Australia about to ban unvaccinated children from preschools and daycare

(Natural News) Will unvaccinated children soon be banned from daycare centers and preschools in the land down under? Australia’s Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has taken it upon himself to call upon state and territory leaders to move towards “nationally consistent laws” regarding vaccination. According to The Guardian, Turnbull intends on taking his sweeping jab initiative…

AI Mind Reading Technology Can Tell If You’ve Knowingly Committed a Crime — Partial Disclosure?

(Stillness in the Storm Editor) The acme of crime investigation is the ability to scan a person's mind to see if they committed a crime, bypassing deception on the part of a suspect. According to the following article, this technology has been developed and is now being studied for public use. In some ways, it could clean up the rampant corruption that pervades nearly every level of the "justice system," by verifying if a suspect has any guilt associated with an accused crime. But it can also be used to spy on a person's thoughts in general.

Subway Sues TV Network over Report that its Chicken is 50% Soy

The Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) recently reported that a DNA test of Subway’s chicken conducted by Trent University in Ontario revealed that the product was made up of approximately 50% soy filler, and the sandwich chain isn’t taking it lying down. The company has decided to file a huge lawsuit against the news network. [1]

A Subway spokesperson said in a statement:

“We have issued a Notice of Action in Canada against the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that asks for $210 million in damages over allegations made by its program, ‘Marketplace,’ that are defamatory and absolutely false.

Despite our efforts to share the facts with the CBC about the high quality of our chicken and to express our strong objections to their inaccurate claims, they have not issued a retraction, as we requested.” [1]

The segment that aired on February 24, 2017 reported that the DNA test of Subway’s chicken showed that its oven-roasted chicken contained 53.6% chicken and that its chicken strips contained 42.8% poultry. [2]

Subway said in its statement:

“Test results from laboratories in Canada and the US clearly show that the Canadian chicken products tested had only trace amounts of soy, contradicting the accusations made during the broadcast of ‘CBC Marketplace.’” [1]

It went on to say:

“Our chicken is 100% white meat with seasonings, marinated and delivered to our stores as a finished, cooked product. We have advised them [CBC] of our strong objections. We do not know how they produced such unreliable and factually incorrect data, but we are insisting on a full retraction. Producing high quality food for our customers is our highest priority. This report is wrong and it must be corrected.” [1]

Subway franchisee Bob Grewal, who oversees Subway restaurants in Canada near where the DNA-tested chicken was sold, claims that Trent University told Subway officials that “the CBC twisted all the facts.” [2]

However, the president of Trent University, Leo Groarke, is standing by the results. He said in a statement:

“At Trent we are proud to champion independent research. Defending good science is one of the key roles of universities in society. We are proud of the work of our Wildlife Forensic DNA Laboratory, its faculty and staff. It is important to stand up for sound scientific findings, particularly when they are unpopular.” [3]

The CBC is standing by the findings as well and said:

“We believe our journalism to be sound and there is no evidence that we’ve seen that would lead us to change our position.” [2]

Grewal also said that the CBC called Subway 2 weeks before the segment and “asked us a very specific question about the soy content in our food’’ – namely, what the percentage was. However, the CBC failed to inform Subway that it had been conducting DNA tests and taste tests with customers, according to Grewal.

He said:

“The fact is these guys sideswiped us. This was purposely done to drive ratings.” [2]

A week after the February 24 report was broadcast, Subway published a rebuttal, saying that it had two independent labs test its chicken – one in the U.S. and one in Canada – and both found only trace amounts of soy. [1]

Maryland House Overwhelmingly Votes to Ban Fracking

On March 10, Maryland’s House of Delegates passed legislation to ban hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, 97 to 40. The bill’s next hurdle is the Senate, where a key lawmaker has resisted efforts to permanently prohibit the practice. [1]

Senator Joan Carter Conway, a Democrat from Baltimore, chairs the Senate committee tasked with reviewing the proposal. She has said she sees no point in trying to get the legislation to Governor Larry Hogan’s desk until both legislative chambers can approve it with enough majorities to avoid a veto. She said that without enough votes to override a veto, it would make more sense to simply extend a moratorium on fracking. [1], [2]

Hogan supports fracking as long as Maryland implements strong safety measures for the gas-extraction method. [1]

The 141-member House needs 85 votes to override a veto from the governor, and the 47-member Senate requires 29 notes to do so. Anti-fracking advocates say they’re a few votes short of that number in Senate.

Mike Tidwell, director of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network, said:

“If Joan Carter Conway declared today that she too supports a ban, then it’s going to go to Hogan’s desk, because not only will we have her vote, but several people have said they’ll support it if she does.” [1]

There is no hydraulic fracturing currently occurring in the state; but without a ban, fracking would be permitted in Maryland after October 2017, which would mark the end of a two-year moratorium on the practice. Conway has proposed a bill that would extend the moratorium another two years and require counties to hold referendums in 2018 on whether to allow the drilling method. [1], [3]

Garrett and Allegany counties are considered the parts of the state that are most likely to have gas deposits that could be reached by fracking. [2]

The majority voted to ban the technology after being shown scientific proof that fracking increases the risk of earthquakes, water contamination, and health problems in areas where the practice is permitted. [2]

Fracking’s Bad Record

Hydraulic fracturing is the practice of injecting water, sand, and chemicals deep within shale rock to release oil and natural gas. The technology has the potential to cause groundwater contamination, methane pollution, air pollution, exposure to toxic chemicals, and explosions. Moreover, each fracking operation requires millions of gallons of water. [4]

In 2013, several people were injured by an explosion at a natural gas well site in West Virginia. The explosion reportedly occurred when

“a spark triggered a flash explosion and a fire after a problem during the ‘flow back’ process when drilling fluids are pumped into storage tanks.”

In March of 2016, a federal jury ordered Cabot Oil & Gas to pay $4.24 million to two Dimock, Pennsylvania, families for Cabot’s pollution of their well water since 2008.

And in 2014, 585 fracking-related earthquakes measuring 3.0 or larger on the Richter scale rocked the state of Oklahoma – three times the number that struck California. Experts fear the state could be rocked by a massive man-made earthquake at any time.

Trump Pushed FBI to Nab Israeli-American Suspect in Bomb Threats on Jewish Centers, Sources Say

The youth from Ashkelon has been making similar threats for the past two years, but only after the FBI sent investigators to Israel was an arrest made.

By Yaniv Kubovich and Almog Ben Zikri | 26 March 2017

HAARETZ — The Jewish Israeli-American arrested this week on suspicion of making a host of bomb threats on Jewish institutions worldwide has been making such cyberattacks for two years, but only recently was his capture given high priority, according to police sources.

The sources attributed the turnabout to pressure from United States President Donald Trump. A few weeks ago, after Trump announced that the FBI would do everything in its power to catch the perpetrator, the agency sent 12 investigators from its cybercrime unit to Israel to assist the Israeli investigation.

The 19-year-old was arrested in the Israeli city of Ashkelon on Thursday by cybercrimes unit of the Israel Police, seizing computers and other items investigators say helped the suspect evade detection. […]

New Moon In Aries: Spring Into Action

We are having a New Moon in Aries on March 27th-28th, depending on where you are located in the world. The first sign of the zodiac, Aries always initiates a new season at the Equinox. Therefore, this New Moon is what really kickstarts the astrological New Year each year, and the initiating energy of Aries.

Venus has been retrograde since the beginning of the month and this will continue until April 15th, but it will still have an influence until early-mid May. This is a time in which we are reflecting on and revisiting issues around our pleasures, love life, friendships, money, values, creativity, and/or even considering or making changes to make certain areas of our life more beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. You can read more about that here.

Mercury is also slowing down before going retrograde on April 9th/10th. Part of this will occur in the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus, which could bring up some of the same issues as Venus does for some people. Keep in mind that some of the new developments occurring in our lives between now and the beginning of the retrograde may still go through a sorting out process until early-late May, as Mercury’s retrograde will help us to see things in a different light.

I will be writing an article about this upcoming Mercury retrograde. You can make sure you receive this and others by signing up on my mailing list here if you are not already on it.

Aries: Bold, Initiating, Independent, Active

Aries is the pioneering energy of the zodiac. It is forward moving, fast, direct, and likes to take the lead. As the first sign of the zodiac, it is also associated with ‘birth’ following the dreamy and spiritual sign of Pisces. At this time of year we generally start to feel more alive and willing to ari-gly-222-plus-plustake action and/or possibly explore new territory.

One thing that we need to be cautious of regarding Aries energy is being impulsive without considering consequences or others, or missing important details because we haven’t thought things through. This is something to consider with Mercury retrograde coming up, as all of this combined is a recipe for overlooking things. However, Aries’ ruler, Mars, being in Taurus can help us to be more thorough about physical actions.

Considering that Aries is an active sign, and that its ruler Mars is in the physically-oriented Taurus (with Venus also retrograde), this can be a good time for many people to consider exercising more if they feel that they want to improve their appearance. Also, as Aries is more oriented toward self-interests, those who have been overly caught up in relationship considerations or codependencies may feel like this is a time to apply yourself more independently in certain areas of your life to bring in more balance. This is also supported by Venus and Mercury in the same sign currently in retrograde windows with Mercury opposing Jupiter in Libra.

Pluto Trine Mars and Square Jupiter In Libra

Aries’ ruler, Mars, is moving toward a trine to Pluto that can help us with what we are applying ourselves toward. This energy is strongest on April 5th-6th. As they are both in Earth signs during a retrograde period, this energy is great for anything that involves rebuilding or fixing something that is physical to make it stronger and more stable.

nm-ari-chart-2017This can also be good for improving our routines and structures, as well as applying ourselves to making positive changes in our careers or ways of doing business. Mercury trine Saturn (with Uranus close by) also reinforces some of this energy and helps us to be innovate and creative.

Jupiter in Libra is also in a tight square aspect with Pluto during this time, while Uranus in Aries is also somewhat involved, forming a wide t-square. This aspect combined with everything else going on may serve as a reminder that even though we may be considering more of our self-interests, we also need to consider how our personal actions will ultimately help us in our relationships, partnerships, and in doing what is fair and balanced. Alternatively, we may be taking the lead on things that are helping our relationships in some way and/or expanding our social connections.

Making Intentions for This New Moon

In what areas of your life do you need to be more bold and take action on? How can you apply yourself more independently while still considering others and factoring in your relationships and collaborations with others? What can you build or apply yourself toward that can add more value to your life, help you in your goals and structures, manage your life better, and possibly help you to make more income/resources?

venus-rx-readings-ad-2These are just some examples of what your intentions can be directed toward. However, anything else that comes up related to what was mentioned in this article or otherwise can be also be applied. Aries is like a springboard that can help propel us into new territory. Our intentions and actions made during this time have the potential to be a significant seed for what can develop in our lives throughout the year.

The best time to make your New Moon intentions is as close to the New Moon as possible, but they can still work within the first 24 hours following. The first half hour after the New Moon is prime time, and can even be initiated during the half hour prior to it if your intention setting is completed at or following the exact time. The New Moon will be at 2:57am Universal Time on March 28th (night of the 27th in the Americas). You can click here to find out what that is exactly in your time zone.
