Thank you for joining in this work, which is about you and your life!
(Gaia) Could your love of sushi be proof that you were Japanese in a past life? Maybe not, but for a group of 24 Burmese children it might be. After WWII, a large group of children in Burma claimed they remembered being Japanese soldiers in their past life and could not tolerate the spicy Burmese cuisine; instead they craved raw fish.
(Justin Deschamps) Life is more about your philosophy than it is about your circumstances. Yes, we should and can tailor the environmental conditions in our lives for maximum fulfillment, empowerment, and benefit. But in most cases, the control we can exercise on the outside world is extremely limited. The best way to nurture a happy, productive, and fulfilling life is to develop a taste for challenge and to embrace the unknown. Arguably the most impactful arena of human life is interpersonal relationships. If we can learn to develop gratitude for the people in our lives, we’ll cease to feel oppressed and develop more self-respect and empowerment.
(Justin Deschamps) Spiritually gifted people sounds like there are those who have it and those that don’t. But this isn’t the case. Spiritual gifts are not given to us for nothing, we’re not born with them in an active state. We have to develop them. Spiritual gifts are our personality potentials, they come alive inside us when we’re in certain situations and we choose, of our own free will, to step forward and grow.
(Azriel ReShel) Some years ago while staying at the ashram of the Indian saint, Ramana Maharshi, nestled at the foot of the forest covered mountain of Arunachala, I read the great sage’s sacred words, etched above a doorway: “Whatever is destined not to happen will not happen, try as you may. Whatever is destined to happen will happen, do what you may to prevent it. This is certain. The best course, therefore, is to remain silent.”
(Mateo Sol) There’s a thin veil between our conscious Self and our Souls that over time thickens until we forget it ever existed. In doing so, we forget about the treasures, gifts and personal purpose that awaits us.
(Mateo Sol) Although we are all born with Souls, not all of us know how to fully embody them and integrate them into our human experience. The truth is that in our modern world, we live Ego-centrically rather than Soul-centrically
(Hilde Larsen) We all have a purpose, either we believe it or not. When we find it, or rather, when it finds US, magic happens. Like it did to me. Living a purposeful life doesn’t mean it is all dandy and a non-stop ride to fairyland. It simply means you find value and growth in your experiences, and you feel in sync and flow with life. It feels like freedom and home. The search is over, the drive and enthusiasm come natural towards your life.
Being 100% authentic to who you are, and at peace with it. Living from the Heart. Feeling comfortable within yourself. At all times. With everyone. No matter what “people dynamics” you are exposed to.
Now that’s a tough one for an ego who needs the approval, love and acceptance of others. Inner-peace sure is conditional when we are afraid to have our mind and its beliefs challenged in one way or another. But instead of basing our actions and state of being according to the fears, worries and desires of our ego, what we should ask our heart instead is:
Is it really worth it to compromise our natural state for the sake of appeasing the ego of others? Is it worth it to step away from our natural state and rather buy into our own egoic beliefs and fears?
The truth is, when others are truly comfortable and at peace with themselves, they won’t need you to change who you are. And when you are truly comfortable and at peace within yourself, you don’t need others to change who they are. Only the ego does.
When you have reached a state of utmost clarity and inner-peace, the only thing that can really make sense… is to BE who you truly are!
So the bottom line is, when you are authentic and at peace within yourself, YES, there will always be egos challenged by you, yet there will always be souls INSPIRED by you. In both cases, it is as perfect as it can get
This is a simple reminder, not long, just simple. You can read it today, pass it on. Deep wisdom doesn’t have to be super long. Enjoy your day!
