with children, hobbies, romance, sports, performing arts, and what we do for fun. It is possible that for some people that things which started in the summer related to these energies may be culminating at this time.

This eclipse is aligned with Ceres, which is part of the asteroid belt and is classified as a minor planet. It brings its themes into this current eclipse period and over the coming months.  Ceres is a feminine and motherly energy associated with the way we nurture ourselves and others. It is also connected to our inner needs, self-care, and doing what is good for us and our loved ones which sometimes could involve some sort of sacrifice. Ceres also rules over food, nutrition, fertility, and agriculture, and could even be connected to eating disorders and overcoming them.

Lunar Eclipse Quincunx Neptune and Opposing Venus and Sun In Aquarius

This eclipse is in a quincunx aspect with Neptune which is in a semi-sextile aspect with the Sun conjunct Venus in Aquarius. Neptune here can amplify the sacrifice theme of Ceres, however, we need to be cautious of self sacrificing at the expense of our inner needs and self nurturing.  Circumstances around our relationships, friends, groups, colleagues, and social network is where this has the potential to play out.

We may need to decide what needs to be sacrificed in order to help us find more joy and to better take care of ourselves or those in our personal lives. Neptune here can also bring challenges related to confusion, deception, illness, escapism, or being too caught up in an illusion instead of what is real. Externally in our relationships, delusional or flaky behaviour could also be a source of challenges and need for adjustments.

Saturn In Capricorn Combined With Leo and Ceres

Saturn is still fresh in its sign of Capricorn which started near the winter solstice. This can ultimately be a time of restructuring, redefining, as well as laying foundations connecting to our careers, ambitions, and long term goals. However, considering the Leo emphasis at this time, a big part of this is to fulfill our ambitions in a way that brings us joy and is heart centred. It is about being in alignment with what it is that we truly want instead of being in our heads and just blindly going for the hustle.

Going back to the Ceres themes mentioned above, this heavenly body is very similar to the sign of Cancer which is the opposite of Capricorn. Nurturing our inner needs, our personal lives, and our heart’s desires is an important factor to consider as we build structures and lay foundations in our lives over the next few years.

Things To Consider At This Time

What is your heart’s desire, what is it that you want to create? How can you better take care of yourself and challenges in your personal life? How can you apply and shine in your gifts and talents in a way that is a true reflection of who you are? What changes should you make to your nutritional intake in order to feel more sustained, healthy, and to help you to be a much more effective conduit of your creative expression and higher self?

These are just some examples of what could be coming up, but not limited to them either. If you decide to use this energy to intentionally release something from your life, it is best to start that when the Moon starts to wane after the peak of the Eclipse, or even over the following two weeks. The exact moment of the peak will be at 1:27pm Universal Time on January 31st. You can click here to see what that is for your time zone. For the exact timeline of the eclipse, click here.

New Moon In Capricorn: Developing Mastery

We are starting a new lunar cycle with a New Moon in Capricorn on January 16th/17th. New Moons mark a new wave of energy for the month, with this one leading us into eclipse season, which peaks with a Lunar Eclipse in Leo in two weeks. Although this lunation is not an eclipse itself, it is very much connected to the next one coming up, similar to the undertow of a big wave approaching the shore.

The energies of eclipses usually start to creep up slowly in the 6 weeks leading up to them and they also influence the following 6 months until the next series of eclipses. The astrological configurations and placements of the eclipses signify changes and shifts, or you could also view it as the ‘next chapter’.

Therefore, although much of this article will be covering the astrological energies of this New Moon and the the two weeks following it, it’s important consider that the eclipse energies, which can bring changes, are also a big part of the backdrop right now. The Leo Lunar Eclipse will occur on January 31st, and this will be followed by a Solar Eclipse that will occur in Aquarius on February 15th. I will be writing separate articles for these, if you would like to ensure that you receive them, you can do so by signing up on my mailing list here.

New Moon In Capricorn With Four Planets In The Same Sign

We started Capricorn season on the winter solstice as always, and the energies of this sign are highly amped up due to many planets being placed there. It’s about structure, ambitions, goals, career, social status, responsibilities, and hard work. It is cautious, conservative, and pragmatic. As an Earth sign, it has the qualities of practicality, reliability, solidity and being grounded. This element is very much orientated around the physical and material world.

The ruler of Capricorn, which is Saturn, recently came home to this sign where it will be for the next 2.5 years (approximately). In this sign, Saturn also really emphasizes the themes mentioned above. This is a period to consider our long term goals and building towards them, like the mountain goat that is slowly but surely working its way to the top. In whatever area Capricorn is in your natal chart, which is based on your exact birth time, is where Saturn will be doing this.

New Moon In Aspect With Uranus and Venus

This New Moon is separating from a square with Uranus in which its influence was strongest in the days leading up, however, it can still impact the upcoming month or next few weeks, at the very least. It really emphasizes the ‘wild card’ energy as well as the changes and shifts that  an eclipse can bring.

At worst, Uranus can bring surprises, disruptions, separations, rebellion, and even losses. However, it can also help us to awaken, release, or push us to take a new approach to something. With Venus also close by, some people have (or will) experience this in their relationships, friendships, love life, as well as anything to do with money, pleasures, aesthetics, values, or value of something.

Mars Trine Chiron Aspecting New Moon, Jupiter Sextile Pluto

Mars in Scorpio is in a trine with Chiron, which is also tied into this New Moon by aspect. This is a great energy for tapping into our gifts, taking a holistic approach to things, as well as addressing wounds and taking actions towards any required healing we may need. It is possible that some of this could be related to Venus themes mentioned above. Uranus, in a semi-sextile to Chiron, can also help to liberate from certain blockages which can help us to achieve some of the previously mentioned possibilities in the first sentence of this paragraph.

Jupiter in Scorpio in a sextile with Pluto in Capricorn reinforces some of the influence of Mars trine Chiron. Both of these influences combined can be transformational and empowering, however, Jupiter’s aspect with Pluto will be in and out throughout the year as well. This aspect also emphasizes the Capricorn themes of pushing towards our goals. Things that were beneath the surface, or in which we were unconscious about, may even be revealed at this time.  This can also be good for studying deep subjects or gaining a deeper understanding of something.

Making Intentions And Things To Consider

What are your goals and ambitions and what do you need to do to fulfill them? What can you integrate into your life to help you shine and achieve mastery at what you do? What do you need to liberate yourself from in order to bring more harmony into your life? What needs to be transformed? What activities, modalities, or exercises can you to help to empower yourself and develop a stronger mindset?

These are just some examples of what your intentions can be oriented around, but they don’t need to be limited to them. The exact time of this New Moon will be at 9:17pm Universal Time on January 16th. You can click here to see what that is in your time zone. It is best to make your intentions as close to the New Moon as possible and even up a half hour prior to when it occurs. If that is not possible, they can even be done within the first 24 hours following.
