(Justin Deschamps) During times of great chaos and uncertainty, fear of the unknown can cause us to slip into a paranoid, irrational, and socially toxic version of ourselves. During the pandemic, some have hoarded medical supplies, coughed on people in an attempt to spread the disease, and even taken advantage of others through theft and fraud. But not everyone is walking the path of the villain. Some are doing the reverse. Some have risen to become the hero and raise the bar for what it means to be human for the global culture. (Science Daily) Although some studies have linked high levels of testosterone to immoral behavior, a new study published in Nature Human Behaviour finds testosterone supplements actually made people more sensitive to moral norms, suggesting that testosterone’s influence on behavior is more complicated than previously thought.
